Your POV

I was walking home from school, holding my backpack straps in hand. I was quietly humming to myself and titling my head side to side with the beat.

As I was walking I decided to text Marco.

(Y/n): Hey Marco! Just wanted to say hi! Or, hey... I was thinking about you and didn't see you last period.. um, yeah! Again, just wanted to say hi! Love ya!

I then pressed send and slipped my phone into my pocket.

I then stopped abruptly.

"LOVE YA!?" I exclaimed out loud. I face palmed and checked my phone. I nodded. "Yup, that differently says 'Love ya.'." I deep sighed and heard rusting in the bushes.

I turned around sharply.

"Hello? Anyone there?" I asked. I then turned to my right and heard quiet talking.

I walked up to the sound and saw Marco, Janna and Jackie.

I groaned. "Ugh, what are you going do here?" I asked them.

"Checking Marco's phone and seeing what you texted him!" Janna smiled.

I was taken back.

Did she just say she's checking Marco's to see what I texted him!?

I looked at Marco and saw that he had an apologetic look on his face. I smiled weakly but then turned my attention to Janna and Jackie.

I snatched Marco's phone.

"No." I said.

"What do you mean, no?" She asks.

"I mean you are not snooping into Marco's phone to see what I texted him." I said crossing my arms.

"For your information, we are not snooping!" Jackie said. I rolled my eyes. "Did Marco give you his phone?" I asked. They shook their heads.

"Janna snatched it."

"Then you are snooping." I then gave the phone next to Marco.

"Some friends you are. Who the heck steals someone's phone!?"

"We only did it because you sent him a text!"

"So you're meaning to tell me that you saw Marco's phone buzz, he didn't read it obviously, snatched it out of his hands so you could read it for yourself?!" I exclaimed. They nodded.

"Seems like!" I groaned. "Guys! Do you know how wrong that is? That's invasion of personal space, which apparently you guys don't know about! On top of that, you did it to Marco! You know how he feels about certain things. Yes, he lives with Star and probably goes through this everyday but that doesn't mean you should do it to him!"

I then grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him next to me.

"We, are no longer friends." I said to Janna and Jackie.

"With Marco? He didn't do anything!" I nodded. "I know, I am no longer friends with you two. I'm not friends with people who snatches phones and reads other peoples text messages!"

I then took Marco and we walked away from the two.

"Don't you think you were a little harsh on them?" Marco asks. I shook my head. "I dunno. Why were you guys spying on me in the bushes?" He blushed. "Okay, nevermind."

We then stopped at a bench close to a bus stop.

"Okay, maybe I was a little harsh on them. I was just so fed up that they were about to invade your space and read your text messages.." I trailed off.

He then pulled out his phone and read the text message I sent him.

He blushed harder.

"I know, I messed. I said 'Love ya.' I'm sorry if you don't feel the same way, it's just, I was so caught up--"

I was caught off by him grabbing me by the waist.

"M-Marco?" I said while blushing.

He chuckled at my reaction.

"You like me don't you?" I nodded slowly. He smirked. "I like you too."

He then kissed me and pulled me closer to him. I was beet red and widened eyes. I eventually closed my eyes and kissed back. We were so in the moment we forgot we were in public.

We both pulled away.

"Well, dang Marco Diaz." He chuckled.

"Surprised you?" I nodded.

"Considered me surprised.."
