It was Dan's first day at his new high school. His family had moved 4 other times before this. He knew this wouldn't be any different.
     "Have a good first day of school Daniel!" She yelled as Dan walked out the door. "I wish." He murmured. "This won't be any different from the others. I know it."
     Dan never did make friends at his other school. He was what people liked to call an "outcast". He didn't mind. He never was the greatest with people.
     As Dan walked through the school gates, another boy plowed through him. "Sorry! I didn't see you there! By the way, my name is Pj. Are you new here?"
"H-hi. I'm Dan. And y-yeah. I'm new." He replied. 'why am I so awkward? Pull it together Dan!' he thought. Well Dan, welcome to high school. I'll help you find your way around if you'd like!" Pj exclaimed. "Sure! Thanks."
Maybe this wouldn't be such a bad school after all.
