"Mom, who is she?"

That voice makes everything clear now. A kid infront of her is Hao and the lady is Jia. This is the first time Lixian saw Jia, she has a short black hair, she kinda looks like Japanese. They stare into each other for a moment, both look so uncomfortable.

"Mom, where is dad?" Hao asks Jia again. This time, Lixian feels a little pang inside her heart when he called Luhan 'dad', eventhough she knows the truth but it still hurts her a bit.

"Are you Xian?" Jia questions Lixian.

Lixian stares blankly at Jia, she didn't know if Jia knew her name. This surprises her until she remains silent, speechless, doesn't know what to say because they're a total stranger.

"You're Xian, right? Where is Luhan? His son needs him" Jia continues as she looks into Lixian's eyes. For Lixian, she could hear arrogance on Jia's tone, probably wants to show off, because Jia never knows if Lixian heard everything from Luhan.

"Yeah, I'm Xian, but Luhan is at office" Lixian speaks up.

"So what are you doing here when he's at office? It's his house" Jia talks coldly. Lixian just stares at her in annoyed, she couldn't believe Jia has no shame at all.

"So what is your business? It's none of your business, right?" Lixian speaks but she really holds her anger, she tries hard not to raise her tone, because Hao is watching them.

"You're shameless, Luhan is Hao's dad, and I'm his mom, so it's my business" Jia starts raising her tone. Noone could imagine how mad is Lixian, she really wants to yell and slap Jia but she couldn't. She doesn't want to have a childish fight with Jia infront of Hao, when she knows, she already wins over her.

"Then just come again when he returns from office" Lixian sighs secretly as she glances at Hao. He looks so confused right now, but he still looks so cute with the chubby cheeks. She slightly smiles at him, can't resist his cuteness.

"I will wait him inside" Jia rolls her eyes at Lixian as she barges in to Luhan's house. Lixian just frowns when she sees Jia dragging Hao like a pet. For her, Jia is nuts, no mother treats her son like that. Somehow she feels sorry for Hao.

Inside of his house, Jia walks around without Hao, she left him on the couch. It makes Lixian sighing. She decides to join Hao on the couch and she starts staring at him, he is too quiet.

"Hello" Lixian talks cutely and it gets Hao's attention, he is staring at Lixian with widen eyes.

"Your name is Hao, right?" She continues and smiles at him. Right after that Hao smiles back at her, this causes her to feel a warm vibe inside her heart, he is such a sweetheart.

"Hello, Hao" Lixian waves at him and his smile grows wider. Squealing lowly, she touches his cheeks and giggles immediately, they really like jelly.

"Auntie, what is your name?" Hao asks her shyly, his voice is really soft.

"Xian" Lixian chuckles as she keeps playing with his cheeks.

"Ah, auntie Xian" He talks excitedly and smiles at her. Nothing she can do except smiling or giggling, he is too adorable. After a while, Hao casually moves closer and sits on her laps, giving Lixian a mixed feeling. She feels surprise, but happy too.

"You're so cute" Lixian talks in her girly tone, she really can't believe Jia treats her adorable son bad.

Nothing leaves her lips as she stares at Hao, she feels relieved because she couldn't find any traces of Luhan's features on Hao. That's a simple verification if Hao wasn't Luhan's son. As she is in her deep thought, Hao suddenly pokes her cheek continuously as he giggles cutely, Lixian can't help but giggling back at him.

"HAO!" Between their giggle, suddenly Jia appears and yells at him. She rushes to Lixian and takes Hao from Lixian's laps harshly.

"What did you try to do?!" Jia yells at Lixian, and this immediately makes her stand up and glares at Jia.

"I-----" Before Lixian could talk, Jia starts hitting Hao's thigh as she curses at him. Lixian just stands there, speechless, she doesn't know what to do, because Jia is his mother, and Lixian is a stranger. This totally their business, but it hurts her to see him being hit by Jia.

"Don't do that" Lixian stops Jia, but she gets a slap from Jia.

"Don't tell me what to do and not to do!" Jia screams at Lixian. This causes her heart to break, Hao is a kid, too young to deal with that kind of violence.

"But-----" Another slap lands on Lixian's cheek. She feels so hopeless now until she decides to call Luhan. She runs to his room to get her phone, and immediately dials his number.

"Why did you talk to that girl?!" Lixian could hear Jia's voice from here, it follows by Hao's cry. As a human, this scene really breaks her heart, because when she was young, her mother always gave her love, protecting her with all cost, even just for a short periode of time, her mother never treated her bad, not like Hao, Lixian believes this wasn't the first time he got hit.

"Hey, what happened?" Luhan's voice wakes her up from the thought.

"Han, can you go home? I'm begging, I will explain later" Lixian talks in hurry.

"Why?" He asks, starts feeling the panic.

"Just come first, please"

Lixian waits infront of the door for Luhan, Jia still scolds Hao and he still cries so loud, until Lixian could hear it from the outside. She shuts her eyes closed as she feels her heart clenched in pain, somehow she feels guilty because if she wasn't trying to talk to him, he won't get such treatment.

"Xian" Luhan calls her name as he walks out from the car, rushing to Lixian.

"What happened?" He asks as he grabs her shoulder, feeling all worries about her. But without saying a thing, Lixian guides him inside and lets him see everything.

"You're a brat! I hate you!" Jia scolds Hao as she hits him. Luhan watches it and immediately feels anger. He runs to Jia and takes Hao away from her.

"Ssst, dad is here" Luhan talks to Hao because right after he gets Hao on his arms, Hao snuggles and cries on his shoulders.

"Lu-Lu-Luhan" Jia startles and immediately glares to Lixian, because she knows Lixian is the one who called him here.

"So, this is what you did to Hao when I was away, huh?" Luhan asks her in his deathly cold tone. His eyes stab her eyes, giving no mercy already.

"It's a missunderstanding, it's--- it's because of her" Jia now accuses Lixian.

"Stop it, you makes me angry, now get out from my house" Luhan talks coldly, even Lixian feels scared of him right now, he's totally different infront of Jia.

"But-----"

"No buts! Get out!" He raises his tone, and it makes already-calm Hao jolted.

"How about Hao?!" Jia yells at Luhan, she is too hopeless to think about her attitude.

"I'll take care of him, now get lost" Luhan talks lowly, never wants to try to scare Hao again. He looks into Jia, who is so stubborn to stay.

"Why did you do this to me?" Jia asks, ready to cry and make a drama scene.

"Because you hurt Hao, your only son" Luhan argues her.

"It's because of your ex, she acts like she was close with Hao" Jia starts crying and tugging Luhan's sleeve. This makes Lixian feels jealousy, just a little but still a jealousy, that's why she looks away and decides not to see.

"You're envy at Xian, stop it, you're so childish" Luhan talks, it sounds so soft now, makes Lixian's heart fell.

"I beg you to come back, why should you live here? I need you, Hao needs you" Jia talks between her tears. Lixian starts to feel like the third person who messed up their relationship.

"Because I need her-----" Luhan pauses as he turns to see Lixian.

"----I've been waiting for her, she is my other half" He continues.

"Now, will you come back to Beijing and end all this drama?" Luhan now questions Jia. He is tired, he is annoyed by her, but he is sad for Hao.

"But-----"

"I'm begging you to come back to Beijing, nothing will change my mind, I'll stay with her no matter what" Luhan starts begging now, he is desperate because Jia forces herself to fit in his life.

"I'll be okay without you but Hao will not" Now Jia starts using Hao again.

"I'll take care of him for days, now you come back to Beijing alone, and think about everything, reflect to yourself" Luhan talks, this just like the dead end for Jia. She misspoke and now she can't do a thing. She was defeated now.

"I will come to Beijing this weekend, and let's talk after you reflect" Luhan ends his words and walks to the door, he opens it for Jia.

"Please take care of him" Jia talks as she walks out from his house.

Jia doesn't really care if Hao is with her or not, but what she cares is, today she met Luhan and this weekend, they will meet again in Beijing. She will use the time to think about her next plan to make him stay, not to reflect herself. She really wants to make him stay, and she wants him to leave Lixian.

Lixian stares at Hao, who sleeps so tightly now. Earlier, he slept on her arms, maybe he was so tired because of the tears and also because of the pain on his body. Lixian bites her lips as she runs her fingers on Hao's redden thigh, Jia must hitted him really hard.

"Xian" Suddenly Luhan calls her as he walks in to the bedroom. He glances at Hao and sees him sleep so soundly. He feels sorry for Hao because he can't protect Hao.

"Han" Lixian gets off of the bed slowly and walks to him.

"Come here" Luhan immediately pulls her into his embrace, wrapping her body perfectly inside his arms. For a while, noone talks just hugging each other tightly, feeling the warmth.

"That was because of me, I'm sorry" Lixian whispers and lets out her tears, she feels guilty to Hao.

"Sssst, baby, it's alright now" Luhan talks softly, his hand strokes her back, comforting her.

"It wasn't your fault" He continues and in the end, he places a kiss on her hair, giving his love to her. At first, Luhan feels so worry about this decision, he's scared if Lixian againsts this idea, but she supports him. Earlier, he saw everything, Hao fell asleep on her arms, it means he feels comfortable with Lixian. Beside, he witnessed the way Lixian stares at Hao, it's a warm gaze, fill with affection.

"I'm scared" Lixian talks after she calms herself down. Luhan just looks down to meet her eyes, staring deep into her eyes.

"I'm scared you will leave me" She whispers and bites her lips. She won't deny her fear of losing him, the nervousness came to her right after he said he will come to Beijing this weekend to talk to Jia. This gives her worries.

"I will never, I promise you, Xian"
