Polline has recently lost her father to a gun shooting. Polline had asked if they could go out that evening. They did. Now, Polline is fatherless and taking it very hard. She feels that if she hadn't asked to go out then he would still be alive.

She was at school on day and figured out that it was said that time travel was totally possible. When she got home that day she went to her own personal science lab in her basement. She began cracking at a time machine all night. No one could sleep. It was simple, all she had to do was somehow create a time machine and then travel back to stop her father's death. She wanted to change history.

48 hours later she was finished with the time device. It was small, but that was the point she had to have it small enough to carry. Last, she needed triple A batteries to power the time device. Too bad it she didn't have any, and it was 10pm so she'd have to wait til morning. She thought that it would be good to get some sleep and then in the morning power it up and go stop her father's horrid death.

It was morning and Polline had just gotten the batteries. She rapidly put them in and set the date for the day her dad was murdered. Then in a flash her dad was in her room asking if she was ready to go to the restaurant. She tried to stop it, but she realized that she had already asked at that point and it was too late to turn back now.

They went to the restaurant. The food seemed better than it did that day. She guessed it was because this was their favorite restaurant and she hadn't eaten there since her dad died. She kept an eye on her watch as the minutes passed by. Waiting for the precise time to come so she could be ready to stop her dad's death. Too remember this moment in time she got out a Swiss army knife she brought to prevent the death, and gently carved a heart into the bottom of the table. Thinking that anything could happen now. Then it was 5 minutes before her dad's death. She watched the front door closely. She called the police when she had said that she needed to be excused because of an important call. Still watching the door telling the police to hurry.

Then, out of nowhere there the murderers were. they burst in. She watched as the murderers were just about to shoot her father. Defensively she jumped in front of her dad as they shot. Then, all in one moment she felt her life slipping away as the police burst in. She had done what she came to do. She stopped her father's death, but it had cost her her life in return. She had definitely changed history.
