Rin smiled softly at the sight before him. Bon now wearing an exorcist uniform gracefully moved between demons, shooting his guns all around. Bon had become somewhat taller and through his uniform you could see he had grown muscles. The start of a moustache clearly showing.

"Two years, huh?" Rin muttered. Quickly moving down from the two story building he was in he hid in the darkness of the alley. Only bon was here, he had gotten separated from the rest of the group. Rin smiled and mentally told all demons to go back to his father.

He looked as a confused Bon stared as all demons suddenly turned, bowed, and ran/flew away. "What the hell?" Bon whispered. Rin couldn't help it, he chuckled. Bon visibly stiffened before suddenly relaxing, surprising Rin. "I know it's you Rin. I could never forget your voice or laugh."

Now it was Rin's turn to stiffen, he was not ready to face him. "Rin?" Bon asked. Rin took a deep breath before stepping forwards into the light.

Bon gasped loudly as Rin came into the light. Rin's hair was now shoulder long. Still in capes but the longest one gently rested on his shoulder. He wore a somewhat loose electric blue t-shirt, a black cape with blue and silk lacings over it, and black skinny jeans. He also wore black combat boots with a silver dragon on the sides, his sword could be seen hanging from a brown belt on his slender waist.

Rin was still the same size, it didn't look like he had grown much but his eyes showed amusement and a happiness Bon had not seen since the accident with Amaimon.

"Rin..." he whispered again. He just couldn't believe it. "That's my name," Rin bowed his head slightly, a small smile ever present on his face, "do me a favor and don't wear it out can you." Bon suddenly laughed out loud before running to Rin and enveloping him in a hug. "Rin! I can't believe it, I thought you were never going to come back. I thought you'd forgotten..." Bon felt tears silently slide down his face.

Rin pushed him a little and looked up at him, tears rmming his beutiful blue eyes. "I missed you too." Bon's heart skipped a beat, Rin looked so beautiful. "I'm sorry I didn't come earlier, I had to finish my exorcist and prince studies, and then last year a rebellion lead by Astaroth broke out, so that took another year to tackle."

Bon kissed Rin's forehead before pushing away from him. Both faces blushing they looked at each other for minutes before Rin finally broke the silence. "Bon about what you said before you ran off..."

Bon blushed even harder, he of course remembered that but he hadn't thought Rin would still remember. "Rin, don't worry about it, I'm sorry if I offended you or something. I..." Rin put his hand to Bon's lips, laughing silently. "Don't worry about it Bon. If I tell you the truth, what you said is what helped me these two years. I love you Ryuji."

Rin went in and hugged Bon tightly. He had missed him so much it hurt at times. So many times he had wanted to leave everything and run to Bon's arms, specially during the small civil war. So many friends had died that he thought he wouldn't be able to handle it but now that he was here he knew it had all been worth it. Rin felt Bon hug him back too and after a second a hand under his chin. Looking up their eyes met before their lips collided. It was a simple kiss only a peck, but it was wonderful. No fireworks in the background, no electric shock through his body like most said a kiss would feel. But there was love in that kiss. A love he had never had before.

"I love you Rin, and I always will," Bon whispered. Rin smiled and rested his head against Bon's chest. "I love you too, Ryuji."

Walking slowly, they made their way down town where Bon now owned a small house. Surprisingly enough, Mephisto had given it to him as a present when he became an exorcist. The others, Izumo, Shiemi, Konekomaru, Shima and the puppet guy(sorry always forget his name. Tanaka?) received different presents too but none like Bon's.

Bon contently smiled as he let Rin swing their interlocked hands. He still couldn't believe this was happening. "Bon!" A voice abruptly snapped him out of his thought. Looking back he saw Shima and Koneko running towards him. "Hey!" he yelled back. He started feeling nervous, what are they going to do when they see Rin?

He didn't have to wait long before they stopped and stared at Rin, who was now twitching and hugging Bon's arm. "Rin?" Shima asked. Rin nervously waved but said nothing. "Oh my god! It is you, hey guys Rin's back. He's really back!" Shima yelled. Soon Yukio, Shiemi, Izumo and Shura appeared. Shura running straight towards them. "Rin you little wimp!" She yelled before tackling Rin to the ground." Rin you're going to pay, leaving without telling me. Then when I ask Mephisto only smiles and says you're in hell! What the, Rin tell me where you were right now or I promise I'm going to skin you alive!" Rin started to laugh before hugging a startled Shura. "I missed you, Shura." Rin hugged her tighter before letting go. Shura smiled warmly at him before pecking his forehead quickly, blushing furiously before helping him stand up. "And I missed you kid, and to all of you tell anybody I kissed him and you shalt not live." "Yes, ma'am." everybody said.

"Rin," Yukio said. Rin seemed to flinch but still looked towards his brother, brightly smiling at him. "Hey, Yukio long time no see." Yukio strode towards Rin and slapped him. "Hey!" Bon yelled taking out his guns and pointing them at Yukio. "Heh, you haven't changed much have you, little brother," Rin chuckled, caressing his cheek. Yukio frowned but went in to hug Rin. "Rin I was worried sick, Mephisto wouldn't tell me where you were, you didn't call, I didn't know if you were dead or alive." Yukio held Rin at arms length. "Rin it's been two years where have you been." Rin could only smirk, "Wouldn't you like to know." Yukio glared down at Rin. "Rin tell me, I deserve to know." Bon coughed at that.

"Yukio, excuse me but things are going to start to change, you don't have to worry about me. I'm your big brother, I'm the one that should be protecting you." Rin shook Yukio's hands off his shoulders and smiled lovingly at his brother. "I was with father, mom and the old man. I got to meet my brothers and I made friends. I stopped a rebellion with father and I got myself together." Yukio stared dumbly at Rin. "And a boyfriend," Bon muttered from behind Rin. Everybody, except Shira who clapped in excitement, gasped.

"Hahaha, good job kid. I'm glad to know you're alright now." Shura laughed messing Rin's hair. "You're boyfriends," Shima asked. Bon nodded while Rin muttered a shy yes. "Aww, this is awesome, you guys look cute together," Shima gushed. "Rin if this perv ever tries something call me ok. I'll alway stick up for you." "Shima!" Bon blushed redder than a tomato, before all color drained from his face as a sword was pressed against his throat. "Harm Rin in any way and you'll wish you were never born," Shura muttered in a creepily low voice, her eyes colder than ice. "Ye...Yes ma'am," Bon stuttered. Rin laughed heartily hugging Bon's arm, "Wait until I tell my brothers!" Bon gulped at that. "I'm going to die." "Not unless you hurt Rin," Shima said, enjoying this too much.

"Rin," a small voice said from besides Yukio. Everybody turned to a shaking Shiemi. "Shiemi," Rin smiled. "Rin, I'm so sorry. I really meant no harm by what I did, it's just that you being a...it surprised me and..." "Hey, it's okay that happened long ago, I've already forgiven you all, don't worry," Rin gave the biggest smile yet. Bon felt proud to be called his boyfriend. Yukio put a protective arm around Shiemi and pulled her close. Rin looked at Bon in curiosity, Bon could only nod. After Shiemi become an exorcist it only took four months before those two started dating. Also, although Izumo won't admit it, Shima and Izumo had also gotten closer and gone on dates making them a couple. Shima caught Rin's question and smiled widely, he himself throwing his arm around Izumo. "Isn't this awesome in the end we all ended with somebody we loved." Izumo looked away in a pout but looked toward Rin quickly before looking away again, "good to see you, Rin."

Rin smiled, feeling himself be hugged by the waist he looked up at Bon's smiling face. "Love you," Bon whispered into Rin's ear kissing his temple lightly. "Love you too," Rin whispered back. "Hey you better keep your greedy hand away from Rin." Shura yelled pushing Bon away and putting an arm around Rin. Rin laughed, this was better than he ever imagined coming back would be like. He hadn't imagined this even in his wildest dreams. Only thing that could make this better was some sukiyaki. "Hey what you say I make some sukiyaki." A chorus of yes answered his voice.

Rin stared at the bright twinkling stars as he breath in the cool night air. It was now three months since he came back and although he missed his family he was happy. Everybody treated him normally, everybody had accepted him for who he was. There was still people that were hostile towards him but he knew that's how it was going to be, and he accepted it. As long as he had his friends, and family he was alright. "Hey there, what you thinking about?" Bon's voice called from the edge of the ceiling. Rin sat and smiled. "I'm happy." Bon pushed himself onto the roof and came to sit besides Rin. "Oh yeah, I'm glad, I hate it when you're sad." Bon pulled Rin into a hug and kissed his forehead. Rin giggled and pulled Bon down with him, staring up at the stars.

"I'm glad I got to meet you." Rin whispered. Bon looked at Rin's big blue eyes. "I'm glad too, I don't think I would be who I am today if it wasn't for you." Rin leaned in close to Bon and took in his scent. They were really close, their relationship was stronger than ever and he couldn't be happier. "First day tomorrow, huh?" Bon asked. Rin nodded. Since staying with his father he couldn't really bring himself to go out and kill demons, he had seen their nice side and just couldn't do it, instead he became an exorcist doctor, but since that wasn't a real job he decided to go to college and become a psychologist. He didn't want other kids that were going through hard times to feel like they were alone, like he had felt.

"I know you're going to great, just you wait soon you'll be the best psychologist in all Japan." Rin laughed lightly before closing his eyes, "Thank you Bon, you didn't give up on me even when I did." Bon hugged him tightly kissing his forehead. "You were never alone Rin, and you will never be. I love you Rin and that will never change." Rin could only smile sadly. "But you'll leave me Bon, I'll live way longer than you." "Don't think about that, and even if I die, I'll always be with you." "Promise." "Promise, now come on stop being sad, we're alive and together we should celebrate. Mephisto said he was throwing a dinner for you didn't he." Rin smiled, everything was going to be alright, everything was alright now.

A/N: Okay so this is the end of the story. I know this story was all over the place, but when I started it I had not planned anything for it I just did it 'cause I was bored.
