✥Chapter 17: Overwhelmed✥  

Chat's pov

I hopped into my room from the window and close it quickly. I de transformed, flopping on the bed. "Plagg I don't know what to do anymore. Y/n was on my mind the whole time it happened" I tiredly rubbed  my hands over my face. How do I choose?

I ran into the forest and into the village, running into someone again.  This time we tumbled cross the ground. "Ow... Now my head hurts *sniff* I apolo-Chase what are you doing out here this time of night!?" he helps me up.

"What happened to you?! Did you fight something?" 

"Chase never mind about that! Listen, a wolf attacked Chat Noir and I!" 

"WHAT?!"

 "Shhh!"  "I fought it off but it injured Chat! It scratched me as well but I didn't say anything about it!" 

"Was it rabid?"

 "That thing was a vampire! I threw the powder on it and it burned to ashes!" "So they're sending out wild animals to attack Paris now. Greeeaaat, come on, I'll help bandage your arm." 

"Chase this ain't the weekend. I have maid service at my place ya know." 

"Oh um , r-right ^^; well, just remember tomorrow everyone goes to the auditorium in the morning-first thing." "Kay, 'night" "Sweet dreams honey." "Stop it!"

I lie there, staring at the ceiling, "Chat has no idea what he's falling in." I thought about Adrien, and Chat Noir....they both sound the same, but there's no way  both are the same, I mean Chat's hair is different, and no way Adrien would wear something like that....wait I forgot he's a model-I MEAN he wouldn't model those type of clothes, maybe Januis would......Januis....he's annoying but he's hot! I never seen his face-well his eyes. Maybe its a condition. Every day at lunch break, so many girls would hang around him, even Chloe- so no use to that. What if..no way Januis is Chat Noir!  *gag* The images of his jet black hair came into mind, then next thing you know I fell asleep without even knowing it.

The next day

All three of us sat in the auditorium that was filled up with a lot of people. "I feel a lot better though" I look around still seeing a few sick looking people. "Hm." taps on the microphone  caught everyone's attention. The principal was on the stage behind the podium, "Bonjour" 

"Bonjour"

 "Goood morning everyone. This morning, I will talk to you about a big event happening at our  school. We will be hosting our Masquerade Ball the week after next, Friday, October 31 on Halloween. As we all know you'll need to have a mask at this party since this is about mystery-its optional but we will be doing a grand reveal at a specific time. This event will take place in La Grande Hotel, everyone please dress nicely. Hand-outs will be handed out during first period for more information. Thank you and you all may be dismissed." everyone got up and started leaving, talking at the same time. 

"Wow! I think I already know who to ask!!!" Lana laughs. 

"I'm not going." I cross my arms.

"WHAT?!" Chase and Lana ask at the same time, "Why not?! You should go! "

 "I'm not going to some silly dance where people make out and all that other mushy stuff, I have better things to do." I roll my eyes. 

"Y/n you could probably find Chat Noir there!!" Lana tries to encourage, I almost choked on my spit when I heard his name.

 We walk out of the auditorium, and part ways to our classes. I passed by a crowd of girls around Januis, asking him to be their mate to the dance....I MEAN DATE! Date to the dance. Yeah.....

I saw my classroom up ahead and almost bump into Felix. "What?" "Y/n -" "I'm not going to the dance with you if you're asking."

 "Then choose me  y/n!" I turn and see a different guy asking me, I paced to my classroom quickly before more could come. 

I ran into the class and saw Adrien, "I don't know if she'll go with me or not!" 

"Adrien, why are you talking to your satchel?" I startled him, "Uh, hey Y/n! I was looking for my homework!" he scratches the back of his neck.

 "We don't have homework."

 "For my Gym-er, Languange Arts class!" 

"Its, not a talking satchel from Japan right?" I raise my eyebrow. 

He gives off a small laugh, "Can I see you after school today? For the project?" he asks, I nod, "Sure"
