Jonah hums softly, refusing to move in fear of disturbing Aurora, who sleeps peacefully with her head on his shoulder.
The girls had stayed up until three in the morning, laughing and growing closer as dawn approached. That is, until the boys came downstairs and brought them to bed.
Jonah, who had originally insisted sleeping on the floor as Aurora lay in his bed, wound up on the bed - with several feet in between the two - and Aurora's hand clasped onto his wrist to make sure he didn't move to the floor once she fell asleep.
Somehow in the middle of the night, the two had gravitated towards each other and Jonah woke up to his arm around Aurora's waist and her head snuggled into his shoulder.
Stroking her hair absentmindedly, he can't help but to admire how beautiful she looks in the early morning light. Even with her usual facade of make-up wiped away, she was perfect in every way.
Jonah couldn't wait for the day he would be able to call her his.
An alarm on Jonah's phone erupts shrilly, scaring Aurora so badly she nearly falls out of the bed. She groans, quickly hiding under a pillow.
"Good morning, sunshine," Jonah grins, turning his alarm off. "Are you ready to get up?"
"No." The girl states stubbornly
"Would you get up if I told you we have coffee?"
Aurora thinks about it for a moment, before sitting up and stretching her arms out. "Only if you carry me."
The boy chuckles, nevertheless picking the sleepy brune up bridal style and walking down the stairs. Careful not to run into any walls, they successfully make it to the kitchen, where he sits her down on a chair at the island.
Next to her sits Corbyn - who looks as though he's been up for hours - and across the island sits Zach, munching on a bowl of cereal.
"Why are you up so early?" Jonah asks, sliding a premade cup of coffee over to Aurora, who accepts it gratefully. "You're never up this early."
"It's because Carmen is here," Corbyn teases, earning a glare from the youngest boy. "He wants to spend as much time with her as possible."
"What about me?" Carmen questions, skipping into the room wearing Zach's clothes.
"First of all, Caramel, how are you even functioning properly without coffee?" Aurora raises an eyebrow. "Why are you up so early?"
"I'm surprisingly a morning person," Carmen replies softly, sitting next to Zach with a smile.
"That's stupid," Aurora comments, already debating over whether or not to get a second cup of coffee. "Don't you need some coffee to keep you awake?"

"I'm a princess," Aurora states, marching into the room while flaunting her new Disney dress. "Bow down, peasants."
Daniel bows down dramatically with a grin, before plopping down onto a chair. Carmen follows closely behind her, having been the one to help her get it on, small giggles escaping her lips as the girl prances. Callie's eyes widen at the sight of Aurora's small Cinderella dress.
"I thought you were joking," she murmurs.
"Nope," Carmen confirms. "We were completely serious."
Aurora gasps, turning around to face Jonah.
"We were," she pauses, winking. "Dead Sirius."
Jonah shakes his head disapprovingly as Carmen sighs. Jack takes his chance to step into the living room, interested in the conversation.
"So what do you guys want to do today?" He asks, placing himself on the floor in front of the chair Callie sits in.
"Well, we can do anything except go to the mall," Carmen tells him, sharing a knowing look with Aurora. "Aurora and I are currently banned."
Aurora gasps, a lightbulb flashing in her head. "We should go to IKEA."
Not waiting for a response from any of the others, she grabs the hands of Carmen and Callie, before dragging them up the stairs. Behind them, Zach muttered something that sounded like "here we go again".
"So why Ikea?" Callie questions, nearly tripping over the last stair.
"Because my six month ban is over," Aurora replies, pulling the two into Jonah's room and closing the door.
Neither Callie nor Carmen were surprised as she finished her sentence before dumping her bags on the floor. She sifted through the clothes and makeup, looking up at the girls.
"I literally packed my house. Help yourself to any of this stuff."
Grabbing her bag that had been sat outside in the hallway, Carmen dumps her bag on the floor too, joining Aurora. By this time, most of the floor was covered in shoes, tops, jeans, makeup, and everything else they had managed to fit in their bags.
"Come, Callie," Carmen motions to the floor, looking expectant. "Join the clothing cult."
Callie rolls her eyes at the ridiculousness but, nonetheless, joins them with a wide grin on her lips.

Nearly twenty minutes later, the three had finally made their way out of the room. None of them had any sight of Jonah, Zach, or Jack. Aurora scans the living room, expecting some sort of prank.
Carmen pokes Callie's arm, gesturing to the empty room.
"Where are-"
Carmen's sentence is cut off as the three boys jump out from behind the staircase, Jonah blaring Aurora's airhorn as they do so. Screaming, Carmen trips over the last stair. But before she can hit the ground, Zach's arms snake around her waist.
"Aww," Callie coos. "She fell for him."
"That's what I said the first time I heard about that!" Aurora exclaims, high-fiving Callie. Before anyone can react, she turns around, throwing herself backwards. "TRUST FALL!"
Falling off of the bottom step and expecting to land in Jonah's arms, Aurora hits the ground with a harsh thump. Not moving, she looks up at Jonah.
"You were supposed to catch me, Marais," the girl chastises with a joking scowl.
"Oops," Jonah grins, shrugging his shoulders. "Come on."
He extends his hand, making Aurora shake her head stubbornly.
"Aren't you ready to go?"
Ignoring the question, Aurora opts to serenade him instead. "If I lay here, if I just lay here. Would you like with me and just forget the world?"
"If you get up now, I'll give you a piggy back ride," Jonah offers, still holding out his hand.
When she refuses, he drops his hand, still looking down at her. Jack, who now had Callie on his back, was becoming impatient.
"If you can't get the girl out the door, I will," he says, shifting his weight and adjusting Callie.
Without saying another word, he maneuvered around Carmen, Zach, and Jonah before grabbing one of Aurora's hands and dragging her body out of the front door. Watching amusedly, Jonah chuckles, glancing at Zach and Carmen.
"That's one way to do it."

Linking arms with Jonah, Aurora sends a bright, sarcastic wave and smile to the store manager as the group of six make their way through the doors of Ikea. The man only scowls in response.
Once they were gathered safely in the store, Aurora let's go of Jonah and sprints down a random aisle.
"TO NARNIA!"
"I want to come too!" Carmen yells, chasing after her.
"Don't leave me behind," Callie says, following quickly after them.
Coming to a stop in order to allow the girls to catch up, Aurora catches the end of the boys' continued conversation.
"I suggest keeping a safe distance, but don't let them out of your sight," Jonah says to them.
When the other girls join Aurora, she continues to walk, looking for a specific shelf. When finding it, she snatches the girls from sight, then disappears behind rolls of packaged toilet paper.
"Have you guys ever made a toilet paper fort?" She questions in a whisper, hoping the boys wouldn't hear her. They shake their heads, causing a smirk to grow on her face. "Then you shall learn from the master. But be quiet, I don't want the boys to find us."
Aurora then proceeds to direct Carmen and Callie to the sides of the bottom shelf, showing them how to stack the packages so that no one would notice, or be able to see them. But through the chaos of mutters, Zach, Jack, and Jonah managed to find them.
Despite the fact that they know where the girls are, they walk in the opposite direction, mischievous looks plastered on their faces.
"If they find us, I want you to take them down," Aurora states, pulling a bottle of black paint from her purse. "Got it? Tackle them if you have to."
She smudges the paint in a stripe under both of her eyes before doing the same to Carmen and Callie. Callie jumps back at how cold it feels while Carmen doesn't react, too interested in how she could possibly have the idea to put paint in her bag for any occasion.
Hearing footsteps from outside the fort, Aurora narrows her eyes, peeking through one of their peepholes.
"Aurora!" Jonah calls, hiding his hands behind his back like Jack and Zach. "You're going to get all of us banned if you three keep this up."
"That's the plan!" She calls back, Carmen and Callie snickering behind her.
"Can you at least let us enter the fort?" Jack asks.
"No boys allowed," Callie giggles.
Joining Aurora at the peephole, Carmen furrows her eyebrows in suspicion.
"They're up to something," she comments, seeing as there was no reply.
With a loud war cry, Zach comes barreling through the fort's walls, spraying silly string all over the girls. Carmen let's out a loud screech as he continues to empty the can. Jonah and Jack barge through the entryway, both shooting large Nerf guns.
With a screech, Aurora throws packages of toilet paper back in retaliation. Next to her, Callie does the same as Carmen tackles Zach into a bin of stuffed animals.
Aurora was swept off her, before being thrown into the bin of animals next to Carmen and Zach. Jonah quickly follows, having been pushed by Callie, and lands next to the girl.
Aurora laughs absurdly, poking his cheek. "Did you really think you could defeat the queens?"
Their moment is cut short as an angry voice begins to shout.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?" The manager's voice roars, causing Aurora's head to pop up from the bin. "I WANT ALL OF YOU OUT NOW!"
His face is beet red, his anger evident in his expression.
"Don't be such a Malfoy, Luke," Aurora says sarcastically, rolling her eyes. "We were just having a little fun."
His nostrils flare and his expression somehow grows even more agitated. "I will call security on you. Again."
"Is that a promise?"
××××
"I don't know about you guys," Aurora starts, leaning against Jonah as they walk up the sidewalk to the Why Don't We house. "But I had fun getting carried out by the security guards."
Jack gives her a weird look. "You're crazier than I thought."
"I take that as a compliment, Poodle," she replies, earning a chuckle from both, Zach and Carmen.
The second the front door closes behind them, a blond - that was certainly not Corbyn - runs at them full speed from the hallway.
"IT'S MUH BOIS!"
