Kari hummed softly as she stared outside her terrace. The fourteen year old girl had a curious look on her face. She held up her camera and took a picture of the Ferris wheel glowing in the brillant light of the sunrise.

The young girl sighed happily as she stared down at the screen of her camera. "Perfect" she announced. "This should be great for my photography class."

Gatomon yawned softly as she walked outside to the balcony. The feline batted her brillant blue eyes. "Kari, what are you doing up so early?"

Kari turned on her heels of her shoes and smiled down at her partner digimon. "Well, i needed to take a picture for my class. It's a project about time. And i wanted to take pictures of my natural day of life."

Gatomon hopped up on the railing. "Hmm, maybe we can take a picture together in the digital world later."

Kari grinned at the idea and nodded her head. "That sounds like a lovely idea-" kari gasped as her vision was suddenly filled with pink light. A sudden pain jolted through her head. And a woman's voice whispered her name. "Kari"

Just as soon as the pain started. The pain subsided, and she slowly placed her hand over forehead. "What was that?" She asked softly.

"Is everything alright?"

Kari frowned as she peered over at her partner. "I'm not really sure... I thought i heard someone calling my name. Her vision was filled with pink light."

Gatomon tilted her head slightly. "That sounds really weird...are you sure you should be going to school today."

"Yeah, i have to go to school today. I have to make sure i'm there just in case if a dark spiral pops in the digital world as well."

"Well, alright..."

(Pearls cofee Corner)

"T.K." A twenty year woman called out. The blonde stood behind the counter, and she was holding out a cup of freshly brewed coffee.

T.K. stood up from a table he was sitting at and made his way over to her. "Thank you so much." The boy placed some change in the tip jar and took the coffee.

"It's my pleasure"

T.K. hummed softly to himself as he looked over the blonde. "You look familiar. Have i ever met you before."

The girl raised her eyebrow as she shook her head. "I don't think you and i have ever met before."

"Wait, are you related to Jeremy Heinz?"

"Why yes, i am . I'm his older sister. My name is Lisa Heinz. It's a pleasure to meet one of his friends."

"Likewise. I really don't have that much time to talk, unfortunately. I need to make sure i make it to school on time."

"It's quite alright. I hope you have a good day at school. Tell my little brother that he needs to stay out of trouble."

T.K. chuckled. "Don't worry. I will keep an eye out for you -" T.K. gasped as suddenly his vision filled with yellow light. And a pain crossed his mind. A woman's voice whispered in his head. "Takeru"

As she soon as the pain started. It subsided. T.K. placed a hand on his forehead, and he shook his head softly. "What was that?"

"Are you okay?" Lisa asked worriedly.

"Yeah, i'm fine... I'll talk to you later."

(Digital world)

Ken smirked to himself as he was sitting in front of the computer screen. Typing away as he was processing code quickly.

"Let's see... just a few simple modifications." He soon began to laugh as his finished design was shown on his screen before him. "Perfect."

(Middle school, computer classroom)

Patamon stuck his head out from the supply closet. "The classroom is empty. I think it's safe to come out now!"

"Hold on, I'm still taking a spelling test." Gatomon announced

The digimon were trying to make their way out from the closet.

"Please move out of the way. I haven't gotten a chance to explore the classroom yet." Chicchimon whined.

"Shh, I hear somebody coming!" Patamon hushed the others. As the sounds of footsteps grew closer.

DemiVeemon sniffed the air. "Smells like Davis!"

At that moment, Davis was opening up the door to the computer classroom. "Are you saying I stink?"

DemiVeemon threw his stubby little arms in the air. "It is Davis!" He cheered as he raced over to greet him.

"DemiVeemon! Did you guys have a good day at school?"

Jeremy crossed his arms over his chest as he peered over at his friend. "Did you sleep through class again."

Davis fakes laugh

"Ha ha. You're very funny, Heinz. And if you want to know Jeremy. Yes, I did sleep during class. Who could stay awake in math class?

"I can. Right now, I have an A in my math class. You just have to push yourself. That's what my math teacher, Mr. Flor taught me. He really changed my perspective as a student, and I started to care about school."

Poromon flew between them to catch their attention. "Where's Yolei?"

"And Cody, too!" Upamon hopped up on the table.

"I would like to know where my pal Simon is." Chicchimon spoke up.

Kari waved their worries away. "Don't worry about it. Those three are on their way over!"

Davis turned his head over to the door as he heard the doorknob jiggled.

"I heard someone now!"

"Right on, que." Jeremy chuckled as Simon, T.K. and Yolei walked into the room.

Simon held his gym bag over his shoulder. His hair was slightly soaked from swimming practice.

While Yolei was carrying bags of groceries.

"Sorry I'm late. I brought goodies from my family's convenience store."

"And i had swimming practice. That went a little longer than usual."

Jeremy shook his head. "Don't worr,  guys. Plus Great snacks. Definitely would be great for the digimon.

TK peered over to Yolei. "Good idea! In-Training Digimon are bottomless pits!"

Davis chuckled. "If my family owned a convenience store, I"d eat candy all day until my teeth fell out!"

Simon snickered. "If you're parents owned a store. They would quickly go out of business."

Davis rolled his eyes.

Yolei shook her head as she sat down on a table. "It's not that glamorous. I have to pay for everything I eat, even when I work there. But, the job comes with a great pension plan!"

Jeremy raised an eyebrow. "Are there any job openings?"

Simon raised a hand. "I definitely wouldn't mind working their myself. I have a lot of free time."

"Sorry, guys. It's a family owned company. Only my siblings, my parents and I work there."

The digimon gathered around Yolei as she was starting to lay her many purchases across the table.

"Geez Yolei, you didn't have to go out and buy this much stuff. We're just a small group of friends with digimon. Not a small army." Jeremy teased.

Yolei chuckled a long with him. "I know you, dork. But i felt like it was at least that i could do. We should all be on full stomachs. If we want to make sure we can face the digimon emperor."

Demiveemon lifted himself on the table and examined a juice packet. Staring at it in wonder.

"What is it?"

"Can we eat it? I'm hungry!" Poromon asked puzzled

Patamon chuckled as he lifted the packet to his lips. "Of course you can, watch me!"

Patamon takes a sip. Making the in training digimon "ooo" in wonder.

Upaamon cheeres as he dove into the bag. "The buffet is now open!"

Upamon pulls out a bag of chips and starts to eat the chips. "This is the best thing I've ever eaten in my life! All two days of it!"

DemiVeemon threw his arms into the air. "Me too!"

Chicchimon took a sniff of a tuna melf. "Ooo, what's this? It smells delightful."

Simon chuckled and picked up his partner. Holding him in his arms as he held up the melt to his beak. "It's a tuna melt, little buddy. It's really great."

Chicchimon took a few nibbles, and his eyes grew wide. "This is the greatest thing I've ever tried." He chirped.

Poromon peered over at Chichimon, seeming to be interested in his own melt. Trying to lift it up with his wings. "Oh It's hot! Owww! Owww!"

"Careful Poromon. It was just freshly baked." Yolei warned.

Gatomon shook her head. "I hope my first litter doesn't act like this." She murmors as she places a gloved hand on her cheek.

Jeremy examined the goddies himself and picked up a bag of Doritos. Opening the bag with the welcoming sound of a puff of air. "Well, this might take care of my hunger for a while."

Davis grinned as he peered over at Yolei. As she made her way to sit down in front of the computer. "I'm done just waiting around. Let's see if the gate's open!"

Yolei held her hand up. "It's open!" She held her thumb up.

"Great! Let's go to the digital world!"

Davis and the others all nodded to one another as each of them pulled out their digivices.

Kari held up a hand to stop anyone from making a move to go through the gate. "Wait a minute, guys! We can't go yet. We have to wait for Cody."

Davis deadpan as his hand fell to his waist. "Cody? What's taking him so long?"

Yolei rubbed the back of her neck. "He's still in the lunch room. The last time I checked, he was still chewing the same carrot 50 times!"

[in the lunchroom]

Cody shifted a slice of tomato around on his tray. "I'm so stuffed! I just have one more tomato to eat."

A teacher stood over him with a worried look. She placed a hand on his shoulder and reassuringly said. "You don't have to eat every bite, Cody."

"You should never throw away food unless it smells bad. That's what my father used to say before he passed away."

"Oh, I see..."

[back in the computer lab)

Davis grumbled as he tapped his foot on the ground. "Does he know we're waiting? He's holding us up!"

Chicchimon landed on top of Davis' head. "Patience is a virtue. Good things happen to those who wait."

Davis stared blankly up at the bird digimon that landed on top of his head.

Just be patient, Davis. Cody will be here in no time. There really is no point in rushing head-on in anything." Jeremy pointed out.

"I am patient! Patience is my middle name!"

T.K. stared out the window as memories of what occurred this morning flashed in his mind. That woman's voice whispered in his ear. Who was she? And what did she want with him? Was she from the digital world?

"Is something bothering you T.K.?" Patamon asked with concern.

T.K. rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, yeah." He answered truthfully.

"What happened, amigo?" Simon asked, puzzled as he sat down on the tabletop.

"Well, this morning, i had stopped by the coffee corner. To pick myself up a cup of coffee. And while i was there. A yellow flash of light covered my eyes... and i heard this woman calling my name."

"Creepy" Yolei whispered as she shivered.

Kari's eyes grew wide as she heard this news. "No way. I had the same thing happen to me this morning. However, i saw a flash of pink light."

Jeremy crossed his arms over his chest. "What do you think this all means? Is it going to happen to the rest of us?" He thought out loud. "Or...is this something that only pertains you and your friends."

T.K. shook his head. "We have no idea. We should probably should ask the others later. If they heard voices as well."

Kari nodded to agree with him.

Yolei hummed softly. "Why don't we watch some TV to keep our minds at ease?"

"Yeah! Let's see what's on!"

An anchorwoman showed up on the television screen. She was a thiry year old woman with long blonde hair. "We interrupt this broadcast to bring you the latest story."

"Awww!" Davis groaned

"The results are in from the national computer programming contest are in and the winner is boy genius, Ken Ichijouji!"

Sounds of people cheering and clapping could be heard. As Ken stood up on stage and waved to the crowd. He held a microphone to his lips.

"There were many well-deserving geniuses out there, and I am honored that the judges chose me to receive the top prize."

Jeremy placed a hand to his chin. "Hmm... that kid looks familiar..."

Simon raised an eyebrow. "I mean, the kid is pratically on the news all the time. Just last week, he was praised for saving an elderly woman's cat."

The Newscaster smiled warmly. "Let's go live to the site of the contest with our feild reporter, Jerry Rivera. Jerry?"

"Thanks, Jackie! Young Ken wow-ed the judges by creating a computer program that actually brushes your teeth for you. The rumor is that this year, he's planning something with floss, too. I can't wait. Back to you, Jackie."

"Ken's talents include being able to play one game of chess while everyone watches. Just last week, he actually balanced the world's biggest checkbook! And that's not all! He's a champion in Judo and a star on the state soccer team. And girls, he's single!"

"He's almost as good as I am!" David announced

Jeremy and Simon chuckled sofy in unison. "Yeah... maybe in your dreams." Simon teased as he patted him on the shoulder.

"Hey!"

"Now, let's talk to the proud parents of this genius, Mr. and Mrs. Ichijouji!" Jackie announced with a cheerful smile. "What are some of the advantages to being the parent to one of the most brilliant children in the world?""

Mrs. Ichijouji placed her hands together. "Oh, he's great in the kitchen. He invented dishes that clean themselves!"

Mr. Ichijouji nodded. "Like father, like son! I once guessed how many jelly beans were in a pickle jar!"

Cody walked into the computer room and stared up at the television. "I heard this kid is so smart that one time, he gave his teachers homework."

Jeremy crossed his arms over his chest. "I wished I could do that..." he grumbled. Thinking about how much homework he had to do when he made it back home.

"Cody? When did you get here?" Kari asked

"About a minute ago."

"Wow, i didn't even hear the door open." Simon marveled in surprise.

TK snapped his fingers.  "Hey, maybe Ken knows how to defeat the emperor!"

Yolei scoofed as she peered over at the blonde. "Hmm. I know more about the digital world than that stupid kid!"

Davis gestured to the telvision. "He may be stupid, but he's still a genius!"

Gatomon hopped onto her partner's shoulder. "Hey Kari?"

"Hmm?"

Patamon, along with the other in training level digimon, surronded the computer screen. All of them had looks of eagerness shown on their faces. "We're ready to go back to the digital world now!"

TK returned their eager smile. "All present and accounted for!"

Yolei made her way over to the computer. "The gate's open!"

Davis held out his digivice. "Well, then let's go!"

We got this! Let's save the digital world!" Jeremy exclaimed

"Yeah! Enough of this talk about geniuses!" Yolei agreed

Everyone pulled out their digivices.

Davis digivice started to glow along with the others. "Next stop, the digital world!"

(Elsewhere)

Ken is walking down the street. The blue haired boy had his hands in his pocket.

A girl peered up at her mother as she pointed over at him. "Isn't that the boy genius?"

A small little Chihuahua walked towards the blue haired boy and sniffed at his feet. His small peggy little tail wagging exicitedly.

"Beat it, you maingy little mutt. Or I'll call the pound!" He snapped

The chihuahua whimpered as it ran off. His ears droping down as it made its way quickly down the street.

Ken laughed as he watched it sprint down the street.

Ken stopped laughing as he noticed a girl staring at him. She was around his age. She had short pink hair. Intelligent gray eyes, that if he believed that the greek gods existed. He would've sworn that she was the goddess of wisdom, Athena herself.

The girl wore a simple light blue blouse, tan slacks, and white sneakers. But their were feirceness in her eyes. He could tell that she was judging him. But who cared what one person would think of him.

According to the news. He was the sweetest guy in Japan. It would have to take more than one girl. To change his outlook on people.

The girl shook her head as she turned on the heels of her shoes and faded from sight.

Ken rolled his eyes as he continued on his way home.

Once inside his apartment. His mother voice greeted him as he opened and closed the door.

"Oh, Ken? You're home? I'm going to work now, I'll just leave your snacks on the table. I bought a new label maker today. I just can't stop using it. I even labeled the toilet!"

Ken scoffed as he heard his mother's excitement. She was so incompetent. So much like other humans. Soon, he wouldn't have to worry about people like her. Soon, he could create his own world in the digital world and finally leave this crummy world behind.

Ken made his way to his room and closed the door behind him.

Mrs. Ichijouji  frowned softly as she watched her son. Ken sure spends a lot of time alone in his room.

(In the digital world)

The digimon emperor cackled as he rode on the back of a Monochromon. He was currently on chase of some digimon that he hopped to capture.

"There's no use running away from me! I'm the boggie man!"

"Ahh!!" An Elecmon cried as he continued to run through the woods. Trying to sprint as fast as his legs would carry him.

"Ooh, a chase. Interesting."

The digimon emperor whistled to signal a Tuskmon to step out in front of Elecmon. To block off his path.

"Why, thank you, Tuskmon. For helping me catch this little pest."

Elecmon's screams as he is captured by Tuskmon. Lifted up by his back leg straight up into the air.

Digimon Emperor snickered. "It's no fun if I catch you right away. But all ends with this little game. " He threw a black collar which latched onto the rookie digimon neck. Which immediately possessed him.

Three Gotsumon were watching these events from the safety of some subrage. All three had looks of horror running across their faces.

"Oh! He's caught another digimon!" One Gotsumon whimpered in fear.

"They all change once he puts those dark rings on them!" The middle one stated.

"If he thinks he's going to catch us, he's got rocks in his head!" The one on the right exclaimed as he crossed his arms over his chest.

Then again, so do we! We've got to run!" The middle one pleaded

"We can't abandon our friend, Elecmon!" The right one gasped as his attention turned back to his friends. His fear only grew as he noticed that the two of them were now wearing dark rings of their own.

His two friends tackled him to the ground. As he heard the digimon emperor's laughter over his screams. He threw a dark ring at him. Which suddenly made his vision grow black.

Wormmon watched the events in front of him with a sad look. The insect based digimon had tears shaking in his bright eyes. "Master? Is this really the kind of thing that makes you happy?"

[Transfer to the digital world)

Davis grinned from ear to ear. As him and his friends stood once again in the digital world. "We're back!"

Yolei rolled her eyes. "You do know that you don't have to shout that every time we come back, right?"

"I know, but I'm always excited for our next adventure in the digital world."

"He may be growing out of  adolescence, but he is still a young child at heart." Simon chuckled.

Before any of them could respond. The digivices all started to go off in unison.

Hyokkomon stared up at Simon with a puzzled look. "Why is your device making such a horrible screech?"

Kari peered down at her digivice. "What's this?"

Cody eyes widen. "Another digiegg!"

"It's like an Easter egg hunt, mi amigos."

Veemon tilted his head slightly. "Where is it?"

"The digivice says it's not far from here!" Cody pointed off further in the woods.

Davis scratched the back of his head. Not truly comprehended. "More digieggs? We already have ours."

Simon placed a hand on his forehead. "Dude. You do realize that Jeremy hasn't met his digimon partner yet. It could be his digiamour."

Jeremy nodded to agree with him.  "The more digieggs we have. The stronger we can all become."

"Who's are they?" Yolei asked as they all started to follow their digivices to the unknown location.

"We'll never know until we look."

Davis playfully saluted towards her. "I'll do anything you want, Kari!"

*Watching the group of digidestined. The digimon emperor scowled as they made their way through the woods.
"It's those kids again! I've had enough! They think they can walk into my world without a care in the world."

He slammed his fist against his control pannel. "They had their turn in the digital world!" He screamed. "It's my turn! And none of them will stop me. I will make this world my own!"

As Davis and his friends continued their tredge through the woods. The trees above their heads started to curl in on them.

"It's getting pretty dark in these woods." Davis announced aloud. He made his way forward and grabbed Kari's hand. "Here, Kari, I'll hold your hand so you don't get scared!"

Kari let his hand go and shook her head. "I'm not scared."

"Oof man. That is truly bad, man. You seriously have no game. You have to be smoother than that. If you ever plan to end up with a mujeres hermosa." (Beautiful woman)

Davis grumbled as he crossed his arms over his chest. " I do have game. You just haven't seen me in action."

Jeremy patted the younger guy on the shoulder. "It just takes time. Maybe try not to push too hard." He suggested.

"Well, whatever. I just got Kari to hold my hand now." Davis reached out to feel a grip of someone's else hand. Not realizing that Kari was no longer walking beside him.

"And it's not HER hand, it's MINE!" T.k.  grumbled as he let go of Davis' hand.

"Oh, sorry, TJ."

Jeremy chuckled under his breath. "Real smooth."

"And THAT'S not his name. It's TK!" Kari snapped.

Davis rolled his eyes as he held an index finger to his lips. "Whatever. Shh! I'm getting something. It says it's right over there." Davis pointed off into the distance. Just as the digimon emperor walked out in front of him.

Simon eyes grew wide as he bawled his fists. "It's the digimon emperor!"

Hyokkomon pulled his sword out and held it out in his tiny wing like hands. "What is he doing here?"

"I would like to know the same question. You all are stepping upon private property. I would like you all to leave the premises now."

Yolei stood her ground. "Watch out!"

"I'll get you! Once and for all!"

"Wait for me!" Jeremy calls after Davis

Davis and Jeremy ran into him, but the two of them ran right through him.

"It's just an illusion! He's not really there!" T.K. pointed out.

Hyokkomon scanned the woods. Spotting a camera that was emitting the hologram. "Hmm...he probably is close."

"What are you doing, sneaking into the digital world? What do you think this is, a movie theatre?"

Cody raised an eyebrow as he looked around at his friends. "What's he talking about?"

Simon shrugged. "Your guess is just as good as mine."

Digimon Emperor gritted his teeth. "We all know normal kids aren't allowed in the digital world. Only the digidestined are!"

Davis smirked as he presented his blue digivice to him. "We are the digidestined, wonder boy!"

"Yeah, and you're the villain in this story. " Jeremy agreed with him.

"You're wrong! That's physically impossible! I am the hero I will bring the digital world in a new age!"

"Why is that impossible?" T.k. asked

Yeah! Why can't we be?" Kari narrowed her eyes as she stood by T.K.'s side

"It's simple. Based on the laws of physics, I have determined that only perfect human beings can be digidestined. And, of course, I am the only perfect human being."

Davis crossed his arms over his chest. "Oh yeah, big shot? Well, what about Kari? Oh, no!"

Jeremy shook his head. "No one is perfect, you big  Phony! Everyone is equally the same!

Digimon Emperor:l gritted his teeth. "You are intruders in a place you don't belong! You are hereby ordered to evacuate the premises without further notice!"

"The landlord told my uncle the same thing once!" Davis sweat dropped.

"We have just as much right to be here as you!" T.K. snapped.

"This world and everything in it belong to me, now all of you, GET OUT!"

Simon shook his head. "You will have to go right through us. I will fight back with everything I have. "

Yolei nodded to agree with him. "Try and make us!"

Digimon Emperor growled. "Why does everybody question my authority? Does it always have to turn into a big production?" He snapped his fingers. "Get em, Tyrannomon!"

A Tyrannomon came barrelling forward. His eyes narrowed as he made his way towards the small group.

"He's one of the most powerful Digimon's. His blaze blast attack incinerates him enemies."

"Blaze blast!"

A blast of fire flew towards Davis and his friends. Making all of them flee for cover.

"Watch out!" Kari cried out. As the ball of fire slammed full force into the trees behind them. Setting the trees ablaze.

"Is that all you've got?" Davis asked

"Davis, shut up, bro! He nearly set the whole woods on fire!" Simon cried out to him.

Digimon Emperor narrowed his eyes.  "Hmmm!"

Veemon balled his fists. "Are you ready for me, Davis?"

"Yeah!" Davis held up his blue digivice. "Digi amour energize!"

"Veemon, armor digivolve to...Flamedramon: The fire of Courage!"

Digimon Emperor shook his head. "See, this is why I'm a genius, and you're not. You keep using the same attacks while I keep coming up with new ones."

"I've had enough of your babbling! Let's get to it!"

"Fine, have it your way!"

Simon held out his brown digivice. "Let's kick it up, Hyokkomon!"

"On it!" The bird digimon spread his wings.

"Digi amour energize!"

"Hyokkomon digi amour energize too...Caladrimon the seer of forgiveness!"

Flamedramon and Caladrimon both started to fight Tyrannomon. The blue dragon digimon stays close to him. To slash with his claws. While Caladrimon stayed up in the air. To send blades of holy energy down from above.

"Fire Rocket!"

"Caliber screech!"

Tyrannomon blocks the two attacks, a smirk playing on his lips.

The Digimon Emperor laughs loudly at the two armored digimon attempts from attacked the controlled digimon.

"No way! He blocked it!" Davis shouted in surprise.

Jeremy shook his head. "This guy is definitely different from any digimon we have faced before."

Hawkmon turned his head over to the lavender haired girl. "Now, Yolei?"

Yolei nodded as she held up her red digivice. "Hmm! DIGIARMOUR ENERGIZE!" Purple light admitted from her digivice.

"Hawkmon, Armor Digivolve to...Flybeemon the fighter of knowledge!"

"Blaze blast!"

Flybeemon barrel rolled in the air to avoid the attack. "Fly spark!"

"You think you can beat me with a little addition? How do you like multiplication?"

The digimon emperor smirks as 4 more Tyrannomon appear behind him.

"How'd he do that?" Davis asked in shock.

Jeremy eyes widden. "Guys... I don't want to be the guy who bears bad news. But Tyrannomon has more friends."

"The more, the merrier!"

"There are 5 of them!" Yolei pointed out

Simon barred his teeth. "We have to think carefully if we want to win this fight."

Cody faced his partner digimon. "Ready, Armadillomon?"

"Ready when you are!"

Cody held out his yellow digivice. "Digi amour energize!"

"Armadillomon, armor digivolve to...Pyteramon the steel wings of love!"

Gatomon barred her fangs. "Why not let us digivolve so we can fight?"

"Yeah, what are you afraid of?" Patamon asked, narrowing his eyes.

"As long as I have this dark digivice, you'll never be able to digivolve. And you two are useless. I might as well destroy you both, first!" The digimon emperor showed off his black digivice.

Kari gasps as Tyrannonmon slashes at Patamon and Gatomon. Sending the two digimon slamming into a tree.

TK narrowed his eyes. "Leave them alone!"

Caladrimon flies towards the Tyrannomon that attacked them. He claws at the dinosaur's face.

"Hey! You're fighting us!"

Patamon groaned as he peered over at his friend. "I thought that cats were always supposed to land on their feet!"

"Oh, shut up." She grumbled .

Pyteramon appears from above the Tyrannomon's blaze blast.

"Hello boys! I think you've got some cavities that need filling!"

The armor digimon fired missles at the champion digimon.

The Tyrannomon the missles were aimed for. Swatted them away with a flick of his tail.

"That's not fair!" Davis cried out.

Digimon Emperor smirked. "Remember what they say: It's not how you play the game, it's whether you win or lose."

Cody gritted his teeth. "We don't stand a chance like this! We've got to go and try to find the other digieggs!"

Yolei worridly stared at the others. "But we don't know who it belongs to!"

"It doesn't matter! It's worth a try!" Davis exclaimed

"It's better than just waiting around here. For that loco to capture all of us."

Cody held out his digivice and started to run off in that direction.

"I'm getting something! This way!"

Kari waved towards Gatomon. "Gatomon, let's go look for the other digieggs!"

"Patamon, come this way!" Patamon nodded as he landed on T.K.'s head.

Jeremy quickly followed after the group of three. Not wanting to be anywhere close to the battle without a digimon.

Ptyeramon cawed as he flew down towards a Tyrannomon. "Open wide! Good!" He clawed at that dinosaurs head

Go back to the Stone Age! Holy feathers!" Caladrimon shouted.

"Fly spark!"

"Fire rocket!"

"Side winder!"

The four armored digimon fired their attacks towards the tyrannosaurus digimon.

The Digimon Emperor watched as the four humans ran off. "You can run, but you can't hide!"

Flamedramon jumped in front of a Tyrannomon. "Going somewhere? You'll have to go through me first to get to them."

Patamon narrowed his eyes. "Boom bubble!"

The attack bounced harmlessly off the champion digimon.

Jeremy barred his teeth. "This fight is really against us.:

"Patamon, it's no use! Run!" Gatomon called over to her friend.

Cody pointed out in front of them. "Let's hide in that cave." He suggested.  All of them ran inside. Each of them panting softly.

"Huh? What are those?"

In the far reaches of the cave. Two digieggs sat awaiting for them. Each one seems to glow with a strong aura.

Kari eyes grew wide. "The Digieggs!"

"Great! What do we do now? Sit around and wait for a new kids to come along so a new digimon will be born?" T.K. asked puzzled

"I mean, one of them could belong to Jeremy. " Kari suggested. Gesturing for the boy to try. Jeremy nodded and made his way forward. Trying to lift the white digiegg up. But it wouldn't budge. He tried the same with the other one but found the same result.

"Looks like i'm still without a partner." He grumbled.

TK looked puzzled. "So if they don't belong to Jeremy... then who. Wait...what are those symbols on the front of them?"

Kari gasped softly. "One of them is the crest of Light."

"Huh?"

"And the other one has the crest of Hope! Wow, come on!"

Kari and T.K. took a step forward to investigate the two digieggs.

"You're right!"

Gatomon hopped next to the digiegg of light. "Then these digieggs must belong to the two of you!"

Patamon nodded as he flew next to T.K. "Pick them up, you guys!"

TK peered down at the digiegg. "Yeah, but..."

"If you don't try, you'll never know!" Gatomon excalimed.

Kari worriedly stared at her partner digimon. "But we've already got our digimon."

"Just do it!"

TK nodded. "Gatomon's right!"

"Hmm."

Suddenly, within Kari's and T.K.'s digivices started to glow brightly. Making the two kids dive into their pockets to pull them out.

"The digivices are glowing!" T.k. said in shock.

The digivices morphed into the new model.

"These are the same digivices that the new kids have!"

"Yeah!"

T.K. and Kari placed their hands on the digieggs. And in unison, their eyes glew with the same energy from this morning.

(Kari)

Kari gasped as she found herself within a pink field of energy.

"W-where am i? Gatomon!? T.K.?" The brown haired girl peered around the space.

"This... didn't happen to the others. When they lifted up their digieggs. Or at least as far as i know."

A figure suddenly appeared in front of Kari. The figure was feminine. Wearing an elegant white cloak. Appearing to made of silk. Blond hair seems to drape from out of the hood. Yet the figure's face was concealed by the hood.

"Kari Kamiya. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Who...who are you?"

"My name is Gnoweemon. Long ago, when the dark masters were trying to take over the digital world. Gennai planned to call upon digidestineds from your world. Mega level digimon, like myself, stepped forward. Using our powers and our strength to create the crests that you and your friends use. I'm the creator of the Crest of Light."

Kari's eyes grew wide. "You were trying to talk to me this morning. What do you want with me?" She asked.

"Kari... you and your friend T.K. bare very powerful crest. Hebemon, the creator of the crest of hope. Most make sure that our crest doesn't fall into the wrong hands. In the future you and your friends will be put to the test. To make sure that the crest truly belongs to you."

"But T.K. and i have saved the human and digital world... Wouldn't that make us worthy enough."

"Yes...however you both were young children when that occurred. You both have aged since then. Both of you have grown and matured. You could be different people since then. We must make sure those crests are still in the right hands. That's why the armor of Hope and light will still go to you and T.K."

Before Kari could say anything else. The pink haze left her eyes. And she gasped as she found herself lifting the armor of light.

"Wait, Hebemon." T.K. gasped. Kari peered over at her friend and exchanged looks with him.

"Huh...are you two okay?" Jeremy asked with concern.

"Yeah... you both just stood there. As if you two were frozen."

"Yeah... we're fine. We will have to talk about what happened later."

T.K. nodded. "But for now. We have to help the others."

Kari and T.K. nodded and shouted in unison. "Digiamour energize!"

The amour in their hands glowed with brilliant energy.

"Patamon, armor digivolve to..." images of Angemon and MangaAngenon appeared behind Patamon as he was covered in holy energy. "Pegasusmon! Flying Hope!"

"Gatomon, armor digivolve to..." Gatomon was covered in a pink mist. As Angewomon appeared behind her.
"Nefertimon! The Angel of Light!"

"Gatomon and Patamon were able to armor digivolve!" Cody exclaimed.

"That was so amazing," Jeremy marveled as he stared between the two newly evovled digimon

Kari smiled warmly as she petted the top of Nerfertimon's head.  "Nefertimon, you're beautiful! But the best part is that now you can fly, we don't have to walk everywhere!"

"Well, don't get too excited. These wings aren't broken in yet."

"TK!" Pegasusmon spread his wings to show off his newly evovled form.

TK grinned from ear to ear. "Alright! My very own armor digimon!"

[back at the fight)

"Do you guys give up yet?" Ken grumbled. "I have more important matters to get to."

"Not by a long shot!" Simon growled

"Not a chance!" Davis agreed with his friend

Digimon Emperor smirks. "Look behind you. Where do you think you are going to run to?" Tyrannomon surrounds the humans and their partner digimon.

"Davis, we're here!" Cody shouted with the others behind him.

Yolei peered her head over her shoulder. "Huh? Cody?"

"And we brought the calvary." Jeremy chuckled

Jeremy noticed Veemon and the other digimon had dedigivovled from their armor forms. "Looks like we came back just in time."

"That's Pegasusmon! He's one wild horse! When he attacks with his Star Shower, his enermies will be blasted into outer space." Armidillomon informed.

Veemon pointed out the other armor digimon. "That's Nefertimon! She's a flying, fighting machine with nine lives. And, she's quite a shot when throwing those Rosetta Stones of hers!"

the tyeannomon all attack with blaze blast.

Nefertimon and Pegasusmon flew next to one another. As a golen rope formed around their golden bracelets.  "Golden Noose!"

The two of them started to knock down the Tyrannomons

"Star Shower!"

"Rosetta Stone!"

the attacks break the dark rings from the Tyrannomon

"Wow! Their dark rings disappeared!" Yolei pointed out

"Those two digimon are some powerful digimon." Jeremy grinned.

the Tyrannomon all go back to normal, and leave the area)

"Well, i'm glad that is all over. And the digimon emperor left with his tail in between his legs." Simon mummbled. Crossing his arms over his chest.

Kari smiled as she took a picture of the champion digimon walking away.  "I want to get a picture of those for my computer scrapbook."

"Well, it's time to go home." Jeremy announced to his younger friends.

Jeremy and the others transfer back to the computer room.

"These pictures turned out great! Except the Tyrannomon all have red eye. Oh, I forgot. They always have red eyes!" Kari was smiling at her photograph on her computer

"I'm so mad! Just wait until I get my hands on that Digimon Emperor!" Davis snarled.

Simon gritted his teeth. "He won't be pushing around for too much longer. Once Jeremy finds his partner digimon. We will definitely be a force to be recken with."

Kari peered over at her friend. "You'll defeat the Emperor, won't you, TK?"

Davis face palmed. "Ugh!!"

"I'm not sure, Kari, but we'll give it our best shot! But, we've never faced an enemy that was human before! How do we fight him?"

Cody placed a finger to his chin. "Actually, TK brings up a very interesting point we should all consider."

Davis raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? Well, what's that?"

"It's quite a little army we've put together so far. Almost all of us found our digimon, and they've been able to armor digivolve. Even Gatomon and Patamon were able to find a way to bypass that Digimon Emperor's dark digivice. But with all our powers combined, we still haven't been able to beat the Digimon Emperor in the Digital World. Yet we keep on forgetting that he's human."

Jeremy's eyes grew wide. As a look of regonization crossed his face. "That's geniuses, Cody."

TK tilted his head. "Wait, what? Yeah, but I don't get it. What's your point?"

"He means we have to fight differently!" Kari exclaimed.

"What do you mean by that?" Yolei asked

"If we could find out his human identity, we could fight his from this side, where his powers aren't as strong."

"You're right, but how are we going to figure who he is, amigo?" Simon was staring out the window. As if he was looking outside to spot the emperor at the moment.

"What do we do? Knock on doors and ask for the Digimon Emperor?" Davis suggested.

Cody frowned softly as he thought to himself. I knew I shouldn't have expressed my opinions. Now they're all going to make fun of me.

"Well, you're a little young to be worrying about those things, Cody." Yolei rested a hand on his shoulder and squuezed it softly.

Davis nodded to agree with her.  "Yeah! Just let us older kids handle it!"

Yolei turned towards the in traning level digimon. "Aren't they cute?"

The blue haired boy flopped onto his bed. Yet again, defeated once more. 

"Tomorrow's another day..."
