Lust's POV

I sat on a hay barrel as Horror rode Athena around the grassy field of the country. The giant mare's hooves stomped into the dirt, strongly planting her in the ground for better traction.

The two of them seemed to be in tune with one another. Their teamwork amazed me.

Then, Horror turned the reins and guided the giant horse towards me, causing me to slightly get scared. They stopped in front of me.

Holding his hand out towards me, Horror pulled me onto the back of Athena. I wrapped my arms around him and rested my head against his back.

The second time of riding wasn't so bad but since she was so tall, I was still slightly nervous. I averted my attention to something else, which was the battle axe attached to the side of the saddle. The blade was glinting from the sun.

That's when my mind started to think about the height of the clydesdale.

Me: How tall is Athena?

Horror: Eighteen hands tall.

I didn't say anything which told him that I had no idea what he was talking about.

Horror: That's just agree that she's really tall.

Me: Okay.

After a few minutes of riding, we came upon the large wheat field that stretched into the horizon. Athena stopped under a tree that watched over the field.

After we ceased movement, Horror slid off the saddle. He helped me down by grabbing my waist and gently set me on the ground.

Athena walked off to eat grass as we sat under the tree. Resting into Horror's lap, I silently hummed. He was oddly quiet compared to normal.

Looking at him, I gave him a confused expression. He sighed before looking out at the horizon.

Horror: Do you believe in love at first sight?

Me: Yeah, I do.

Horror: That's what I felt when I saw you. Where we met wasn't exactly the best of places or the best situation but, nonetheless I still fell in love with you. So, you will make me a happy man and marry me?

I snuggled into his arms and smiled.

Me: Of course.

Athena seemed to sense the happiness coming from the both of us. She trotted over to investigate. We petted the end of her muzzle after she nudged us.

Horror: You want to go for a ride? For our engagement?

Me: Sure.

He picked me up and almost threw me on Athena's back. He jumped up and immediately flicked the reins, causing the giant horse to start galloping. I screamed as I held on tightly to keep myself from falling.

My fear was apparent but it eventually got better. The wind blew against my face and I could hear the breathing of the giant clydesdale.

(Time Skip)

We rode a small distance before turning around and changing to a trotting pace. I took the time to admire the scenery.

Everything was the opposite of the city that I grew up in. I would sometimes run my hand through tree leaves as we past by.

I couldn't make a decision about the future of where we would live. The countryside, a small town, or a big city.

I noticed that Horror felt most comfortable in the country but I felt most comfortable between tall buildings. It was going to be a tough choice but...

Last short chapter of the set. Hopefully back to writing longer ones. Been really busy with schoolwork so... yeah.
