*Yash Pov*

"Where are you lost? If you want to be in your thoughts, then why are we even here?" I asked giving her a push making her turn towards me.

"This is great!" she said, looking around and immediately cringed.

"Well, how can I not show you the famous bridge closely?" I asked and glanced around to see the whole bridge covered with vehicles and the horns are just blazing.

"Who brings a girl to here at evening?" she asked looking up.

"You said everywhere." I replied, shrugging and stopped myself from laughing at her expression.

"The park near your house is much better. I will go there and sit alone." She said getting up from the bike which I parked in the footpath so that we can sit on it.

"Alone? You made me not even rest when I returned from work and you want to stay alone?" I asked showing too much shock.

"Not bad, Mr.Yash! I thought you are nothing but a bore. And here you even know how to joke." She said, giving a once over look.

"What can I say? If we have to stay at the great Neville presence, then we have to learn these kinds of things." I replied and she laughed before standing near to me.

"You can call me Nev." She said smiling.

"But I don't like you, right?" I asked innocently and waited for her shocked look.

But she just smirked and said, "It's ok! I like you enough to not need your involvement."

"So, no one can win with you in the words!" I stated and she laughed before moving her hand to hug me, but I shook my head gesturing around to which she frowned.

"Let's just go!" she said and I nodded, starting the bike after she sat back on it.

She hugged me tightly and I started driving telling her small details regarding many sights along the way and she calmly listened.

"Nev! Nev, we are here." I said stopping the bike and felt her not moving.

I frowned and turned a little to see her sleeping. I smiled and got down slowly before tapping her chin.

"What?" she asked slowly opening her eyes.

"If you are standing here then who are driving the bike?" she asked and her eyes slowly widened.

"We reached!" I mumbled and helped her to get down.

"I am just... I am just not feeling well." She said frowning and I walked inside still holding her hand and placed a hand around her shoulder.

"What happened to her?" I heard Dad asking.

"She cannot enter this house while drunk. How can she drink?" Mom started shouting before I could reply.

"She is not feeling well, Mom." I said frowning at her and helped Nev to climb the steps and reached her room.

"I will bring some food." I said making her lay down but she shook her head holding my hand.

"Not feeling like I can eat anything." She said, frowning at me and rubbed her throat.

"Ok! I will bring some milk." I offered and she again shook her head.

"I stopped drinking milk when I was five." She mumbled and her eyes started drooping.

"How about some juice?" I mumbled and placed my hand over her forehead.

"You have slight fever I guess." I said and walked towards the store room and brought a thermometer.

"Open your mouth and be careful with the apparatus." I slowly said and took her temperature.

"Why didn't you tell me that you have a fever?" I asked frowning.

"How can I when I know that from you?" she asked back making me chuckle.

"Your health will never affect your digs?" I asked and she shook her head in negative.

"I will bring a tablet and you have to eat little food." I ordered and left the room before she could say anything.

"What happened to her?" Revu asked, rushing towards me.

"Slight fever! She will be fine within a few days. Must be viral or the food which she took didn't got well along with her system." I replied and she nodded before glancing at the stairs.

"You can go and take care of her." I said smiling.

"No! I will give the food to you." She said walking away, making me frown.

"Mom! Don't you think Aunty should let go off the promise she gave to Uncle?" I asked when she stood beside me.

"Are you mad? Their marriage happened on the basis of the marriage. If she doesn't then their marriage will be in trouble and my Bhai will get hurt." She replied, staring at me, but my eyes widened when I turned to see Revu standing before us.

"Here! Go and give this to her." She said handing over the plate and I nodded before turning around to leave.

"Kalyani! I know that I should be grateful of your brother and will never do something which would hurt him." I heard Revu's voice but I shook my head reaching Nev's room immediately.

"Wow! Who would have thought that my Mom had such a deal with your Uncle?" I heard Nev's voice and turned to see her leaning onto the railing but shaking completely.

"Why are you standing here?" I asked her frowning and dragged her back to her room before making her lay down.

"I don't want you to take care of me. I never needed someone and will not need anyone." She said stubbornly and folded her arms, but I cans ee that her whole body is week.

"Don't be stubborn and think about your condition." I said, glaring at her but she shook her head.

"Fine! Take it as a favor and you can repay me." I offered and she frowned hearing that.

"Ok!" she said before moving her shaking hands towards the plate, but I pushed them away before feeding her.

"Thanks for this." She suddenly said, staring into my eyes with seriousness.

"I will never forget." She added when I made her lay down and covered her with blanket but I couldn't help myself by placing a small kiss on her forehead.

"She is sleeping." I said, entering the living room.

"Well, who will take care of her tomorrow when you go to the office?" Mom asked making me frown at her.

"Aunty! She is not feeling well and you have that question?" Lakshmi asked, staring at Mom in surprise.

"I will take care of her." She added, staring at me and I nodded.

"Fine! Everyone just make a queue to take care of her." Mom said huffing and walked away.

"Thanks for doing this, Lakshmi." I said smiling at her.

"I did a wrong thing, right." She said looking down and I smiled, rubbing her head before walking towards my room hoping she will get well soon.

*Neville Pov*

"You hate me! You just hate me." I stated, glaring at Lakshmi to which she laughed.

"You are worse than a kid and you call me like that." She said, shaking her head and moved the syrup near my mouth.

"You drank it yesterday morning, right?" she asked frowning.

"Yesterday Yash gave it to me." I replied shrugging.

"Ahh!" she mumbled with complete confusion written on her face.

"That's why you are a kid. And I am completely fine now." I said, getting up from the bed feeling tired of lying on it for two whole days.

"Were you always like this?" she asked tiredly.

"I don't know! I never got ill or maybe I did, but never knew." I replied shrugging.

"What was your Dad doing?" she asked frowning.

"He was dating and marrying just like my Mom." I replied, to which she frowned more.

"My Mom and Dad didn't dated." She mumbled shaking her head.

I shook my head and then smiled hearing Yash bike sound like everyday and walked outside the room ignoring the calls from Lakshmi.

"Yash! We wanted to talk to you about something." His Mom stopped him from walking towards the stairs.

"What is it?" he asked and I glanced up to see everyone sitting near the living area.

"Lakshmi's marriage date has postponed. So we thought of starting match looking for you in the meantime and get you married." Aunty said with complete happiness on her face.

"What is it? One is lost and one is entered offer or what?" I mumbled glaring at them.

"Ok! You can start looking for matches." Yash said, shrugging and my glare turned towards him.

Look for matches? Are you really stupid, Yash? Don't worry, I will not let this happen and get some sense into you.

"I don't like you for nothing, Yash. I will see how these matches go into a form." I mumbled smirking at them and walked towards Yash.

"How are you feeling?" he asked, smiling at me.

"Awesome!" I replied grinning to which he frowned but smiled back nodding while I started thinking what to do next.
