"I.....I'm from Hidelington, and yes I haven't told a lot of myself. But it was for a reason and you have to understand that! Can I really trust you?" I look at him in the eyes.

 To think I had to hide two other people from him. I was a Vampire Hunter, a school girl, and the real me- a princess. 

Even I don't know how I could've kept up with all of this at the same time, in the very moment I asked Chat if I could trust him, I was asking myself the same thing, 'Could I trust myself? Can I trust myself to tell him?' I looked around to make sure no one else was here to eavesdrop. "....Fine."

 "You must promise not to tell?" 

"Promise.....so you're Shadow the Vampire Hunter who knows the princess?" I nod. 

"Well then, I understand now. I'll keep my promise." 

"The thing is, my people cannot know about you, they will instantly kill you" 

"Alright then. I guess I'll see you tomorrow night and we can talk more" he turns his back to me, glancing and smirking before jumping off. "........" I slid down to my butt on the floor, sighing in relief.  

But one person was on the back of my mind.....Adrien. The more I thought of him, the more I became conflicted with myself, Chat Noir- a vampire, or Adrien- a model who is yet to be found.

Your pov

I made it back home, hearing commotion in the background downstairs. I slipped in the window of my room, quickly closing it. I ran down stairs, and noticed a few maids looking up at me, "Y/n!" one of them cries to me, "What is it?" I ask, confused, seeing a few others cry in despair, tears running down their faces. 

"Miss, the King and Queen-your p-parents..." she fell into a short sob, keeping her shaking voice as steady as she could. 

"Th-they both...somehow fell very i-ill. While you were gone, they both decided to patrol the city, before sunset, and they came back sick! They're in a horrific state right now!!!" 

"I-I'm sorry what?" I shake my head in disbelief, another came up to me.

 "The doctor, checked them both out and apparently they're both poisoned! No cure could be found!"

 "I-"

 "They want to see you! Now!" she leads me to my parents. When we both arrived, my heart fell to pieces. Both of them in their bed, under covers, my mom looked at me,  " Y....n,  thank goodness you're here" she coughs.

 "My Queen, are you sure you can handle this?" 

"Yes, I got it." she slowly sits up. Both my mom and dad were so pale! Their skin was a bit lighter than normal (or they looked very tired and weak). 

I went to her, seeing my dad, sitting up. Both of them held my hands, "Sweetheart..." my dad trails off, "D-Dad?" my voice starts to break, "Y/n, don't you dare cry! Be strong for-for" she goes into a coughing fit, "-for us! The doctor told us the cause of this.....listen carefully as I only have the energy to say this o-once...........When we was patrolling the city to get a better understanding of what was going on, we were-was attacked by a painful energy blast from a duo of vampires, they're-they both poisoned us. The energy blast must've contained a very poisonous herb, as it smelled of foliage a bit- the reason we tell you this: the only way that we can be cured is by a very rare plant....th-th-the invisible rose...."  she coughs.

"Invisible rose?" 

"Yes...for this antidote to work, you'll need a crushed emerald-emerald dust, and the rose to be crushed and broken as well. Get some water and mix it in and feed it into our mouths....y/n...." 

"No! I-I can get it right now! You both won't have to die on me then!!! Please! Mom! Dad-"

 "Y/n..... the only place the rose can be found is in the rose garden of the mansion on the other side...." she refers. 

"The doctor gave us both a medication that will send us off into a slumber so it'll reduce the speed of the poison spreading throughout our bodies.....y/n we will not be able to lead the tribe once we both fall asleep. It is up to you to lead the tribe in our absence...." dad manages to get out, tears fall from my face, "I-I don't know how to be a leader like you guys....please don't leave me like this!" I cry.

 "Y/n...the emerald dust is under the floorboard under the dresser in here" my mom points before lying down, closing her eyes. 

"M-MOM! Mom!"

 "Y/n, we know that you'll defeat them once and for all. Be a good girl for us, we love you...." dad falls asleep right after, both of their hands now limp. 

How can I be a leader when it was my fault the ambush happened at the ball? They're literally looking for me, the vampires are looking for two people who are the same person. 

I'm.....not good enough to be a leader.
