HE QUIETLY SAT ON THE GRASS. His eyes fixed on the grey tomb with words carved on its hard texture, Forever Marie Ross 6659 - 6678 Her Love will Forever be in our Hearts.

The raven haired boy just sat, staring at the tomb with tears glistening on his brown eyes. She was happy, she was fine, she was smiling, laughing, joking, playing hide and seek. But all those were just a façade that masked the sad truth. She was drowning, but nobody saw her struggle.

"It's been almost a year, but it felt like forever." He finally spoke. As his eyelids flutter close tears started to cascade out his brown eyes.

The raven haired boy suddenly let out a humorless chuckle as he remembered what she said years ago.

"You can't have 'forever' in a world that isn't even permanent for it will soon just crumble down, leaving fragments of what's left behind that will soon just fade into dust."

A gust of wind swept his messy raven hair, as he stood up and shrugged the dust off his trousers, same as he shrugged the memory of when she was alive and was with him.

The raven haired guy, left without a word but thousands of thoughts crowded his chaotic mind, she was right. Nothing's permanent in a world that isn't even gonna last forever.

For he only had a year left to fix the mess, and now that she's gone, he'll only have himself to chase forever. Alone.
