Chapter 53

N:   Royal waved goodbye and the moment they stepped outside she whispered, "You need to tell me how the hell Uskaine allowed people to mount him."

Before Neflen could answer, the pair watched as Alaric ran right past them, worry written all over his face, "well I guess he knows what happened," Royal commented before they made their way toward the infirmary.

In the infirmary, one of the nurses was disinfecting Wolfgang's wound, while another gave Johann gave him a blanket as the cold began to set in the room the late autumn weather. Soon Alaric rushed into the room, and beelined towards his son, "Was passiert ist (what happened)?"

"It's fine," Wolfgang reassured him, although he winced a bit when the nurse touched one of the bite marks.

The father held and shook his head, "what have you gotten yourself into?"

M:   "He tried to defend his friends, and held his own quite well," Neflen said when he and Royal came in, "one of the entitled, bratty cadets took our rodeo a bit too far and started trying to break Uskaine, if it weren't for the boy's mastiff Wolfe probably would have been fine."

He turned to Royal to answer her previous question, "It was Uskaine's idea actually, I don't know what caused it, but we first had to get him saddle trained and that was pretty hilarious to watch."

N:   "An Eternal, who has lived for millions of years, getting saddle trained," Royal laughed, "I wished that I could have seen that."

When Alaric heard what Wolfgang did, he turned to him and asked, "Did you give him what he deserved?"

"Ja," Wolfgang smirked, getting an eye roll from Erna.

M:   Neflen laughed at that and pat Wolfgang's shoulder, "Sure did, the soldier was vicious, I'm pretty sure that Alastair punk lost a couple of teeth when he punched him."

"You all are a terrible influence on children," a voice chuckled, Mandoria and Rowen coming in soon after, "we heard what happened and came to make sure our son was ok."

N:   "I'm fine," Johann piped up, huddling in his blanket, "don't worry about me, but this guy got mauled by a dog so you should be asking him."

"Ja, and what about your hands," Wolfgang asked, so Johann looked down at his red hands and shrugged.

"I'm fine. It's worth it if I was close to beating Alastair."

M:   Mandoria and Rowen exchanged glances, they sat down on either side of their son and hugged him tightly to warm him up, Mandoria's wings wrapped around them like a feathery quilt.

"Aww, you three are so adorable together," Neflen cooed, "Alaric, why can't you and Wolfgang be that cute?"

N:   The two Saxons just glanced over to each other and then simultaneously answered, "Nien," getting a small chuckle from Erna.

"Come on, Mr. Schwartz," she smiled, patting the place next to Wolfgang, "what's the harm?"

Alaric narrowed his eyes, "I think the decision is unanimous, isn't that right Wolfe?"

"Ja," the Saxon nodded, glanced over to the nurse who began to bandage up his arm, "I will like to take up the whole bed, danke."

M:   "Yeah well, at least your relationship isn't as dysfunctional as the British," Esha suddenly appeared, "I swear to god they make me want to punch something when I see them interact together."

Esha wheeled over to her bed face planted into the pillow, groaning in frustration, "This is impossible, I can give them an infinite number of jobs and they will still be at each other's throats, Royal, what am I doing wrong?"

N:   "I think you are doing as much as you can," Royal shrugged, "I gave up trying to help and just got used to it. Luckily when I first met them I mainly stayed with Scotland back in his place, so at least I didn't deal with most of the drama."

"So how do you survive," Johann asked as he huddled into Mandoria.

"I'm lucky that I have two personalities," the hybrid smiled, "so one could rest while the other deals with this crap."

M:   "I just don't want them to end up like me," she sighed, lifting her head from her pillow, "I'm a water dragon born to fire dragon parents, I was rejected the moment I was hatched, literally dumped in the woods and left to die within the first hours of my life. I never got to experience childhood or a family, and I wouldn't want that on my worst enemy."

She sat up and hugged her pillow, "Come on, there's got to be something I haven't tried. Alaric, Wolfgang, you two hate each other but still see each other as family, how have you managed to stick together?"

N:   The father and son quickly glanced at each other, "I guess that, even if we get into arguments," Alaric answered, "I guess it's because, at the end of the day, we respect each other."

"And he's the only family I have," Wolfgang added, "ever since Saxony when my Mutter died," he quickly glanced over to his father, "and before Ernie and I were together, home was my safe space."

"Wait," Royal questioned, "so you two still hate each other?"

"Ja."

Royal hummed before adding, "I think the problem is not about that. Now hear me out, England loved and cared for Ireland, but when Ire heard what his father did to HIS people, he cut ties with him." She turned to Wolfe, "Imagine, it's like saying that you and your father went along fine, but after you hear that he has done something terrible to Erna, you wouldn't see him the same way."

M:   Esha looked between Royal and the Saxons, contemplating the points they made with a heavy heart, "I see, excuse me for a while," she said, then got out of bed and left without another word.

She went to the three Brits' rooms and knocked on their doors, telling them to meet her in the dining room in five minutes, that it was necessary. When they arrived she wouldn't let them speak or ask why she called them, she merely snapped her fingers and their shock collars disappeared.

"I give up," she sighed, "you've proven to me that this family is just too broken to fix. Royal, Alaric, Wolfgang, and I were talking and she made a perfect point that I had never thought of before. She said that England and BE were hurting Ireland's people, it's like if Anglo or Saxon hurt Scotland, or if Scotland or England hurt FE, of course, you would want to distance yourselves from them if they hurt the people you love."

She rubbed her face in exasperation, "I'm sorry that I forced this on you three, I truly believed that you guys could be a family again, I had hope that you could come back together again, clearly I was wrong, and I'm sorry for what I did."

N:   The three of them were silent, surprised that they were suddenly freed, and BE reached for his neck, as if he still can't believe he doesn't have the shock collar on. Once his shock wore away, he unsteadily got up, since his leg was still bandaged up from his injury, and answered, "Welcome to reality," before limping away back to bed.

"Make sure you check up on that leg before you lose it," Ireland called back, to which the empire just grumbled some words. The two brothers did change from their time together by learning to not care about each other's jabs and snarky remarks, which in a sense allowed them to see the bigger picture, but they haven't fully let go of the animosity between them.

After an uncomfortable silence between Ireland and England, the Irishman muttered, "Thank goodness Royal understood." He stood up and tucked his chair before glowering at his father, "Because you didn't give two shits about the Irish, and you know it," before storming off.

M:   Now it was just Esha and England, but the eternal wasn't done with him yet, "I'm afraid to say that I agree with Ireland, I think the problem was you all along. Let me ask you one simple question, do you truly care for Ireland? I've seen how you interact with your sons; with BE you are hands-off and trust him to do things on his own, with Wales you act overprotective and treat him like a delicate snowflake that needs to be protected, but with Ireland, all you do is push him away and blame him for not wanting to be around his family. What about Ireland do you despise so much, seriously, if he were Wales would you do and say the same things?"

N:   "His love for his people," England snapped, "his affection to those humans more than to his own family. I hate that he's so concerned about the past, of the centuries of history between my people and his before he was goddamn born, and bringing it all backup. If he wants to care about those potatofuckers, then so be it, because what he said is true, I don't give two shits about them. They had to just be a nuisance all the damn time, and when the English and Scottish landlords went over to the island, they would go and butcher them, only showing us how they need to be civilized. AND IRELAND LOVES THEM!"

Once he had finished, he buried his face in his hand, calming himself down. "There, I said it," he sighed, "I do care for him, but his nationalism is the wedge between us."

M:   Esha was quiet, her face expressionless as she let the Englishman's words hang over them until she finally said, "And you truly believe the English are civilized too?"

She leaned on her knees and looked deep into his eyes, "I may never have left this island, but I know a lot of things that the English have done to other 'nationalisms'. For example, Rowen's ancestor was Egyptian, a young girl who was not even out of her teenage years, was stolen from her family by ENGLISH conquistadors and sold into slavery. Exhibit B; Australia was an entire country created solely to dump English prisoners, and those very prisoners took away the land from the natives, as well as slaughtered the southern eternal colony. And let us not forget all of the countless colonies BE has, who you by extension have as well, British soldiers invading places and killing off the natives, those who survive either get sold to slavery or have their beliefs abolished."

She let out a sigh, "You think the only people who are people, are the people who look and think like you, but if you walked in the footsteps of a stranger, you'll learn things you never knew."

N:   "Welcome to Europe," England grumbled, "where the only thing we do is steal, kill, and destroy. Parliament wanted a penal colony, so we gave Australia, the age of exploration is in full swing, we rush to the New World. And believe me, I once was on the receiving end. Not even a year into my reign, the Normans invaded and conquered my people, forcing all the power into a French minority. I swore that when I had finally taken back what was mine, I will never be subjugated by a foreign power again, and in the century and a half of exile, I learned to do what was best for me, no matter what anyone else said."

The Englishman stood up, and before he left, he added, "It's a game of kill or be killed, and you will see different empires in the ball and you will understand, there is no room for 'what is best for them' but 'what is best for me'. And for the question of if they were civilized: if they were like us, they would have put up a better fight." With that, the country walked away, back to his room.

M:   "You are a father damn it, fucking act like it," Esha roared after him. She had enough of this, she shifted into her dragon form and ran after the country, grabbing him by his arm and dragging him back to the dining hall, then roughly threw him to the floor.

"I've fucking had enough of all this selfish talk," she growled, spreading her wings in a threatening way, "you are a fucking father, parents do not put themselves above their children, I don't give a rats ass about your political ideologies, those have no place in a family. Kill or be killed, are you serious, you honestly see your own sons like that, were you not listening to anything I was saying!"

Esha was beyond furious, her eyes were bloodshot red, and smoke leaked from her mouth, "you are a disgrace England, you would choose your country over the people you have brought into this world. You ought to rule the Prussian empire with that mindset, because that's who you are fucking acting like, YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A WINGLESS PRUSSIA WANNABE!!!"

N:   England tried his absolute best to not look like he was cowering in fear, but his shaking hands betrayed him as he got up to his feet and faced Esha.

"Well, you're damn right," he snapped, "I am a wingless Prussia, apart from the fact I would do a better job than him in leading, and I have cursed the lives of more people than he ever could, of every continent I touch there is chaos and death. And I am a fucking disgrace, I was ever since I was born, to every decision I've made, so your petty insults don't mean anything because they are true."

Once his confidence grew exponentially, he shouted, "And of course, I don't use that policy for my sons but for other empires, because they backstab as easily as they breathe. And I know I am a father, but ideologies always are in the way. Ireland fucking went nationalistic because of the plantations, the wars and battles his petty people can't win, the endless revolts, and that I had them crushed. And the Welsh didn't have it better, their constant annoyance to oppose my rule, insisting that they are the true Britons, so I had their leader killed and placed a castle in every place I could find, showing that I am the one in control. Both Ireland and Wales are fucking reminders of my past, so yes, political jargon will enter the family one way or another."

"What," muttered a small voice by the door, and when England looked to see who it was, he was in utter shock to see Wales there. He was woken up by sensing Esha's rage in his wings, and wondering what was happening went to investigate. There he was, standing in his pajamas as his tail wrapped around his legs, and quickly the feeling England felt turned to guilt.

"Let me explain-"

"That you murdered my people," Wales interrupted and scarily void of emotion, "that you had their rights taken away from them from the start, and you never told me the full truth." When England took a step forward he held up his hand, "Don't- don't come any closer. I just need to- to process this," and with that, he disappeared.

This finally broke him, although not in the sense that his eyes changed color. He slowly fell to the ground, his legs spread out in front of him as he felt he had completely lost all hope in the world. "I hope you're happy," he eventually whispered.

M:   "Serves you right," Esha growled, "you don't deserve this family, they are too good for you trying to use them to gain power. I'm truly happy, maybe losing everyone you love will teach you to not think only of yourself."

She saw movement in the corner of her eye, she turned to see Mandoria, Edel, and Sleipnir standing at the doorway, they came when they heard Esha roar and watched everything.

"Well, at least a true father now knows about your sorry ass," she grunted, "I'm leaving, I don't want to be under the same roof as you. Tell Scotty that I am going back to my home under the lake, and he can visit whenever he pleases, may you be happy on the path you chose."

With that, Esha turned and walked away to pack her things, Sleipnir following her.

Mandoria and Edel stood there for a bit more until the winged country said, "You have a lot to think about, England, I pray you to make the right decision before it's too late."

Edel was the last to leave, he didn't go to England to comfort him, he just snorted disapprovingly and followed after Esha and Sleipnir, leaving the country all alone.

N:   England felt nothing when he was shouted at, only staring at the ground while Wales was just outside the hall. The Welshman had sat down and hugged his legs, and used his wings as a sort of cocoon, his shoulders shaking from fear and the pain of betrayal as he cried in the night.

Scotland soon came, followed by Ireland and BE, and immediately the Scot rushed to his son, embracing him as he asked what happened. It took a while for Wales to free himself from his wing cage, and he told them, just above a whisper, what Esha and England said.

"England," the Scot roared, marching into the hall, "I swear I'm going to murder you-"

"Dad, not now," BE called out as he grabbed for his father's arm.

"What are you going to do now, Albion? Defend your Father?"

"No, I'm not. I'm saying it's not the time to-"

"Let go of me," Scotland snapped as he pulled his arm free, turning his attention to England, "you drove Òrail away, you drove everyone you love away just to play your stupid game."

He was going to lunge at his husband when he felt someone hold him back, and when he turned he saw his mother. "Scotland, pull your act together," Celtcia ordered, "and don't stoop down to his level. We will settle this in the morning when everyone is fully awake."

"There won't be a morning," England muttered, slowly getting up to his feet, "I'm not staying here."

When he walked away, Scotland demanded that he face him, so he paused before turning around. "Tell me what to do, Celt, and I will fucking gut you," he grumbled, "I am not needed in this household, and frankly in this whole kingdom, so I am going home."

"What do you mean 'home'," the Scot asked, but he was ignored as the Englishman left. As he passed Wales, who was taken care of by Ireland, he couldn't bring himself to meet his eyes as he walked right past them, quickly stopping off at his room to get a bag he always had for travel, before heading outside towards the stables.

M:   "I thought I told you to make the right decision," Mandoria suddenly said from within Xanthos's stall. He had a feeling that England would try to run away from his problems, so he went straight to the stables to wait for him, occupying himself by brushing his horse.

"So that's it huh, you're going to prove Esha right by abandoning your family," he asked, slight disappointment in his voice, "England, don't give her the satisfaction of driving you away, she's wrong about you, you do care for your family. Don't run away from your problems, they will only keep following you until the day you die, and if you leave now, you may never get a second chance."

N:   "This is the right decision," England said firmly as he saddled up his horse, "I don't care if I give her the satisfaction or not, I need to be alone right now so I can reflect, in a place where I feel safe."

He went silent for a moment as he worked, but eventually, he stopped and rested his head on his horse. "I'm not running away from my problems; I will come back but now I can't stand the look my sons give me," he sighed, "the fact that Scotty would most likely murder me. How could I care for my family if I kill the people they love?"

When he had finally mounted his horse, he slung his bag across his back as he wrapped his cloak tighter around him for warmth. The country stared into the night sky before turning back to Mandoria.

"I know my past would always haunt me, I've already accepted that. I am already hated so hopefully putting some distance between us could calm things down. And don't try to convince me to stay, Esha clearly said she couldn't stand being under the same roof as me, so if that's the reason she will use to leave, I'll make sure she doesn't. She has made her home here, a place where she is loved and cared for, a place I can't form, so I only want the best for her and for her to stay." With that, the country flicked his reins and was off into the night.

M:   Mandoria watched the country ride off, he was saddened that England felt it was his only option to leave, but if he thought what he was doing was best for his family then he would respect that. The former king spent a few more minutes with Xanthos, then eventually headed back inside.

The rest of the night went by without incident, though Esha didn't return, even if she did know that England left she would stay, she missed being in her cave and living out in the wilderness, and she didn't mind having a new draconic roommate either.

N:   Johann woke up early to check on his friends in the infirmary, and when he arrived he smiled when he saw that Heinrich was awake and sitting up in his bed, although his smile faltered when he saw the others in their beds. "How are they," he asked.

Heinrich turned around, and near him, he saw Erna holding only Wolfgang's hand, who was still asleep but he had developed a fever. Erna tried her best to help by placing wet cold towels on his forehead, but the Saxon seemed to keep taking them off, finding it uncomfortable. Further away in a bed was Royal, lying down on her stomach as she slept, her wings splayed on the floor.

"Wolfe isn't doing good," Heinz reported, "and Royal passed out from Esha's roar last night, and hasn't woken up since."

Once he finished speaking, Heinrich swung his legs off the bed and stood up, and when Johann asked if he was alright to walk about, he smirked, "I don't remember the last time I've been in a bed outside of this damn room, let me explore. Besides, I want to check what Mutter's been doing." He nudged the Mandorian playfully, "Who knows, she might have adopted that sister of yours."

Johann chuckled before wishing his best to Erna and leaving with the Saxon, going to find Maria.

M:   Unfortunately for them, someone else was looking for Maria too. Sofia was also feeling adventurous and had been wandering around the castle, even catching a mouse for a midnight snack.

She eventually wandered into the guest area and picked up Maria's scent, so she followed it and managed to open the door to her room. She crept in and jumped onto her bed, then curled up next to her and went to sleep.

N:   Maria smiled when Sofia huddled next to her, so she gently rested her hand on her and stroked her back. The moment Heinrich and Johann came, she let go of the book she was reading and raised her finger to her lips. "She's sleeping so don't disturb her," she whispered.

Heinrich rolled his eyes and smiled, "I guess she did actually adopt Sofia," getting a quiet chuckle from Johann.

The Mandorian then walked up to Sofia and watched as her shoulders slowly rose and fell. "Do you think we could get more information from Chrysalis today," he asked his friend.

"I don't know. The British family's gone to shit, Royal's out of commission, and I haven't seen the Eternals yet." He opened the door and tilted his head towards it, "let's not disturb the child."

Johann nodded and waved, "Bye Sofia," before following Heinrich to find the Eternals.

M:   The rest of the eternals were gathered in the dining room, they had food but no one had any appetite, they were visited by Esha's fox and shown what happened.

"It's not like we have anywhere to go," Odrus said, "besides these people are as much our family as anyone, we can't just abandon them."

"I never said abandon," Askad clarified, "after everything they've done for us, I was just thinking we go for a few days until everything settles down, that's all."

N:   As the Eternals spoke, Johann and Heinrich walked in on their conversation, and not knowing what to do they just stood there.

"Umm," Heinrich spoke hesitantly, "if you're busy, we can come back another time. We just wanted to ask you guys a question but we can go."

M:   The group turned to the two humans, they glanced at each other as they also didn't know what to do.

"No, it's ok, you can come in," Askad reassured them, "what did you want to ask?"

N:   "We just saw Sofia and we were thinking about if we could get more information out of Chrysalis," Johann explained, "you know, for Ora, but we don't know who would do it."

"There is no way Saxon will be in the same room as Chrysalis, and I think Esha's roar last night really affected Royal, and those two are the ones who usually interrogate him," Heinrich continued, "so ... is anyone up to it?"

M:   The others were silent, they didn't expect that question, they had kind of forgotten all about Chrysalis.

"I'll do it," Odrus volunteered, surprising his friends, "I think I'm the best person to do it at the moment."

"What makes you say that," Uskaine asked.

"I don't know, just a feeling," he shrugged, "should we ask permission first or let someone know that we're going down there?"

N:   The two looked at each other, "I think we can just notify BE that we're going, but otherwise it's fine I guess," Heinrich answered.

"But where will we find him, especially after what happened last night," Johann asked, to which the Saxon just shrugged, suggesting that they ask a servant to relay their message.

Once everything was ready, the three of them made their way to the dungeons, but right when they were about to enter, Johann began to hesitate. "You know what," he muttered, "You guys go ahead without me. I don't think I've fully recovered from being in a cell ... back in Prussia."

Heinrich nodded, understanding his reasoning, they decided to meet up in the infirmary, and once the Mandorian was gone, the pair entered the dungeons.

Chrysalis looked better than the rest of the prisoners, having clean clothes, and his injuries were gone, although now both his wrists and ankles were chained. An empty bottle was lying near him, as well as the bell and drawing that was gifted to him, and when they arrived he was just sitting on his bed, fiddling with the coin with Odrus on it.

"You were a slave once," the insurgent stated, not even looking up but he could tell that Odrus was there, "but what is the shooting star for?"

M:   Odrus pursed his lips, he forgot that he gave him that coin, he kind of wished he didn't. Without a single word, the eternal pulled down the neck of his shirt to show Chrysalis his brands, first the double axes, then the shooting star.

"He was my master," he muttered, "and the one who took my family away. After I was freed all I wanted was vengeance for their deaths, but when I got it, I just felt emptier than before."

He nodded to the guard to let him in, then sat on the floor so he wasn't intimidating to Chrysalis, "is that what you're master is promising you, vengeance on those who took away your family?"

N:   Chrysalis looked over to him before glancing over to the drawing, "he didn't only promise, he swore that he would, and knowing him, I believe him. And-," he faced the Eternal, "I can fulfill my duty as an insurgent, and Saxon was always in the way ever since he was part of that damn family. So it's a decent deal: I get what I want and I can live a quiet life after I do my task."

The insurgent looked over to Heinrich and narrowed his eyes at him, to which the Saxon frowned back. The Saxon was surprised that Odrus even went near Chrysalis, knowing what the insurgent did to the Eternals.

"You're one of those Saxon knights," the insurgent spoke, "I remember Wald telling me of what happened in Saxony and your time in the Kingdom of Prussia." When Heinz's face turned to one of shock, he smirked, "I have been outside of this kingdom. Anyway, I would like to ask, don't you want to get revenge against the people who hurt you, who took the people you consider family by Saxon, who was supposed to protect you?" His face then turned to one of seriousness and added, "to take revenge against Prussia?"

Heinrich hesitated, on the surface, he didn't show any of his emotions but deep down, he agreed. The insurgent turned back to Odrus, "The kid gets it."

M:   Odrus raised a brow, "Perhaps, but I don't quite think you do. If we were to follow your logic, then I should be getting revenge against you for the genocide you committed against my people. What you are saying is that I wasted my time healing you, giving you a proper bed and clothing, and offering my assistance to you. Is that what you want, for me to take vengeance on you?"

Odrus exhaled deeply, "Well I don't, because I know that vengeance won't bring back the ones we lost, it just creates a dark void that slowly eats us alive until it eventually kills us. Your quest for vengeance will just lead to more suffering, it will kill you, one way or another, and I'm sure you're sister wouldn't want that, would she."

N:   "You don't know what she would have wanted," Chrysalis growled, "and if anything she would persuade me to do it anyway, because if you haven't figured it out, she was an insurgent against the English."

He laid back on his bed and continued, "Go ahead, continue trying to convince me. If you said that vengeance will kill me, I'll take that risk, and besides, you're alive, aren't you?"

M:   "By sheer willpower and the desire to keep going," he grunted, "and I don't think you realize how close to death you are. Soon enough my friends will get tired of waiting, someday they will come down here to kill you, and make it last as long as possible, then you will never fulfill your goal. I am trying to give you a chance to live, damn it, but you are too tunnel-visioned to see it."

He noticed in the corner that the departed countryhuman was standing there watching, a thought came to mind, it was a risky one and probably wouldn't work how he wanted it to, but he didn't see any other alternative

"I am going to deeply regret what I am about to do," he groaned, he stood up and first turned to the insurgent, "Please ma'am, you got to help me, you're the only one he will listen to."

With that, he grabbed Chrysalis's shoulder and concentrated on sharing his powers, just like he did with Celtica.

N:   Heinrich realized what Odrus was going to do, since Wolfgang told him what he heard when he was with Esha, but he was too late. Seeing that the Eternal was already committed to what he was doing, he instead rushed back out towards the dining hall, warning them about what Odrus was doing."

Chrysalis initially recoiled from Odrus' touch, but the Eternal held onto his shoulder tightly. After what felt like a couple of minutes, his eyes turned grey and he looked around in surprise, although his gaze quickly became fixed on the female spirit.

"H-how," he stuttered, but the woman raised her finger to her lips.

"He is allowing you to see the spirits of the deceased," she explained, "and since I am one of them, Chrysalis, you can see me." She gracefully made her way to his bed and sat beside him, "he is telling me to help you out since you're so adamant about taking this vengeful path."

"Now, don't try to convince me-"

"You need to understand how revenge works," she interrupted again, "It's an action where you want to make things even, where instead you could ask for forgiveness, but see," she looked up to the insurgent, "will they accept your forgiveness?"

"Nay."

"Exactly, and what is advice number two?"

"Don't give others any satisfaction."

"Good. It is confirmed that the Eternals will kill you; the British will hand you right over to them," she glanced over to Odrus, who still had his eyes closed, "I admire that he wants to help you, but he cannot control the outcome of your life. So if you get your revenge, you die, if not, you also die, so it's a lose-lose situation already. But they ... they will get their revenge but you won't, is that fair."

"Nay."

"So it's your choice to follow the advice. If it were me, only strike for one Brit, only one because that family is like a fragile house of cards, remove one and the whole thing crumbles down."

"But I'll still die."

She smiled as she stood up, "Don't worry, I'll deal with that. No one is going to kill you on my watch," and with that, she walked away and disappeared.
