I love that you wait up for me when I have to deal with things that Xavier wants me to deal with and I end up coming home really late. But you're there in my room waiting for me or you'll text me a small goodnight message somehow always knowing when I get home. I want to have you in my arms for the rest of my life. I want to let others know that you are mine and only mine for the rest of my life. I want to show you just how lucky I am that I have you in my life. I want to make you feel appreciated. I want to try to make you fall in love with me every day because I continue to find little things to love about you. So, Uriel Angelus will you marry me?"

He was staring into my eyes as I tried to blink back the tears. God damn him! Why is he so sweet?

"Adam."

I fall to my knees in front of him and throw my arms around his neck all while nodded and chanting yes! I can hear the crowd cheering.

Is this for real?

Yes, I didn't want to propose so soon because I didn't want you to think that I'm doing only because you're helping us and we needed an excuse. I thought about it and realized that I love you so I want to marry. I'm so fucking happy you said yes!

I lean back a bit so I can see his face and see his eyes shining with tears. I couldn't help it, I needed to kiss him so I did. I literally threw my lips onto his. We lost ourselves in each other. He deepened the kiss by swiping his tongue across my bottom lip and I immediately opened up. His tongue and mine waltz inside of my mouth in an erotic dance. His hands were roaming my body while mine were tangled in his hair. His arms wrap around my waist pulling me closer. I could feel his rock hard dick on my stomach and I knew I wanted him inside of me now! I was incredibly turned on right now. I felt his fangs begin to come out and I knew he was losing control. It is black and has six jewels going in a line. The jewels weren't diamonds, but amethyst. The jewel reminded me of Raguel's eyes. But in a certain light it looked kind of blue and I loved it. I figured Adam chose it because it reminded him of my eyes. He chuckled and sweeped me of off my feet quite literally while he stood up. It wasn't as awkward that you would think it would have been. I wasn't scared that he was going to drop me or anything.

I'm glad. Now everyone knows that you're mine!

He carried me down the stage where plenty of his men were greeting me and congratulating Adam. The whole time Raguel was telling how proud he was of our mate and his group. He could tell that most of these men were loyal to their Don and his siblings. He also said that there were a few who could be persuaded to betray the Diavolos if they were paid a high enough price. But I already knew that would quickly change once Adam and Xavier begin the interrogation tomorrow. I was currently hidden in Adam's arms. But that quickly changed when I heard his voice. I quickly jump off of Adam, ignoring his small growl of disapproval.

"Well, that was quite a show you put on for us, Uriel."

"Raphael!"

"Hey baby bro! Congrats!"

Ariel comes up behind him with Alex watching her carefully. Ariel has a small baby bump. She should be almost five months now. I'm not sure.

She'll give birth once she reaches six months.

What? Will the baby be alright? That's way too early!

Non-sense. We develop faster in the womb. But come out as completely human. The baby will be fine.

Does Ariel know?

Yes, she does. Mother told her.

Speaking of our parents, I wonder where they are. Actually, how did they even get here?

Well, that would be my doing. Mama got here this morning and was holed up in the office with nonno. So I decided to ask her if she could go back to your parent's house so they would know what was going to happen and ask them to be there. And she did since she knew what was going to happen today.

"Where's mom and dad?"

"We're right here!"

I turn around and jump into my mom's opened arms.

"Mommy!"

"What am I chopped liver?"

I laughed and jumped into his arms.

"Dad! I missed you!"

"I've missed you too, babyboy!"

I smile because my dad may be a bit of a workaholic, but we're still super close. I lean in and smell his cologne. It was such a comforting smell to me. I snuggled even closer to him and ignore Adam's growl because it's my dad.

"I expect you to be taking care of my baby boy, Adam."

"I will, sir."

"Good, because you might be a mafioso, but all the training you got ain't shit to what I'm capable off. Afterall, I'm a doctor."

Raguel didn't like the threat toward our mate, but I told him to cool it because my dad was just being himself. I'm use to his over protectiveness. Some people don't like it, but I love it because it makes me feel loved and cherish. Not that the parents who aren't as overprotective don't care for their kids, I just know that mine do a lot. And I love them deeply for it. I can feel Adam's piercing gaze and my hunger for my mate from earlier was beginning to make itself known. Adam growled again but a little louder.

"Complimenti Uriel! Spero di essere invita- (Congratulations Uriel! I hope I'll be invit-)"

I feel my dad tense and hear my mom gasp. I look over at my Uncle Nathan and smile.

"You know I'm not that good with Italian, Uncle Nathan! You have to speak English till I learn Italian!"

My mom is just staring at my uncle. Her eyes begin to water.

"Nathan?"

"Hi, Seraphine. Fancy seeing you here."

My dad lets me go and I quickly rush into Adam's embrace.

I can sense your need for me, amato. Should we go and celebrate our engagement our own way?

I squirm in his arms as his arousal overtakes my senses. I'm so glad that no one else can smell it. Only true mates can smell each other's arousal. God, I want him to take me, but now isn't the time. And I tell him so. He just chuckles and challenges me to try and withstand his "charms". I giggle as his nose runs along the column of my neck.

"Where is Alexandrea?" My dad practically growled out as he push mom behind him.

"Last time, we talk was about seven years ago? I'm not sure. It's been awhile."

Ariel and Raphael were looking at the mom confused. True to her blunt nature, Ariel was the first to say something.

"Mom? Who is he and why does dad look like he wants to murder someone?"

Uncle Nathan turned to the two siblings of mine. I smiled as his gaze was soft and loving. I decided to speak up.

"This is mom's brother and our uncle Nathan!"

"What?"

I nodded my head and smile as Ariel and Raphael look at mom for confirmation.

"Yes, it's true. Kids meet your Uncle Nathan. My younger brother."

"Wait! I thought you didn't have any family?"

"No, I just didn't talk about them."

"You also said that your parents were dead."

"Well, my dad is dead. My mom is dead to me for things in the past."

"I see. Okay then. Hi, Uncle Nathan!"

Nathan turned to Raphael who smiled and went in for a hug which Nathan gladly returned! I was happy for him. He finally gets to meet my siblings and see my parents again. I looked over at mom who was just staring at her brother. I walked behind her and pushed her toward him. Dad let out a low growl, but promptly shushed when I smacked his arm in warning. It's her brother, not some stranger. Adam walked over to me pulled me back into his arms. I smiled at his possessive behavior.

I'm going to introduce you to a few people.

I nodded and waved goodbye to my family. I followed as Adam led me to a few people surrounding Xavier and Dominic. I smiled as the two Diavolo brothers were laughing and speaking their language. They seemed completely at ease. They all stopped when Adam and I walked up. One of them said something and everyone else laughed. Adam just rolled his eyes and said something else causing another round of laughter before he pulled me in front of him.

"Ciao a tutti. È bello vederti di nuovo. Questo è il mio fidanzato. (Hello everyone. It's nice to see you again. This is my fiance.)"

One of them chuckles and speaks up.

"Otteniamo un nome? (Do we get a name?)"

Adam pulls me closer to him causing Raguel to practically purr at the gesture. I giggled because it's kind of funny considering I'm an angel and not a were-cat.

"No. Tutto quello che devi sapere è che lui è mio. (Nope. All you need to know is that he is mine.)"

They burst out in laughter yet again. I'm extremely curious as to what is being said. Almost like he read my mine, Xavier wipes his eyes since they were watery due to laughing so hard and states.

"Poor Uriel. Having to deal with my possessive brother. I don't know how you can stand him."

I giggle at that because it's true.

Yeah, but we get super possessive as well...

It's a big turn on though so I don't mind.

Agreed.

"I don't mind. It's pretty sexy when he does."

Dominic playfully pushes Adam's shoulder and he exclaims.

"Oooh, get you some Adam!"

Causing everyone to laugh. I blushed and cuddled into Adam's chest to hide my face. I hear Adam cooing at me which sets me off even more.

Bastard!

He just chuckles and rubs my back. Someone calls Xavier away and he excuses himself before Adam does the same.

"Se volete scusarmi, ho bisogno di andare avanti e salutare il resto dei membri. (If you'll excuse me, I need to go ahead and greet the rest of the members.)"

He leads me away from the group and toward others. We spent the rest of the night greeting and chatting with different members. There were plenty of people who were happy for us, but I met a few who disagreed with Adam's choice of fiance. I only knew because Raguel told me. He said some of them were trying to change while we had to watch of two people in particular. One was a girl who apparently had the hots for Adam and she was jealous. The other was a the son of a high ranking member. I kept it to myself though because they were harmless. They weren't spies and couldn't really do much but complain and whine inside their heads. Of course, they acted happy for Adam and I.

I was fucking starving! Adam told me that the feast will start soon, but if I wanted he'll ask for a plate to be made for me. I totally agreed because I was fucking hungry! I was also kind of craving pizza with anchovies and pineapples on it. When I told Adam, he looked at me like I was crazy and I glared at him since he was taking too long to bring me my food!

"Go before you get no sex for two weeks!"

I giggled as he rushed out of there like a bat out of hell! The no sex thing always gets them to do something. I walked toward mama Ivana, who got here early this morning. She didn't say anything about why she got here later than she stated she would. The Diavolo sibling were frustrated with her because they wanted to know what took her so long. I'm just glad she was here to witness the proposal.

"Welcome to the family, bambino. Even though, you were already a part of it. This is just more official...nevermind! Congratulations, Uri baby!"

"Thank you Ivana. I'm so happy!"

I said while tears were threatening to fall from my eyes.

"Please call me mama! You're like a son to me. I couldn't be more happier for a son-in-law like you!"

As she said that I felt a tear roll down my eye.

"Bambino! Why are you crying? Are you okay?"

I cleared my throat and wiped away the tear.

"Honestly? I have no clue. I guess I'm just overwhelmed with happiness. I'm just so lucky to have all of my family here along with my mate, who I adore and love with my all."

She nods and hugs me.

Uriel.

Yeah?

We need to speak about something later.

Sure. What is it?

Later. Adam and you need to be together. Also, our family...well that is if you want them to know about this.

You're scaring me, love. Is everything alright?

Yes...well depends on how you'll feel about the situation.

Umm okay. I'll gather everyone and we'll head over to the meeting room. After, I get my pizza that is.

I sent that last part to Adam. And he quickly responds that he's entering the room as we speak. Soon, I smell the mouth-watering aroma of anchovies and pineapples on top of melted cheese, along with the garlic covered crust. I quickly turned around and snatched the pizza from the plate that Adam was holding in his outstretched hand. I happily munched on it as I sent a mindlink to everyone.

Hi everyone! After the feast, can you meet Adam and I in the meeting room. Parents and siblings of mine, just follow Ivana as she will take you. Raguel says he has something to tell us all.

I get their agreements and continue to munch on my delicious pizza. This pizza is something that you think wouldn't taste so good together, but it does! Soon, Xavier is up on the stage and announcing that dinner is ready and for everyone to head toward the dining hall. I walk toward it as well because I'm still hungry. When we enter the hall, I get a wiff of chicken alfredo and the pizza I just ate makes it's way up again. I quickly run till I'm far enough away from people and teleported to the bathroom where I promptly threw chunks into the toilet. I feel Adam trying to contact me through our mate link and I quickly answer him.

Uri! Baby! Amato! Are you alright? Where did you run off to? Why did you run off?

I'm alright now. I don't think the pizza sat well with my stomach. I'm in the bathroom in our room. I just threw up.

Poor baby. Maybe next time we're craving weird things, we should just go for something normal instead like regular pepperoni pizza.

Hey! I was craving it pretty badly! Don't judge!

I'm not, baby. I just don't want you to get a stomach ache or throw up because you're stomach didn't agree with what you wanted to eat. Anyways, open up. I'm right outside.

I quickly flush the toilet and open the door before heading over to the sink to brush my teeth and wash my hands.

"Do you feel better?"

"A little. I'm still kind of nauseous, but I'm hungry so let's go eat."

Emilio POV

"What do you mean you can get in contact with our spies in the Diavolo mafia?"

The man before me was shaking with fear and I couldn't help but revel in it.

"Th-they we-we-were su-suppo-"

"Quit stuttering like an idiot and just tell me already before I get angry and do something to that pretty little sister of yours."

He whimpers and I grin what I'm sure is a sadistic smile.

"They we-were supp-pose to go to some meeting that-at Gio Diavolo called and ch-check in once they found out w-why. But they hav-en-en't and nobody can get through."

"Fucking shit!"

I grab my gun and shoot him straight in the head. I laugh as his blood smears the walls.

"Well, I certainly feel better."

I said out loud to no one in particular since I'm now alone. I need to call up my son and see if the Diavolo Don and his sibling are still in town. I quickly pull out my phone and dial his number.

"Yes, father?"

"Where are the Diavolo siblings?"

I hear rustling in the background and he mutters something that I don't quite hear which pisses me off because the disrespectful piece of shit is most likely talking back.

"You know Enzo, I'm in an aweful mood and I don't take too kindly to lack of respect, especially from those beneath me. Which you are since you have failed to bring me the Angel that I need to finally defeat the Diavolo mafia."

He stays quiet and I chuckle at it.

"The Diavolo siblings were last seen two days ago at their house. Ivana, their mother, was seen at the cafe with two people..."

He pauses.

"What the fuck?!"

He begins cursing underneath his breath.

"What's wrong Enzo?"

"Nothing father, just stubbed my toe."

"Weakling. If that hurt then maybe I should train you in withstanding torture again."

The phone goes completely silent before he begins talking again. He sounds out of breath and his voice is a bit rougher than usual.

"Is that all you needed father?"

"No, check their finances."

"I did and nothing. They haven't made any recent transactions."

"Hmm...alright then. Keep an eye on them. We just lost our two spies in their mafia. I need to get on our technical team so they can check the recording that we got from the bugs in their house."

"Alright, father. If that is all then I'm hanging up."

I hear a click on the otherside and then complete silence. I quickly stand up and walk over to the door before I remembered the dead thing in my room. I quickly called the maid service and they immediately enter my office.

"Clean up and make sure it's done before I get back or else the same thing will happen to you."

They nodded their heads in fear and I smiled again. God, I love being feared. It's so thrilling to see the look of utter panic and sheer dread on people's faces. With that I slam the door and walk toward the computer room.

Okay, now on to why I wanted you guys to read this author's note. So I have like two other stories that I'm writing, just in case you didn't know. And you may be asking why am I telling you guys this if you're reading this one and not the others. Well, I am unsatisfied with one of the stories that I am writing and I have decided to begin editing it. That being said, it will effect my updating schedule. So until further notice I won't be updating this story as often as I would like. Another thing that will be effecting my updating schedule is that my classes start soon. In two weeks or so, I believe. I mean I'll try to update, but it won't be every other week so this will be my last update for a while.
