Humanity is not something that can be defined
Humanity is fluid and ever changing from one form to the next
Humanity has a Spirit
A Spirit many want to submit to their will

Humanity is all about Spirit
The Spirit allows us to rise from the ashes

It fuels us
It protects us
It encourages us
It allows us to fight
It allows us to LOVE

Spirit ends us
It makes us put ourselves in harm's way for love or a goal
It tells us that when we are at our physical breaking point to keep going

What is Humanity?
Is it defined by compassion?
Death?
Love?
Intelligence?
Different versions of God and religion?
Or a perception of everything in the Universe?

They all are factors but Humanity is a Spirit
The Spirit that the slave owners in the South of the US in 1800s and before tried to destroy
The Spirit that slave owners today break so they can traffick children

Humanity is that fighting Spirit that makes us want to stop the bad in the world or achieve our dreams

Humanity is HOPE

And hope raises us like a Phoenix
