Kit x Jax/Backstage/Part 1
Kit's POV
I was in the music room recording some samples for my next album when I was interrupted by an annoying boy. "Heya Kit!" He said. I looked at the boy with dead eyes. He tried to read me. I know he did. It didn't work though. No matter how hard he tries he couldn't break this wall. "What do you want Jax?" I asked putting my headphones around my neck. "I need something." I looked up from my laptop.
"And that is?" "It's Bianca's and I's anniversary and I wanted to know if you could make a song for her!" I stared at the wall. Did he really just ask me to make a song for his girlfriend!? I slammed my laptop shut. "Why don't you find someone else to make a song for your girlfriend." I packed my things and headed to the door but was stopped.
"Yo Kit, are you okay?" He asked me. "Don't talk to me." I walked off. I found a quiet little hallway to finish my work. I was yet again, interrupted by a boy. "Kit, I saw what happened in there." Myles said. "No, you didn't. You saw nothing and you will say nothing." He chuckled. "Kit, Jax may not be able to read you but I can. Why can't you just tell him about your feelings?" He asked me.
"Because they're not there. I have no feelings for Jax!" I exclaimed. I got glares and looks from people. I shot them a look back and they continued about their day. "You tone in your voice says otherwise." He smirked. "Just. I'll see you at lunch." I got up again and walked to class. "Hey Kit! Your making a song for the dance group right?" Julie asked me. I nodded my head. "Yeah why?"
"Can you make it more contemporary? We're trying to do a new style of dance." I mentally rolled my eyes but smiled. "Sure. Why not." "Yay!" She gave me a hug and squealed off into the distance.
-Time Skip-
Finally! It was time for lunch. No more interruptions, annoying people trying to have me make a song for their girlfriend. I still don't know why I acted that way though. A couple days ago I'll be more than happy to but now, I'm a bit annoyed. "So, your feelings for Jax 101." Myles said sitting beside me. "You know for a guy who never talks, you sure do butt into people's business." He chuckled and shrugged.
"Well, what can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic." I rolled my eyes. "Okay, what if a friend of mine haves feelings for Jax. What would I-she say?" He chuckled. "Your way to complex for one of these excuses." He told me. I sighed. "I know I'm just, embarrassed about it." He turned to me. "Step one is to admit to someone or yourself that you have feelings for Jax."
"But I don't!" I exclaimed. "Yeah kid, you do." Alya said sitting next to me. "Ugh, no I don't." I whined. I paced my head on the table. I can tell Alya and Myles were smiling at each other. "Stop smiling. Your embarrassing yourselves." They chuckled. "Come on. Just admit it to Alya. She already knows." I raised my head up. I looked at Alya and Myles. I took a deep breath.
"I have feelings for Jax."
