Sydney came to the conclusion that she loved flying alone. There was nothing wrong with flying with Axl, she loved that he was always right by her side, but sometimes it felt nice to be alone with her thoughts.

Something weird about the blonde was that she had always loved to be alone. The only odd factor in that equation was that she was as extroverted as they came. Sydney loved being surrounded by people; talking to them, listening to their stories, even just looking at the right people made her day better. So, why had she always loved to be by herself?

There was just something about being wrapped up in her own bubble, bursting with thoughts and emotions and feelings, that felt wonderful, in the blonde's eyes at least.

She couldn't be alone for too long- her skin would crawl for human touch, her brain craving someone to talk to- but every once in a while, it was nice to be unaccompanied.

So, the nearly five hours on a plane that she had all to herself felt heavenly. She knew she'd need that time once she got to the convention.

San Diego Comic Con. She'd wanted to go ever since the show had begun. She'd been waiting for half a decade to be able to join her castmates. For the first few years, she hadn't been old enough, and last year she'd been filming "Invisible Adventures" with Thea, but now. Now, she could go.

She could finally end her bitterness at Chandler when he'd once again remind her that he'd gone already. They'd both been to the New York Comic Con a couple times, and obviously Walker Stalker, but there was something special, something a bit bigger about SDCC.

When she landed, she was rushed out of the airport and into a car that would take her to the hotel the cast was staying in. The plan was for her to get in when everyone was at the convention and stay there for the whole afternoon, only leaving her room on the day of the panel. She wouldn't meet any of the cast until the panel- something she had requested, having gone to great lengths to make Chandler think she wasn't going.

She had given the excuse that she had to work on her album, posted on social media she couldn't go, and even cried when she'd taken him to the airport. It had taken everything she had not to break, but she'd managed- Acting skills came in handy, she guessed.

The next morning, after a very boring evening of binge-watching Teen Wolf and staying off of social media, the blonde finally got styled and led out of her hotel room.

She was able to be led backstage as the 'Walking Dead' panel began without being spotted, and waited, hearing the fans clap as cast members start talking. But her nerves only start up when she hears Chris start her introduction. That's when her hands start shaking and her heart thumps loudly in her ears. Sydney's sure the people around her can hear it too, but her mind's elsewhere.

"So, Lauren, what about you? What's your favorite relationship on the show?" She hears him ask, his voice booming from the microphone.

Sydney bites back a smile as Lauren's magnified voice fills the room, trying to keep herself from jumping up and down with excitement. "Well, can it be a platonic relationship?" The older actress questions back, her smile evident in her voice. Once Chris chuckles and gives her a small 'Sure, why not?', she continues, her accent showing through.

"Because, the obvious answer would be Glenn." She has to stop due to clapping, and she giggles softly before resuming talking. "But, I feel like the most unexpected one would have to be Casey." Once again, clapping ensues, and Sydney has to stop herself from smiling too wide. "They just- They've become sort of family to each other, along with Glenn. They're extremely close and it took them a while to develop that relationship. I think neither of them was expecting it to happen, they didn't think they'd be that close, but it just happened. She's sort of a daughter to Maggie and Glenn, and they're very dear to each other." She concludes. "Actually, fun fact, Sydney's contact name for me is 'mummy'."

Laughter runs through the room, and Sydney hears Chris speak up. "Really? Steven, does she hav-" He's cut off by the actor nodding.

"Yeah, yeah, she showed me. It's 'dad' and then a middle finger emoji." He says, chuckling.

"Wow. Very, uh, very blunt, isn't she?" Chris questions as the audience chortles, the whole ordeal making Sydney blush.

"Extremely." Andrew butts in. "She once- She once gave me a ten minutes speech on why Rick should've been with his family after Lori died instead of 'going nuts in a basement when his son needed him'. She was like four feet tall at the time and she ripped me a new one."

"Yeah, she was really sad she couldn't make it today, she really wanted to be here," Chris explains, the crowd delving into various sounds of disapproval and disappointment, the blonde's heart swelling from the appreciation.

"Well, actually-" Lauren starts with a tentative tone, making some fans starts cheering. The actress stops, laughing. "Actually, we might have a little surprise."

And that's her cue.

Sydney barely feels her legs, smoothening her hands on her pink velvet dress before stepping onstage. She silently thanks god for her ability to walk in heels given her legs feel nonexistent as she steps forward. She waves as the lights hit her face, making her smile brighten as she moves further into the room. Her ears are filled with the cheering, making her giggle as she looks onto the crowd, seeing it stretch and stretch.

She goes to take her seat whilst the crowd still screams, and she realizes that no matter how loud she had prepared herself for them to be, they'd probably surpassed it. "Well, this is a lot of people, by the Angel." She hears herself say, her voice boosted up. A slight chuckle runs through the room.

"Syd, first con, how's it feel?" Chris asks her, the girl having to lean back to see him, given the huge line of people in front of her.

"Uh, my Twitter's probably blowing up right now," She starts off, giggling. "Since I told everyone I wasn't coming. Sorry." She apologizes, sarcastically wincing as she stares out onto the crowd.

"Was I included in that apology, or..?" Chandler speaks up, making the girl laugh, running her hands through her hair as she smirks lightly. "Did- You did this on purpose, of course." He says, burying his face in his hand as the blonde giggles.

"What, she didn't tell you she was-" Chris asks, obviously amused as he sips his water bottle.

"Nope." Sydney laughs, popping the p in the word as she bites down her laughter.

"Oh, you don't understand, she cried so hard. Like, at the airport. Jesus, Syd, you're evil." He says, though his face shows his bemusement.

Andrew's laughter cuts through the room as he leans into the mic. "Oh, Sydney, give the boy a hug, you made him feel bad." He says, making the blonde bite down on her bottom lip, considering it.

"You need a hug, honey?" She asks, visibly trying not to chuckle when Norman yells a 'YES' out. She places a solemn and ashamed look on her face, getting up and walking behind everyone until she gets to him. There, the blonde wraps her arms loosely around his neck from behind as he turns around to face her.

She can hear cameras snapping and Andrew, Norman have begun oohing in annoying, high pitched voices, Lauren letting a small "Aw!" escape. Sydney presses a kiss to Chandler's cheek and he leans away from the mic, whispering in her ear. "You totally owe me, now."

The girl lets out a small chuckle, leaning in, her voice hushed as she tilts her head, her blonde ringlets spilling over his shoulder. "I'll make it up to you." She mutters before going back to her seat.

"Well, that was adorable. Though, we do have a panel to keep up with, so let's start with the fan questions!"
