As the Hogwarts Express pulled into the station, Harry couldn't but help wonder who the new defence against the dark arts teacher is and looked out of the window at his 'home'
"Hey Harry, come on, I'm hungry" Ron said pulling on Harry's robes.
"When aren't you Ronald, but seriously Harry, we need to hurry otherwise we will be late for the sorting" Hermione scolded them both.
"Fine I'm coming I'm coming. Let me just grab my wand" and with that the trio went to find a carriage. Once they found one they hopped in and waited for it to start moving.
"God, do they always take this long? I'm hungryyyy." Ron whined.
"Well maybe if you could just be patient one time Ronald" Hermione retaliated and Harry watched the two squabble until he saw a certain fiery woman walking towards him.
"Looking as beautiful as ever my lady." Harry complemented Ginny as she sat down next to him.
"You're already going out with me, what more o you want." She replied smiling. "Though I don't mind a nice complement once in a while." and with that they started snogging passionately.
"Ewww gross guys-get a room!" Ginny broke the kiss and started to say something, but Hermione did it for her.
"You hypocrite Ronald. At least Ginny or Harry don't but in when we're snogging. Get a grip on yourself."
"Yeah but she's my sister Hermione."
"And Hermione is a sister to me so you can just shut up now Ron." Ron started to say something else when the carriage started moving.
"Finally! God, what took so long!?" He said instead. But no-one said anything back as they were all focused on what was in front of them. Hogwarts loomed over them, but in a comforting way, not a scary way. They were also too excited to see who the new defence against the dark arts teacher was and who was going to be sorted into Gryffindor.
