I'm alive, I swear! Smh it's been like 8464748 centuries dudes I'm so sorry 😂 but I'm here once again and I'm back with a new tut, yayay lol. Even though I know it won't, I hope this chap makes up for my insanely long absence!

Okie dokie folks, first off let's start with adding a plain canvas into PicsArt with the correct dimensions!

Next, add your background/texture. This step depends on what type of icon you're making; wether it's horror or happy, fantasy, mystical, light, dark, whatever. I chose a dark and what I thought was unnerving one lol mainly because I've never done one before, oops. An early Halloween tutorial heyyyy 😂

Anywho, afterwards is when you want to add your celeb cutout. This is always the hardest decision to me y'all smh ngl 😒 I slapped Amanda Seyfried on this one because she's gorgeous and had great png's available... which I already had on my phone bc i was too lazy to search for more 👀

For this particular tutorial, I wanted to add a bit more color to her lips to kind of go along with the deep red of the texture I chose so I went into 'Draw' and colored her lips in with a dark crimson. Depending on what type of icon you're doing, you may want to follow suit. Then again, you may not!

Sooo next, go into 'Effects' and add your desired filters! This is one of my favorite things to do, adding the color, and I tend to go overboard with it sometimes 😂 so I probably wouldn't use my coloring technique if I were you fam lol ya feel?

Anyways, after you have your filters applied, scroll through the options bar at the bottom and hit on 'Pop Art'. Now this is purely based upon my personal preference as a so-called graphic designer lol so again, you may not like this method of coloring either! I like to add a sort of grayscale effect to my edit no matter what I'm doing; cover, manip, icon, you name it. I always apply this. I then lower the transparency until the graphic looks a bit darker and faded, save, then up the saturation. This is my little signature thing y'all lol I'm not kidding when I say I put this on everything 😂 I'm seerus yo, I'm seerus.

Then then then, go back to 'Pop Art' after you save your changes and decide on a glow color. I say glow but I guess it's more of an outline...? Idk lol you be the judge. I saw this on many of the photoshop covers and really wanted to find out a way to achieve the same look, even if it only slightly resembled it 😂

Anywho, choose the same color for both, or a scale like the b&w thing I do, where it smoothly fades into a darker shade of the same color. It's up to you my sexy lil peeps ;)

I chose the ombre!

After you decide on your color(s), erase the entire image and then carefully zoom in and start outlining your model!

I always like to add little dots of the red here and there on the graphic, just to ensure that the colors don't stray from the texture too much. And after you increase the 'Fade', save and do your finishing touches!

I liked the idea of blood being on and around Amanda for this type of graphic so I added a few splatters here and there before applying any sort of lighting texture!

I then sharpened the edit, lowered the sharpness to 85-95, applied two lighting textures, a light blue tint, and voila! icon completed 😏 lol it's not the best buuut at least it's something.

Added a bit of oil effect, and the finished product issss:
