Shizuku's POV

"I'm glad you agreed." She said with a smile.

She put her hands together and a glowing paper came out.

"This will be our contract." She said and gave me the paper.

Some sort of calligraphy pen that is heart-shaped at the end appeared out of nowhere. I took the pen and signed it. The paper disappeared the moment I finished writing. Cool!

"That pen will help you transform." She explained.

"Oh, why do I need to transform if all I needed do is collect fragments?" I asked.

"I told you that the fragments are inside the Akumus, and you need to fight it with special powers. And since the legendary heart crystal is so powerful, many tries to collect the fragments. Many of them have bad intentions." She explained.

"Oh. Why do you want me to collect it anyways?" I asked again.

"Well, the crystal belongs to the kingdom of crystalia, the place where I'm from, and where the crystal came from. The queen divided it into fragments to keep it safe from those who want to get it. And one always needs to find people that will help collect it again. And now, the enemy is back so the queen divided it again and I am sent here to make sure it is safe from the ene- wait, did you really read the contract?!" She shouted at me.

"Actually, no. I just signed it for the sake of being a magical girl." I said and she looked disappointed.

"Huh, seriously. I still doubt if you can be the protector of the legendary heart crystal."

"Protector? I thought you said I'm a magical girl?" I asked.

"That's the same!" She said and I pouted.

"So how do I transform?" I asked and swung the pen around.

"Say something related to your power as you raise the pen up." She demonstrated.

"Uh, okay.......Wait, what is my power?" I asked.

"Just why the heck did you sign the contract without reading it?! Its all written in there! Seriously..." She face palmed.

"Since your name is Shinkai Shizuku, I think you know what is your power." She said.

"Ummmm, water? Hey, how did you know my name?!" I asked.

"Exactly. Nevermind that." She said with a smile. She's so cute!

"So what do I do again?" I asked. Well its on purpose though, hehe.

"Shizuku!" She yelled.

"Oh right!" I said, and raised the pen up. "

"Umi (sea)" I said with a neutral face and I transformed.

My brownish-black hair turned into a color of pink and the bottom is blue. There were also several bunny hair clips at the side of my head. And my clothes looked like a weird blue sailor uniform.

"Usagi, what's this?!" I freaked out.

"Mou, can't you be creative? You just bluntly said sea!" She whined.

"Its not my fault that I can't think of anything!"

"Jeez."

We heard someone scream. The sound is loud, its probably just nearby.

"Its one of the Akumus!" Usagi shouted.

And since I'm already in my magical form, we ran to where the screaming came from. It is from a big jewelry store. There, I saw a guy that has cat ears and a tail? Weird. He looked like he was looking for something.

There was jewels and diamonds and some other stuffs scattered in the whole place. There were also several women that are lying down on the floor.

I took a step closer, but looks like he noticed me. He turned around. His eyes were red and a crazy smile is in his face. It started running towards me. His nails started growing.

I hope he wont scratch me with that.

When he was about to scratch me, I felt really scared so I just closed my eyes and waited for something to happen but there was none. I opened my eyes to see someone in front of me.

Usagi made a barrier in front of me, so that the Akumu can't harm me.

"Idiot Shizuku! You should attack now!" She shouted at me.

"Right! What do I do again?" I asked and looked at her. The cat gut started scratching the barrier.

"Just say something!" She shouted. It seemed like the barrier is weakening, I better hurry up and attack.

"Submerge!" I shouted as I put my so called wand in front of me. water started coming from it but it looks like it no use.

"Usagi, my power is useless!" I shouted.

"Burn!" Someone shouted and fire surrounded the Akumu and burnt until it disappeared.

I look up to see someone.

Their contract is some kind of manual so you really have to read it first.
