Your pov

I was out patrolling again, as myself. I walked around the city keeping low. As I walked past an alley, I hear my name. "Y/n?" 

Chat's pov

I saw her walk past. "Y/n?" 

"Are you sure this is the best idea? I mean you hid yourself from Nino and the others! Even your dad!!"

 "I know that but-" 

"Is this because of that weird love thing again? It's making me sick" Plagg comments. "You're not helping at the moment!" 

"I thought you loved Shadow Hunter?!" "I do!"

 "Then what about the weird comments about y/n? You like y/n then Shadow Hunter! She's going to see you as Chat Noir-the vampire! Not Adrien the model who's been missing for a bit you know?!"

 "I know that Plagg..." the irritability in my voice rises. "If you tell her you're Adrien- then you just reveal your identity as well!"

 "I SAID I KNOW!" I growl.

"Geez, I'm just giving you the truth! Sheesh!" Plagg flies behind my shoulder. I'm not feeling good right now. "I'm-I'm just not feeling so great at the moment." "Did you sleep?" "Remember I woke up floating in mid air last night?" 

"Oh right....well when's the last time you ate anything?"

 "That's the point, I can't eat anything. The food I used to eat I can't eat anymore unless I throw it back up. Man, if only I could eat another croissant... but I can't!" I explain, "The only thing I can eat-well, drink is blood....I'm not hurting or killing anyone or anything for that!"

 "....Hmmm, well don't the hospitals have stuff like that? Don't they have that...blood?"

 " I'm not drinking any! It still came from a person!" 

"Well you'll die like that ya know" 

 "I know"  I sigh, looking at y/n walk off, "I think I should get prepared for tonight" I pull the hood of my cloak over my head. 

That night....

Your pov

I stood at center of the park, the only light that was present, were from the street lights nearby. I stood where Chat Noir told me to stand. The breeze wrapped its arms around me as it gave me chills, I was thinking about what happened earlier. 

I couldn't have Lana or Chance with me, with their appearance by themselves would expose me and Chat altogether.  I still had my doubts if I could trust Chat, but he was right, he never asked to be like this. I paced around a bit, crossing me arms tight to help shield myself from the cool air.  "Hey" I hear a familiar voice, a figure covered in the black of night landed in the grass and waled to me, revealing Chat Noir himself. "Um, hey (   . . ;)" I manage to get out. 

"You look a little down, are you alright?" he attempts to land a hand on my shoulder but I quickly step back, "I-I'm okay. Let's just figure out how we're going to stop this epidemic." 

"Sure? Erm, well I know where the mansion is, I was once an ally but apparently I left." he refers.

"Well we need to find out how to get there-inside. We need to find Dracula and kill him once and for all!"

 "Right! But.....the vampires are looking for you and a princess- the one you know....what is her name by the way?" 

"Just call her Princess. I'm the one protecting her?"

 "Okay, I get it. Maybe if you could bring the princess with you when we go there, I could pretend that maybe I caught her or something." 

"Sounds like a good idea, but I can't bring the princess in more danger than she a-already is?" I stutter at the end, as Chat walks closer to me. He held both of my hands, "There is no need to be afraid of me Shadow." 

"What? I-I'm not afraid of you! I mean....I'm just not used to seeing you like this (   ^^;)" 

Chats pov

I gave Shadow a gentle smile, hearing her slightly fast heartbeat. "I knew I should've just went out here in broad daylight" I mutter, "No! No Chat, I- I don't know, I think it's just my instincts.....you don't look too good yourself."

 "I think it's my pale skin maybe?"

 "No I mean you look exhausted." 

"I am, I didn't have a good sleep last night, compared to the sleepless nights I had before for the past few weeks."

 "How do you sleep?" she asks, "Listen, I think I know how to get in. Maybe instead of the princess, I could say that I caught you, and bring you to Dracula and then we can hit it off from there?" 

".....Yeah that sounds like a plan."

 "I'll just have to go back and try to go back to them as an ally."

 "But you was bitten by Dracula? There had to be a reason why he decided to bite you? Maybe because you're a superhero or something?" she taps her chin. "Well, he did call me Sirius all the time?" 

"Sirius Black?"

 "What?"

 "I mean, the name sounds familiar-"

 "IT IS!!! HE JUST DOESN'T LISTEN!" a small voice yells, Plagg? He flies out of my coat and floats between Shadow and I. Shadow stared at him, soon pointing a rifle at him. "NO! DON'T!" I quickly make her bring it down, "That's.....Plagg..." I chuckle nervously, giving Plagg the death stare at the same time. 

"Plagg?! What is that thing!?" she asks in alarm, "It's okay, he's a friend of mine. He's actually a kwami, a magical being that helps me transform into Chat Noir. But I can't take my suit off ever since I was bitten." 

"This is the girl you kissed? I can't believe you fell for her" he sighs, a bit annoyed.

"Plagg!"

 "Adr-You already know it! You love her more than y/-mfph! MMMMMHHPPPFF-" I grabbed Plagg out of the air so he could stop. 

"Sorry about that, he can talk a bit too much!"

 "Ohhh, I can see that?" she raises a brow at Plagg, "SHE ALMOST BLEW ME OUT!!!" he yells, I covered him with my other hand, if only Shadow wasn't here I'd- "Well, erm, I'm sorry Plagg about what just happened. I thought you was a vampire for a second with the fangs and all-" Plagg slips out of my closed hands, 

"A WHAT?! I'm not one of those blood sucking things-" 

"*AHEM*" 

Plagg looks at me, nervously smiling, "I'm a cat! He's a cat! I'm mean look at the ears and tail, well besides the fact they have fur and all ever since your Chat Noir became a werecat-" 

"Okay! Enough!" I stop Plagg, as Shadow was laughing making me blush a little. 

"Well I can go back to the mansion and see what I can do" 

"Alright then.....Oh! Um, Chat, I have a question to ask you! Have you ever heard of-of an invisible rose before?" she asks, "I believe so, the vampires over at the mansion shown me around, and they had this huge rose garden full of roses, but there was a bush full of invisible roses. The only way I could see them was by water droplets  on them....that's all I can remember. What is it for?" 

"The princess asked me to grab her a rose. I can go with you when we get to the mission. They most likely won't let you go to that area-especially with what just happened between you all" she explains. "I understand" I smile.

 Shadow walks up to me, caressing her hand on my cheek. I gently placed my hand on hers, "I'll bring you and the others back Chat. I promise." she attempts to let go but I kept my hold on her hand. "I hope that this will be over soon." 

"I hope so too-and it will be. But as of now, I have to go- I'm not even supposed to have this type of contact to my tribes enemy, I cannot be out for too long" she gives me a sad look. I bring her hand to my mouth and pressed my lips against her hand. "Until then?" 

"Until then."

We looked into each others eyes, until Shadow suddenly looked away, then glanced at me noticing the confused expression on my face. Is she blushing? "It's just that people aren't supposed to look into a vampire's eyes, they..."

 "I know. I still haven't got full control of my powers. I don't want to do more harm than good." I understood what she meant.

I took a breath, standing in front of the large eerie mansion. I opened the large creaking metal gates. "Are you sure you're ready for this kid?" Plagg whispers in my ear, "No, but I'm doing this for thousands of others-maybe even millions." I reply back as I walked up the stairs of the mansion and made it inside. 

"Weird. The doors aren't locked this time" Plagg looks around from my shoulder, that is weird actually. It's like they were expecting me or something. "I'm very pleased that you decided to come back, Sirius." a menacing laugh echoed through the empty mansion.

 Plagg and I looked around, Plagg's expressions are starting to frighten me. He never seem to be this afraid. "Plagg, behind me" I refer to him to hide. He quickly does so, and by the time  he makes it, a door opens, Dracula himself walks in, seeing me, with the evil smirk on his face.

 "I knew you would come back." he walks up to me. 

"You're still the same way like before. Rebellious, care-free, and determined to get what you want- someone fit for us....if it wasn't for my son being the next leader. You could've been it." he walks around me. 

"I knew you'd come back-like a teenager running away from home. But, I'm glad that you have come to your senses." 

"Yeah...I just needed some time to recollect myself or whatever." 

"So you have decided to come back to your original home then.....you look exhausted, come." he turns and walks off as I follow him. It felt weird to feel emotions, but no heart to store them in. 

The feeling of anxiety about the situation yet my heart was not pounding against my chest. It's been a long time since I was in this place. It was weird, but compared to what I had to go through outside, this seems a lot better, at least I don't have to worry about the sun or anything. Chat stick to the plan and don't make yourself too comfy!!

I followed him into a dark room in which the candles lit themselves. "I think it's time for you to rest. Maybe we can talk later on, I must tend to my wife and son"

 "Sure grandpa(¬_¬)."

 "What?ಠ_ಠ" 

"See ya later(･Θ･;)" I look at him.

 He gives me a glance, then leaves, closing the door. I exhale a breath I didn't know I was holding in. Plagg flew out in front of me. "You really held up huh?" 

"I guess so! I'm surprised he let me in!"

 ".....yeah"

 "What's wrong?" I look at Plagg, who flew to the window, looking at the moon outside. 

"....It's just that...I-I don't know how to explain this and I feel bad for holding this in like-Adrien...you know I seen him before right?" he looks at me sadly. 

I felt my ears droop, "I'm-I'm sorry Adrien. For the first time in a long time I feel like I actually failed my owner-you. I'm the one that is supposed to protect you!" tears spilled from his eyes. 

"Plagg it's not your fault. None of this is your fault." I walk up to him, "It is!" he exclaims. 

 "I-The reason Dracula keeps calling you Sirius is because you look so much like him....except his hair or more lighter than your blonde hair." 

"Why is everyone comparing me to a guy I never knew?!" 

"Because Sirius was you!" he yells. "What? Do you mean by that?"  I whisper, letting him know to lower his voice. 

Plagg went down to a whisper as well, "Sirius was actually, one of the Chat Noir's in the past. He....he was the one who saw everything. It was like in the castle days or something like that- kings, queens, princesses and princes. Sirius was one of my owners......and so was Dracula."
