Chapter 87

Let's go! Were back but this one will have a slow update. But hope you still like it!

Few years ago.

Okay really when Moxxie was finished with college and was working with Ivy a little bit longer.

Ivy watches Moxxie cleaning up after a few costumers tried to start a fight. Not over the Flaw material but a lottery ticket. Took that away after they were kicked out. Let out a sigh and look at the ticket. Snort and shook her head. "Hey Mox want the chance to win."

"Pass. Probably fake."                                                                                                      

"Hmm let's see." Studies the ticket and does some little ticket. "Look at that you were correct."

"I was?"

Ivy chuckles and crumble it up. Toss it in the trash can. "Happens a lot. Can you check the inventory when you're done?"

"Sure."

Ivy hums and cleans up anything around on the counter. While keeping an eye on the customer. About to close in a few minutes anyway.

The last customer about to head off. Then the door slammed them against the wall.

"Ivy dear!"

Ivy looks up and chuckle. "Well, well the witch is in the house. How you been Selena?"

A sinner demon that was 5'7. Wore clothing look mix between Victorian and modern. A small cloak that reaches her waist. A vest with a long sleeve tunic like shirt. A skirt to the knees. A ribbon with a jewel on the center of her neck. Her right leg she was wearing an ankle boot. While her left leg the foot look like claw like feet. Her right hand had black slender claws. While the left look normal slender claws. A long black spade like tail. She has no neck as her head was floating. Skin that was frosty white that was alluring. White hair style in a bun. In the bun was a silver hair pin with three small tears like jewel hanging down. On the side of her hair was a round jewel pin. Can see black horn sticking out the white hair on the left side.  Loose strands around her face with a loose bang covering her left eye. But can see her right eye that was black sclere. It made the azure color in her iris looking very alluring along with a slit pupil.

"Oh, I've been very busy my friend." Walks over and used her tail to grab one the chairs from the corner. Too sit in front of the cash register.

"You know we can talk at a table."

"But I don't want to distract you from your work."

"You mean my work that's about to close in twenty minutes."

"Still working hours."

"My shop to close whenever."

"I'm a paying customer."

"Fair enough I supposed."

"Here I thought our friendship is based on a lovable, bond. Not money." Mock hurt look on her face.

"Stop it you look ridiculous."

"Meanie but a trait I do like." She giggles and look around. The visible eye glance at a certain section. "Seems like you widen your shop work."

"Brings business on both sides."

"If it a livable one." Stands up to walk over to the materials and few shirts. Sees a ribbon with a pretty ice design, along with another that had stars. Pick them both up. Sees a card that says Flaw along with online website. She brings them over. "Would look good with my jewels."

"Anything else."

"I'll have the slice of apple pie. Along with the coffee. The sweet one."

"The Irish Coffee."

"Yes."

"On it." Rings up the total, handed the soul money and gets all her stuff ready for her. "How about your work?"

"Which one out of the four."

"Let's go with your Potions."

"Alright and trying to make something new. Made one fool pay trying to trick me. With fake souls of all things. It's a disgrace." Selena huffed and played with the ribbon in her claws.

"Indeed. But it would be a bigger disgrace if you fell for it." Put the slice of pie in front of her. Then goes to make the drink.

"I learn from that from that mistake." Took a bite of her pie and swallow it. "Then that overlord Velvet try to buy MY recipe."

"That moth prick woman brat or whatever."

"Correct. I sent a message to her to stick a pin in her eye. Then choke on it. She can do her own potions. Just like I will do my own. Besides I'm trying to keep myself distant with anything and anyone who has ties with that Fopdoodle."

"I thought you already were?"

"I am he just trying to sway back into my good grace." Took another bite into her pie. "Have a few ideas why. That's why you haven't seen me as much."

"I can get that. Do you need any ingredients?"

"No, I'm good with what I have." Another bite of her pie and let loose a cat like smile. "Now I hears something very interesting about you."

"Rumor or customers not keeping their noses out of my business." Ivy snorted as vine goes to grab one of the ingredients for the coffee.

"Now, now its nothing bad silly. I heard you are seeing someone?"

"Just talking." Glance at her. "Is that an issue."

"Oh, no! Im just surprise is all. Your very personal about your business and life."

"Same with you too."

"Fair point. But im just looking out for a friend that is all. It is well Hell."

"Don't worry about me. Besides," Face softens slightly when she put the drink down in front of them." I like this one. Their different."

"Anyone can be different." Selena took a sip of her drink. "Mmmm still yummy and delicious. But for you wanting a relationship. Well, can't judge you on that. Do tell me if that act like a jerk. Ill gladly to put them in their place."

"Sure, you sadistic woman."

"Thanks." Selena grinned and glance back at the card. "Flaw. Not a bad name. Fits well for down here. Can- "

"No."

"Come on."

"You keep your information and secrets of clients private. I do as well."

"Fair enough I supposed." Selena pouts and finishing the rest of her treats. Took a huge sipe of her own drink. Stands up to gather her materials. "This was a good talk. I do apologize for not coming by a lot lately."

"It's all right. We are both busy."

"Indeed." Wave the card. "I'll check this out later."

"You'll like it and better check quickly."

"Oh?"

"Gets sold out fast especially the three-slot spot."

"Now I'm very curious. Have decent day Ivy."

"You too Selena tries not to kill your students."

"No, promises." Selena giggles and heads off.

Ivy shakes her head and used a vine to put the chair back in the corner.

That woman is something else.

Look behind to see Moxxie return back with a clipboard.

"Here you go."

"Thanks Mox."

"Any, issue up here?" Look at the knock out sinner that was defiantly hit by a door.

"Nope. An old friend of mine came by and we chat." Ivy then grabs the plate and cup.

"Oh cool."

"Yes, cool."

"Want me to dump them outside?" Point at the sinner.

"If you don't mind."

"Sure."

Moxxie grabs the sinner by the ankle and drag them out the café. Put them right by the alleyway. Goes to walk back inside but stop when he heard squeaks and hisses. Turn back to see the rats drag the sinner in the alleyway.

Yep, Moxxie doesn't regret putting that protection spell up around the place. Let's hope he never drops it.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHH THE RATS! THE RATS ARE EATING ME!"

Whelp that one way for sinner to die and come back again.

This was like another filler episode/chapter so got to know a few little details about our OC characters. Probably will see a few others but we shall see. Along with the other book.

Yeah sinners can only die in certain ways. So, being eaten alive by rats well it's not one of them. But it's not fun either. Unless they evolved. We shall never know.
