   laura walked out, tears streaming down her cheeks and josh jumped in surprise when he saw tyler stand up hesitantly walk up to him.

"ty-tyler...how long have you been there?" josh asked nervously as tyler reached his hand up, caressing his boyfriends face softly.

"long enough" he mumbled and josh looked down ashamedly. "i'm sorry you had to see that" josh murmured making tyler grab his chin and making him look up him.

as the pair of brown eyes met one another tyler leaned in kissing him softly, cupping josh's cheek .

"i'm sorry" tyler whispered as he pulled away and josh blinked.

"f-for what?" he asked confused and tyler sighed.

"i'm sorry you can't see what i see" he said making josh's brows furrow in confusion.

"i'm sorry you can't see how absolutely ravishing you are" tyler started , shushing josh as he tried to speak. "don't take josh, just listen" he said placing a finger over josh's lips.

"i'm sorry you can't see how perfect you are. how you're eyes scrunch up when you laugh and how they will with passion and childlike wonder when you find out something new, when you get all excited because you passed, or maybe just read a paragraph from that book we're reading or how your tongue pokes out when you're writing a essay or a story and how your little huffs of frustration when you spell b as d but then i praise you and tell you it's okay and your cheeks turn that shade of pink that i absolutely adore" tyler said with a soft smile sitting down on the hospital bed with him.

"tyler-" josh started but tyler stopped him. "not done yet babe" he said.

"i even love when you cry and break down because i know that you're gonna get back up because throughout everything that's happened to you, you still manage to amaze me whether it be reading a essay in front of the class or even just telling me about the book you just found and maybe wanna start reading soon, when you tell me when you're sad and i manage to get that beautiful smile back on you're precious face, when i hold you when you're sad and panicking i love all those moments, wanna know why josh?" he asked softly and josh nodded blushing lightly as tyler sat in his lap, cupping his face.

"it's cause i love you josh"

josh eyes widened lightly as tyler's lips fell onto his, it wasn't like their other kisses that were short, or lustful.

it was a new emotion, it was...it was passionate.

as cliché as it sounds, josh felt the butterflies in his chest but in reality his heart was beating faster and faster.

tyler pulled away and looked josh in the eyes.

"i- i love you too tyler" josh replied softly and tyler smiled softly.
