I lived in the Selenite Province, a small town burned to ash due to inferno's war. I was one of the. Few survivors, and due to being orphaned, was taken in by the knights. The high ranking knights passed me around, nobody knew what to do with me. Eventually they just chose to present me to the queen, who decided to take me in after they pressured her. It wasn't pressure in a bad way, she just kept hemming and hawing claiming she couldn't possibly care for a child, until they called her a hypocrite for wanting a family and at the same time turning down the opportunity she kept complains about. That got her to shut up.
