My mother once told me

'Love' is a 'Bug'.

It makes you feel warm inside,

'Protected' and 'Snug'

"Love can be spread by touch.

Just think of a hug."

Now I was confused, "how can love be a bug?

Can a bug make you feel warm? 

Can it give you a hug?" 

Now I walk through life thinking about what she meant.

'If love is a bug, then

 what else did it represent?'

My father used to scold me

" 'Hate is a drug.'

Some  people get addicted like the

Nazis and thugs"

I was just a kid,

"What the hell is a thug?

Isn't hate an emotion?

Stop throwing these slugs.

Hate isn't physical and everyone knows it.

How're you going to get addicted if you can't even hold it?"  

Now my big mouth is what got me scolded.

I said "I hate my older brother",

Dug my grave then Rolled in it. 

Again I was a kid,

Age of only Eight.

But now that I'm older i sit back and contemplate.

Changed my perspective,

Caught on a little too late.

It makes sense in a sense, 

I'm talking in present tense.

Looking back when I was young I was always kinda dense.

Icy veins bloody eyes,

My life has always been intense.

Hateful heart Loving mind,

Soon to be serving death on a life sentence.

And when I reach the pearly gates,

I'll ask god for his forgiveness.

I'm on a fixed schedule, 

there's no room for repentance.

If you all gave up on me; 

No room for acceptance.

"Now remember 'Forgive and Forget'"

Bet all of you forgot 'I am not made for forgetfulness'.

And forget me not.

Life is a game;

The main players been shot.

Hang your head in shame,

Tainted lessons you've taught.

Illegitimate fame.

I hope you don't get caught.

You don't know me or my scars.

Less the battles I've fought.

Bring your worst if you can.

The best has just been brought.

I got Ice in my Veins and Blood in my Eyes.

I've become numb to the world,the betrayal, and lies.

Living with Hate in my Heart and Love in my Mind.

I tried once to be human, but Trust only makes you blind.
