"Truth or Dare." Gabriel whispered.

Sam looked up from his book at the boy in front of him.

"Excuse me?" He asked, frowning.

"Truth or Dare, Sammy." He repeated.

"It's Sam. And why?"

"I'm bored." Gabriel shrugged.

Sam sighed and closed his book. "Truth."

Gabriel groaned. "You're supposed to say 'Dare' but okay. Do you...have a crush on anyone?" He asked innocently.

Sam rolled his eyes and bitch faced him. "Of course that's the question."

"Yes it is. Now answer it." He demanded, unwrapping a lollipop.

Sam blushed a little and pouted. "No."

"No you wont answer it or no you don't have a crush."

"No...I don't have a...crush on anyone." He mumbled, avoiding eye contact with Gabriel.

Gabriel narrowed his eyes at him but shrugged. "Okay."

Sam opened his book again and continued to read, thinking that was the only question when-

"Truth or Dare." Gabriel said again.

Sam glared at him. "No."

Gabriel glared back. "Yes."

"Dare."

Gabriel smirked and pulled the candy out of his mouth. "I dare you to fall in love with me."

Whoa whoa whoa what?! Let's have a little backstory, shall we?

Gabriel was known as the class clown who adored candy and people. Well unless you were a bad person.

Then Sam Winchester shows up as the new student and then Gabriel became the class clown who adored candy and people, especially Sammy Winchester.

As soon as he found out Sam was single and ready to mingle, Gabriel had begun his pining. Everyone thought he was just gonna tease him and probably prank him but no. All that was pushed aside and replaced by a crush.

Sam knew this of course but didn't really care at first. Then he actually started talking to Gabriel and he had to swear to himself not to fall in love with the boy, which was difficult, but that's why they weren't really close friends.

Now Gabriel was daring him to fall in love with him?!

"What?!" Sam shrieked, a few people turned to look and began to whisper.

Gabriel smiled widely and swayed the lollipop stick between his fingers.

"You heard me."

Sam closed his book and gathered his things, preparing to leave.

"I am not going to fall in love with you." He began walking out of the library.

Gabriel hopped off the table he was on and followed the moose.

"Oh come on! Valentine's Day is this Sunday and I don't have anyone to celebrate with! Come on my love."

Sam scoffed and hurried out of the library. "No."

"Too bad, I'm coming home with you."

Sam turned around and glared at him. "No you're not."

"Uh, yeah I am. Cassie's going over to make out with your brother so I get to come." He laughed.

"This isn't fair!" Sam protested.

Gabriel laughed even more. "Lighten up, Sammy." He said before kissing his cheek and going down stairs.

"GABRIEL!" Sam yelled running after him.

It had been three days. It was now Sunday and Gabriel had not left the house.

They were in the living room while Sam's parents were out at dinner and Dean and Cas snuck out to some hotel for sex.

So Sam and Gabriel stayed home and were currently watching Grease for some reason. Gabriel was very into it.

Over the last three days, Sam actually got to know the moose lover more. And even though he didn't want to admit it, he was becoming one of his closest friends. Friends.

"I could totally pull off that hair." Gabriel said, tossing a Skittles into his mouth.

Sam rolled his eyes and yawned. "You already have that hair. Just needs more grease in it."

"That's not very punny." Gabe said, throwing Skittles at him.

Sam pouted and threw his M&M's at him. And that just progressed into the boys throwing candy at each other.

Gabriel screamed out and jumped on him, pinning his wrist against the arm rest.

Sam looked up at him with wide eyes.

Neither of them said anything for a while. Sam began moving his wrist, trying to break free.

"Sam." Gabriel whispered.

He stopped moving and looked back at him. "What?"

"I um...you..." he mumbled, blushing.

"Gabriel what are you trying to tell me?"

Gabe moved off of him and sat back in his space. "Sam...do I annoy you?"

Sam sat up and stared at him. "What? No...?"

"I mean-- you're not only being my friends cause I dared you? Right?" He asked. This was getting kinda emotional.

Sam moved closer to him. "What no. Gabe you don't annoy me and you are my friend."

"Right...friend..."

"Please don't think that you're annoying. You're like super awesome and stuff..." Sam smiled. "I honestly don't know why I didn't get to know you before."

Gabriel's face lit up and he jumped on Sam again nuzzling into his chest.
Sam laughed and hugged him tightly.

"Sam..."

"Hmm?"

"You're in love with my aren't you?" Gabriel said, sitting up.

Sam groaned loudly and got up, storming into his room. "No Gabriel! No!" What a perfectly good way to ruin the moment.

Gabriel burst out laughing and ran after him.

They had no idea how this happened.

They were both minding their own business, Sam's parents got home and went to bed. Dean and Cas were still gone and Sam and Gabe were supposed to be sleeping.

But somehow someone threw a pillow at the other and it just escalated.

It was around four in the morning and they were throwing pillows at each other and laughing way too hard.

And somehow they both ended up on the floor trying to catch their breaths, leaning against the side of Sam's bed.

"Shhh! My parents will hear!" Sam shushed, covering his mouth.

Gabriel giggled harder and tried to stop, and that's when Sam kissed his cheek.

Gabriel looked at him in shock, his laughter faltering.

They stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity.

Sam swore not to fall in love with Gabriel because he had been hurt too much
But it was four in the morning and they were laughing too hard
And for the for the first time in a long time...he was happy
And he knew he was screwed.

He closed the space between them.
