It's near the lunch time, when every officers of Shanghai's branch arrive in one of beautiful resort in Beijing. It's Mr. Lu who personally welcomes them, smiling warmly to every officers as 'you do a good job' words slipping from his lips. Lixian stands behind the crowd, cringing her face secretly because everybody really tries hard to get Mr. Lu's heart.

After standing there for almost half an hour, finally everybody splits way to their room, leaving the lobby into a quiet mode. A relief sigh leaves Lixian's lips, right now she can greet Luhan's father without getting all the attention.

"Xian, welcome home" Mr. Lu actually the first one who greets Lixian. She smiles softly to him as she runs into his embrace. For a while, Lixian closes her eyes, feeling safe because after a long time, she can feel his fatherly aura again. All this time, Lixian always thinks that she will feel safer on Luhan's father's embrace rather than on her own father's.

December 1997, when every land covered by the snow and the coldest winter came, Lixian's mother took her last breath in the hospital because of severe illness. Even when Lixian already prepared for the worst, she was still taken aback. The seven years old Lixian cried her loudest cry but it still didn't bring her mother back. She lost her mother forever.

In 1998, Lixian moved in to her grandma's place. All for her best, her old house had so many memories about her mother. She would barely recover from her heart break because the memories kept tearing her apart. But everything changed after she lived with her grandma. Slowly, she could accept her mother's gone and since that day, her grandmother replaced her mother's role.

2 years after, Lixian was taken aback by her father decision to marry a girl she never met. Lately she found out, after she moved out from her old house, her father's girlfriend moved in. Lixian felt betrayed by this, she always thought her father replaced her with his new girlfriend. As a ten years old little girl, Lixian could do nothing eventhough she was against the marriage. In the end she lost all her respect to his father.

Not long after the marriage, Lixian's father moved to Hongkong with his new wife. Again, Lixian felt so disappointed with his father, she always thought that her father dumbed her. Since that day, she barely talked to her father, she avoided her father and his new wife. Because Lixian had those problems in such a young age, she grew into a strong mature girl, and for that, she always felt thankful.

After the lunch time, everybody heads to the hall for the opening event. Lixian sits on one of the seat at the back, alone, because she has no friend. She looks around as usual, searching for free handsome faces to stare. Sigh leaves her lips as she finds Mr. Huang, everywhere she looks, she always finds her co-workers.

"CEO Lu will enter the hall"

As the master of ceremony talks, everybody stands up from the seat and claps their hands. Lixian sees nothing but the broad shoulder of the man who sits infront of her. When everybody stops clapping, Lixian immediately sits on her seat, followed by everybody.

"Good afternoon to all my loyal workers" Luhan's father's voice is friendly, like usual.

Lixian smiles as she looks straight to the front. Her jaw harden as she sees a man beside Mr. Lu. It's really surprising for her to see him. He never came to this gathering, but today, he comes. Since she caught his figure, Lixian feels like her heart stop beating for a while. She can hear nothing. she can see nothing but Luhan, her lovely ex.

"That's CEO Lu's son, he is unbelievably handsome" A girl next to Lixian talks.

'Agree' Lixian talks inside her heart, can't deny his good-looking face. After four years stalked over him and saw him from picture, today Lixian sees him in person. It's a breath taking moment for Lixian, she unconsciously holds her breath. She is very sure, if she was standing right now, she would fall because her legs weak.

Eyes follow Luhan's figure, hands clenched in nervousness. He is so charming, his smile never changed, still warm and sweet like the old time. The only thing that changed is he smiles to everybody, not to Lixian only. The reality hits Lixian hard and fast until she feels the sadness inside her heart. If only they didn't fight that day, maybe that smile just belongs to her.

After the opening ceremony, Lixian immediately runs to her room and locked herself there. She screams loudly like a fangirl in an idol's concert. She can't take all the feeling she felt today. It's too.... messy. Feeling happy, sad, excited, hatred, all at the same time.

"What should I do? What should I do?" Lixian screams as she covers her face with the soft pillow. Screaming to the pillow like crazy, she throws herself to the comfy bed.

"What if I meet him?" She whines as she fakes a cry. She doesn't know what will happen if they two meet. She's not ready for that.

"I think I will fall in love again, because he is too handsome" Lixian talks like a little kid as she rolls on the bed. She expresses all her feeling through her body language, kicking the air to punching the air, all she did just to realease her nervousness.

"Fuck with that handsome Luhan! I'm getting ready for having fun" Lixian yells to the spaces. If someone sees her like this, that person will immediately call the psychiatrist. She totally looks like crazy.

Spending hours for getting ready, she is done when the sky turns dark already. She walks out from her room to the bar, nothing can calm her soul except couple shots of alcohol. As she walks alone, she can feel eyes staring at her, it really makes her uncomfortable until she speeds up her pace.

As she enters the bar, she feels a different vibe, a classy one. Noone talks loudly, everybody talks in a low tone, almost like a whisper but then annoying high-pitch chuckle comes from the other side of the bar. Lixian immediately turns her face with a stern look, but it changes into a surprise one after she sees Luhan with those flirty girls around him. Lixian immediately brings up her clutch, covering her face completely.

"Damn it" She mumbles as she walks to the stool.

She puts her clutch down as she sits on the stool, she can breath properly now because her back facing Luhan now. Noone will notice her. She asks for a shot of alcohol to the bartender, but her eyes steal a glance to Luhan. She sees Luhan's bored face as the girls keep talking to him.

"Hihihi" A little chuckle rolls out from her lips as she turns to see the bartender.

"Thank you" Lixian says her thank after the bartender gives the alcohol. She takes it in one shot and lets the alcohol burning down her throat. The liquor of course gives her a better feeling with a clearer thought. That's why people likes to drink, it easily changes the mood.

Lixian asks for her second shot as she glances to her back. She sees Luhan looking down at his phone, ignoring those girls around him. Somehow Lixian feels relief with his attitude, but she just sighs in the end because Luhan isn't hers anymore.

As she orders for more shots, she can't help but glancing and stalking over Luhan. He's too attractive and too hot to be ignored. He's just like a bleesing for her eyes.

"Loner Lixian" That voice of Mr. Huang surprises Lixian. Everybody turns their face to him, because of his loud voice. This moment, Lixian wants to disappear, she feels so embarrassed by his dorky behaviour. Mentally face-palmed herself, Lixian turns to see him and puts a poker face.

On the other side of the bar, Luhan turns his face not because of the loud voice, but because of the name he said. He just stares at the girl on the stool with his blank expression. In his eyes, Lixian still looks extremely beautiful and her body is amazing as always. But then he remembers how they broke up, it makes him rolling his eyes from her. Their break up is annoying as fuck, such a childish and careless decision.

"Mr. Huang!" Someone calls his name, and of course, that person safe Lixian's life from the evil manager.

Lixian strokes her chest after Mr. Huang leaves her alone, it's such a relief for her. But sadly, now she has no courage to glance at Luhan anymore, eventhough she wants to do it really bad. Lixian cringes her face and takes another shot of alcohol, but before it completely goes down her throat, her name called by the familiar voice.

"Xian" It's Luhan and Lixian knows it more than anyone else. Sits straightly at the stool, she slowly turns to the source of his voice. His scent lingers on her nose, his breath touches her skin. He stands too close to her, giving her a heart attack and making her choke to the liquor. This is so embarrassing but guess what more embarrassing? She coughs continuously like an old grandma as her saliva starts dripping from the corner of her lips. She is having a crisis right now infront of her hot ex.

"Your saliva drips to your cleavage, need a help to wipe it?" Luhan whispers as he smirks to Lixian.

Right there, she feels so dumb admiring him earlier. After these years, they meet again and the first attitude he shows her is being a pervert jerk. Slowly but sure, she slaps his cheek, not that hard to gain attention, but hard enough to make him shocked.

"Did you just slap me?" Luhan asks her with his round eyes. He can't believe what's just happened, it's a kind of humiliation.

"Yes, what are you going to do now?" Lixian uses his line from their breaking up scene and it leaves him in a deep silent. Eyes to eyes, they stare into each other, before Luhan breaks the eye-contact and walks away.

'I'm going to do whatever I want''

After he leaves her, Lixian feels more frustrated than before. She drinks more alcohol and she really wants to be drunk tonight. She wants to forget about that Luhan. That smirk of him, really reminds her about the first time he bullied her in the middle of junior highschool. After a couple of shots, she starts feeling dizy and her eyelids are so heavy. She is totally drunk.

One hour after midnight, Luhan goes to bar again and he finds Lixian already passed out there. He walks closer to her and stares deeply at her. He then slaps her arm softly, trying to confirm her consciousness but she didn't move even an inch, she really is passed out.

"Now I'm going to do whatever I want" Luhan whispers to her ear and lifts her body up. Thinking to carry her on his arms at first, but she doesn't deserve it, he then carries her on his shoulder like she was a sack of wheat. After grabbing her clutch, an evil smirk appears on his face as he heads out from the bar, kidnapping Lixian to his room.
