Static growled. "Let's see about that..."

She used Thunderbolt but Echo dodged and used Woodhammer. Static countered it with Iron Tail and the attacks clashed into each other like swords.

They continued trying to take down the other with attacks in the middle of the forest.

Meanwhile at the abandoned house where the Ghost types lived, Napstablook was starting to get worried. "She has been gone for too long. Something must have happened.. we got to find her and help her out." He said to himself.

He stood up and waved his ghostly hands to get everyone's attention. "Everyone listen up! I think Echo may be in trouble! We have to go out and help her!!" He announced.

"Oh no! Then what are we waiting for! Let's go!" Cheshire replied.

Echo used Play rough on Static. Static was getting bruised up badly from the attack and she was knocked back into a tree. She slowly got back up to her paws only to get hit by a Shadow Ball.

Static used Electro Ball to get back at Echo. Echo was hit by the attack and growled in annoyance. Static ran towards Echo and uses Iron Tail again, slashing at her fake Pikachu head, leaving a tear in the neck area. Static grinned at the tear she made in the rag.

Echo hissed in pain from the light shining inside of her rag from the tear.

"You-you made- made a- a mistake-mistake..." Echo said, an echo being heard from the inner demon self hidden under her rag.

"No! You made a mistake!! Getting me fired from the Squad!!" Static protested. "You'll pay for this!!"

"No-no you- you will-will pay-pay for-for this-this! Us-us Ghost-Ghost Types-Types are-are innocent-innocent..."

Suddenly, Echo and Static was distracted from their fight when they heard voices.

"Don't worry Echo! We are here to help!!" Napstablook said.

"More Ghosts!!!" Static gasped.

Napstablook saw what happened to Echo. "Oh no!! Echo!! Are you alright?! What happened to you?? What did she do to you. That monster!!"

"You are the monsters! Not me!!" Static growled.

"Run-run get-get out-out of-of here-here. It's-it's too-too dangerous-dangerous." Echo warned.

"We're not leaving you Echo. We are here to help you." Napstablook told her.

"Well watch as you all perish!!" Static replied through gritted teeth.

Napstablook used Shadow Ball. Echo did the same and they released the attacks at the same time, hitting Static with both.

Cheshire and the other Ghost Types did the same as Static tried her best to dodge as many as she could but it proved to be difficult as she was hit by most of them.

She collapsed to the ground by the barrage of attacks that were thrown at her.

Unbeknownst to them, the battle was starting to get the attention of a few Starters that were on patrol in the forest.

"What is that?" A Turtwig asked.

"We should check it out." A Piplup replied.

The others nodded and went off to the source of the disturbance in the forest. Once they got there, they saw the group of Ghost Types with an injured Pikachu on the ground.

"Halt!!!! You are under arrest!!" The Piplup replied. The group of 15 Starters walked in front of Static to protect her from further damage.

"The-the Starter-Starter Squad-Squad!!" Echo growled in hatred.

The group of 20 Ghost Type Pokémon including Napstablook and Echo were not letting their guard down. They were still ready for a fight, no matter what.

"Do-Do not-not interfere-interfere Starter-Starter Squad-Squad. We-we must-must end-end this-this here-here." Echo charged a large Shadow Ball and released it at the group of Starters, but a Monferno used Flamethrower to counter the large attack.

The Monferno then ran towards Echo with poison jab but Echo dodged and used Mimic, attacking the fire monkey Starter with the same attack, poisoning him as he collapsed to the ground in pain from the poison coursing through his veins.

"Blaze!!" A Chimchar gasped. He used Ember in anger but Napstablook countered it with Dark Pulse.

Napstablook then used Rock Slide on the group of Starters managing to take down about 3 at once. 12 remained.

The group of Ghost Types And Starters all clashed into battle like a Pokémon war against Ghosts and Starters.
Napstablook and Echo both fought together, battling to the death. Neither of them seemed to want to give up.
