Bon stayed quiet, waiting for his friends reaction. He had just arrived and told them what he had done. With Shima it only took ten seconds before he broke into a big smile, "Awesome! So when is he gonna be here, do you think he'll want to sleep with you?"

"What?!" Bon asked, startled at Shima's reaction. "Oh, nothing," Shima smirked. Bon raised his hand about to bring it down on his friend's head when Konekomaru finally spoke up.

"Why did you do it Bon? Have you forgotten what happened, the blue night killed our family, your temple became outcast-ed because of it."

Bon frowned looking away, "I know but it isn't Rin's fault, he wasn't the one to unleash the blue flames on the priests. I believe we shouldn't judge on one's parents but on the person's soul. Rin is a nice guy, he just has a messed up family, can't you give him a chance, please?" Konekomaru stared at Bon for a whole minute before nodding, "I'll try" "Thanks,"Bon smiled. Shima slung his arm over Bon's shoulders and smiled, "It's settled then."

-Somewhere in Mephisto's kitchen-

Rin hummed happily, cooking was truly the only thing that made him feel special. Seeing people's happy faces as they eat is truly a gift he has always loved, his heart warming up if only for a little while.

He moved accordingly almost in sync with Ukobatch, who was cutting some vegetables while he himself prepared the meat. They had decided on doing Rin's favorite, sukiyaki.

Rin felt a strong sense of contentment, something he hadn't felt since the last field trip his cram school had taken. Here he didn't have to try to act a certain way, he wasn't expected to do something, or being somebody else. He could be himself, show his true feelings. 

Mephisto and Amaimon were always nice to him, he admits he hated them at first, specially Amaimon who was the one that forced him to show who he really was, but after time ,however, he learned that that was his brother's way of showing his affection towards somebody. 

Mephisto took him in ,and although he had twisted ways of showing his affection, he was always watching intently so when something went wrong he could immediately get in the way and solve everything himself. 

Rin sigh looking towards the set table. "Rin, are you alright?" a soft voice asked from beside him. Rin jumped slightly at the sudden noise but at seeing a certain demon cat he smiled, "Don't worry I'm fine, but hey were were you?" Kuro didn't look convinced but let it slide, for now.

"I was..." "Hey little brother," Amaimon said suddenly appearing behind him. "aaah, don't do that what's up with people sneeking up on me." Rin yelled. Amaimon raised an eyebrow but said nothing instead walking towards the food.

"I'm hungry," "well you'll have to wait, sit at the table." Rin said, slapping Amaimon's hand away. Amaimon pouted but did as told. "Ukobatch is the food ready?" Rin asked. Ukobatch nodded and Rin took the pot from the stove taking it toward the table and putting it on the middle.

Just then Mephisto walked in. "Hey aniki time to eat," Amaimon said in a monotous voice. Mephisto nodded looking slightly worried. "Is everything alright?" Rin asked. Mephisto's smile came back and he laughed. "I am alright I'm always alright but right now I'm hungry what have you and Ukobatch done for us today." With that they started to eat, fooling and joking around.

After washing he dishes the three demon brothers and a cat moved to the living room where they played video games and saw a couple of animes.

"Ahhh," Rin yawned stretching his arms above his head. He looked towards the clock to see it was already three in the morning. "I think I'm going to sleep, good night." Rin whispered standing to go away. "Umm, Rin?" Mephisto said unsure. Rin stopped and looked at his brother, who avoided eye contact. "Yeah?" Rin asked.

Mephisto played with his hat for a minute before sighning and looking up. "I have decided you will be rooming with Suguro, Shima, and Konekomaru." Rin stared at him for a moment before yelling, "what?! Why?" Mephisto stood up and approached his youngest brother trying to put his hand on his shoulder but Rin moved away from him.

"Look Rin it wasn't really my doing Suguro came into my office today and asked for you to room with them, I thought it would be better for you if you actually lived with people your age. And they are your friends."

Rin shook his head backing away toward the door. "They are not my friends!" He yelled before running out he room and towards his bedroom. Mephisto sigh and pinched the brook of his nose. Had he really made a good decision?

-Next Day-

Rin groaned loudly while walking towards cram school. After Mephisto told him he was going to now room with Bon and the others he hadn't been able to fall asleep so he ended up walking to school early deciding to skip breakfeast he got out of the mansion and walked to school.

During the day teachers kept on calling on him, making him look dumb in front of everyone, and to top it of for some reason some kids decided it was a good idea to pick a fight with him. Yep, best day of his life.

As he went into Yukio's classroom he noticed that everyone was already there and briskly walked toward the back sitting on the desk he had been sitting on since everybody found out. Groaning again he let his head fall on the desk, closing his eyes.

He was nodding off when he felt somebody seat besides him. With shock he flinched and sat up straight scooting away from the person. "Woah there, don't worry Rin it's me Bon," Bon said, reaching out and grabbing Rin's arm just in time before he fell.

"Bo...Bon?" Rin stuttered sitting down and hugging his hand to his chest. "Yeah." Bon nodded encouraging. "What are you.." "Good evening class, today we will be having a test on types of demons please take out a pencil," Yukio interrupted.

Bon frowned glaring at Yukio. Yukio looked towards them, "Suguro what are you doing there?" He asked. "What does it seem, I'm sitting down, problem?" Bon snarled, grimacing and looking towards Rin again. Rin moved in his seat uncomfortably. "Bon" Shima and Konekomaru whispered, trying but failing to get their friends attention.

Yukio glared slightly before starting to pass out the tests, slamming Bon's in front of him. "When you're done you can go," with that he sat at his desk, looking, glaring, toward where Bon and Rin where sitting.

Bon looked at the test and started to answer everything. Once done he looked to side to see Rin with a very concentrated look on his face, his tongue slightly sticking out. He continued to stare until Rin smiled.

Rin got up and walked toward Yukio's desk, his sword on his shoulder. Bon got up and followed him, setting his paper on Yukio's desk he walk after Rin.

"Rin, wait up!" Bon yelled. Rin stopped and looked at him. When Bon catched up he looked at Rin with a soft look smiling. "What do you want?" Rin asked starting to walk away. "I was just wondering if you knew where our room is."

Rin looked at him and then nervously played with his swords strap. "No" Bon nodded and carefully took Rin's hand in his pulling him behind him. Rin flinched and pulled slightly.

"I will not room with you, I'd rather sleep outside," Bon stopped. "Come on Rin, please give us another chance, please, I promise I won't hurt you ever again, just one more hance is all I ask for," Bon pleaded. Rin looked into his eyes, examining them carefully as if looking for some kind of lie in them, finding none, he sigh nodding his head. "I will, but only one chance." Bon smiled starting to walk again, "That's all I need."

A/N: I am so sorry, a lot has happened this past weeks, I caught the flue, my teachers decided it was a good idea to pack homework on me and my internet decided to malfunction, so I wasn't able to update. Sorry.  Thank you for reading this book I hope you are enjoying it.
