Josh sat in English class with his hoodie pulled up and slumped in his chair.

"Okay class we are going to be starting our semester assignments" Ms. Black said making the students groan dramatically.

"Anyways , you'll be assigned a partner and with that partner you two will have to choose a famous figure or figures and make a documentary about them" she explained the students whining at the fact they had assigned partners.

"Before I tell you your partners I want you to think of some famous figures that you may be interested in doing" she said then walked over to Tyler as the class erupted in noise.

"Can I speak to you outside for a minute?" She asked Tyler who looked up and nodding slowly.

The two walked outside and Tyler looked at his teacher nervously.

"What did you need to talk about Miss?" He asked and she signed softly.

"Can you be Joshua's partner? I know you rather be with your basketball friends but you're my top student and I really think you could help Joshua, see he isn't the best reader" she tried to explain and Tyler cut her off.

"Miss its fine I'll totally be Josh's partner...he's interesting" he said and Ms. Black signed in relief.

"Thank you so much Tyler" she said patting his shoulder as they walked back into the class .
