Monster!Bakugou
Monster Hunter!Deku

Izuku yawned and stretched once he finished pitching his tent. He checked his surroundings with tired eyes, his dying fire casting a soft glow. The sensors all had that soft, blinking green light, signaling they're all on and operating.

The greenette raised his head, looking into the surrounding trees. Insects chirped away and the nearby stream babbled. So far, no signs aside from week-old tracks of the monster said to be occupying the area. Though, he did only just start his search that afternoon.

Twenty-six-year-old Izuku Midoriya is a Professional Monster Hunter. He one of the best in the business. No, this isn't like Supernatural where the monsters are real but hidden so the world doesn't know. No, these monsters are a result of men experimenting on animals(even sometimes humans) and releasing them.

Most of these organizations have been found and destroyed, but many remain. Many still create these monsters. Monsters have been being released since before Izuku was born.

Izuku loves his job, and hates it at the same time. Most monsters can be caught and brought in, but there are some... Some have to be put down.

The greenette has wanted to be a Monster Hunter for as long as he can remember. He wants to save people and he wants to save as many of these monsters as he can. He started this dream with his childhood friend - Kacchan. Or, known to literally anyone else, Katsuki Bakugou. It started out childish, just playing around in their backyards, pretending to catch monsters and bring them to safety, but... The dream solidified in Izuku's mind when the short-tempered blond had suddenly... Vanished. They were just five-years-old.

He's made it sort of a side-mission to find Katsuki, but he knows with more than two decades, it's unlikely he'll ever find him or know what happened to him. Probably impossible.

Izuku just does his job to the best of his abilities, amd continues.

~

"No activity, huh?" Izuku looked over the tablet linked to his sensors. He looked around him, birds chirping under the milky light of dawn. He bit into his granola bar, huffing as more of it crumbled down into his lap.

He stood and stretched, then went back into his tent to get dressed. Faded jeans, heavy hiking boots, black tee with a red plaid button-up on top. Izuku grabbed his beanie and pulled it on, then slung his knapsack over his shoulders.

The greenette sighed, taking hold of his tablet, checking the sensors once again, then walked away from his camp. He kept watch through the corners of his eyes as he looked over his tablet.

Humanoid with big wings, horns and scales. Glowing red eyes, extremely aggressive. Has killed people unprovoked and provoked.

The man hummed as he read over the stats and description of the monster. He's faced ones with a similar description. These are Dragon-Hybrids - oh, what these 'scientists' want to be Dragon-Hybrids. They tend to be extrodinarily aggressive and territorial. They are sharp, calculating- incredibly smart creatures.

If anything, Izuku admires them more than he's scared of them. He's been able to communicate with a few of them back at H.Q. One of them was able to say his own name - Kiri.

Once caught and rehabilited, they're rather docile and playful creatures. However, they are rare. They have just five at their H.Q. and most only have one or two if they have any at all(all five Izuku has caught, by the way).

He also hasn't heard of a Dragon-Hybrid being released/escaping in almost a year now. He was beginning to think they stopped trying to create them, or there were no more.

A roar and a shriek, snapped Izuku's attention, a flock of birds scattering away from the attack. He gasped and bolted towards the sounds.

So soon! I didn't think I'd find it!

He ducked under tree breaches and jumped over roots and a fallen tree.

Excitement bubbled in his chest, thrilled to see this magnificent creature.

Izuku panted and slowed as he neared the clearing, looking around. He then winced and tried quieting his breath. He could hear it eating. The squealing and tearing of flesh. Tearing and shaking to separate meat from bones.

Dead, beady eyes of a deer looked straight into Izuku's soul. No, wait... That's an Elk.

And that is the largest Dragonoid Izuku has ever seen. Also, the most human.

Human features, at least from his side profile, on his sharp face. He had golden scales lining his cheekbones and pointed ears. His eyes didn't seem to glow, but that's likely due to it being bright out. Blond hair with black horns that looked rigid and rough. One of the horns was chipped. Down his spine were rough, golden scales that shimmered in the sunlight, leathery wings only half-folded. A black claw protruded from the bend in each of his wings and Izuku nearly shuddered as his attention was drawn to likely the most powerful tail he's seen.

Golden and red with sharp spikes trailing along the top. The tail tapered to a tip resembling a spear. The Dragonoid had fairly human legs and arms, but they were thick and strong. He crouched beside the Elk, tearing into its flesh with fangs and black claws. Blood trailed down his jaw and smattered on his chest. Red covered his hands and forearms and Izuku could swear if he was just a bit more sensitive, he would have puked.

Too bad he was so enraptured by the Dragonoid. There was a kind of familiarity to him. A distant one.

A nearby snapping of a twig instantly had the Dragonoid on high alert. Izuku held his breath, watching it scan the area. His ears twitched slightly, nostrils flared as his sniffed. A low growl rumbled from his chest, lip curling in a snarl. His tail thrashed and he hunched forward, over the Elk. On all fours, he crawled over it and passed, stalking through the tall grass. His scales glistened prettily in the light, a stark contrast from the dark blood staining his front.

A bird fluttered just behind Izuku, startling him. He jumped forward and gasped, then froze. When he dared turn his head to look to the Dragonoid, fierce red eyes were on him.

Pupils in slits, brows furrowed and fangs bared. His tail thrashed again, wings spreading to make himself appear bigger, more threatening. Though, he really didn't have to. His growl deepened to a noise like thunder, claws digging into the soft soil beneath him.

Izuku swallowed hard, staying as still as possible. He knew this creature could still attack him, but it was far more likely if he ran and even more likely if he played dead.

Calculating red eyes dragged up and down Izuku, inspecting him. His tablet beeped and the Dragonoid hissed. He hunched back, prepping to attack when Izuku dropped his tablet and raised his hands. Too fast! Too quick of a movement, I fucked up-

This seemed to startle the beast, eyes now wide and pupils dialating. He raised his head, wings drawing back to his body and fangs disappearing behind his lip. He blinked, looking the human over again with a more curious gaze.

Then Izuku spotted the scars.

All of these monsters had scars. It was no surprise finding a monster, bringing it back, and seeing all the scars covering their bodies. However, this one was different.

They was a large slash across his chest, burn scars on his arms and a thin white line above his brow. He had two very clearly bullet wound scars- one on his chest and one on his shoulder. Someone has tried putting him down before... Looks like more than once.

Izuku then felt sad. That's why the beast was always so quick to attack. He's scared for his life.

He didn't move as the Dragonoid slithered closer, inch by inch. His worries were long gone with the curious look on the creature's face.

Just a few feet separating them, the Dragonoid stopped and craned his neck to sniff Izuku. He then... Chittered.

Izuku blinked a few times, startled by the soft, curious sound. There's no way such a little sound could come from the large creature before him. Black claws, leathery wings, broad chest and shoulders, blood still dripping from his sharp jaw.

The creature chittered again, raising onto his legs. Izuku's mouth ran dry at the sheer size of the Dragonoid. He felt... Small. He of course was already fairly short and he did reach the beast's shoulders at least- but the Dragonoid was just so broad as well as tall.

The other Dragon-Hybrids at the rehabilitation center were lean and lithe. They of course were still muscular and powerful, but not like this. This is what the scientists were aiming for when creating the Dragonoids. Large, powerful, intimidating...

CRACK!

Both if their attention was snapped towards the other side of the clearing, birds squawking and flying away, a tree falling and pushing other trees out of it's way.

The Dragonoid hissed, scales raising slightly and wings lifting.

He glanced over to the Monster Hunter before tearing off and launching into the air.

Izuku shuddered and released a breath he didn't realize he was holding. He looked down to his hands to see them trembling.

He breathed deeply to settle his nerves and crouched to pick up his tablet. Thankfully, it seemed to be unharmed.

~

Izuku didn't see the Dragonoid for the rest of the day, nor did he find out what caused a tree to topple over like that. As the sun set, he returned to his unbothered camp. He ate his barely-a-real-meal dinner, shed the plaid and went into his tent.

The forest was so... Quiet. Eerily so.

However, Izuku fell asleep easily.

~

Izuku frowned as he looked as his tablet. His sensors had detected something large entering his little campsite, but... His speaker on his tablet had been ruined when he dropped it so any alarm he may have had was muffled.

He licked his lips and looked around. He couldn't hear or see anything. Nothing seemed to habe disturbed his tent. He slowly unzipped the tent and peered outside.

Nothing was out of place aside from a tilted sensor.

The man sighed and crawled out. He fixed the sensor, then paused.

Eyes were on him. He could feel them boring into the back of his head.

Izuku swallowed and pursed his lips, turning to look.

The Dragonoid was easy to spot amid the trees, especially... Since his eyes glowed in the shadows. A deep, fiery red glow. He stood crouched, half behind a tree as he watched the greenette.

Has he taken a fascination with me..?

Izuku tilted his head, smiling as the Dragonoid copied the motion.

He moved slowly as he lifted himself onto the nearby log to sit. He pulled out his tablet, keeping an eye on the blond.

Izuku stayed like that a few more moments, then looked down to type.

Curious. Dragon-Hybrid entered campsite, but left undisturbed. Still nearby, watching from a distance.

Izuku looked back to the Dragonoid to see he'd moved just a few trees closer.

His eyes had dimmed and he'd cleaned himself up. Blood no longer stained his skin and scales. He really was a pretty beast.

The greenette turned to his tablet. I'd like to stay a few more days to observe the Hybrid.

Then he sent in his second report.

~

The Hybrid observed him as well. He kept close, eyes on him constantly. The next day, Izuku opened his tent to a dead squirrel on his shoe matt. He looked up, but didn't see the Dragonoid.

Izuku pulled out his tablet and searched how to cook a squirrel. He didn't want to be rude and reject it. It was strange eating a squirrel, but it's better than bugs - don't ask.

He caught the Dragonoid watching him several times as he hiked through the forest. He'd catch glimpses of the curious creature in the shadows, hear him growling at smaller, passing creatures.

So, he is very aggressive by nature, very territorial and not liking any uninvited guests in his space, but it seemed his curiosity was stronger than his aggressiveness.

Izuku was glad that he had gained positive attention from the creature. So, he let the creature observe as he himself analyzed right back.

Morning three, he got another squirrel. Morning four, he got a rabbit.

He's feeling a little spoiled. Afternoon of day four, he got a message back.

Capture the Hybrid and return to base by the weekend.

Izuku sighed, staring at the tablet.

A snap caught his attention and he looked up.

The Dragonoid had a bird in his mouth, foot raised as he glared at the twig he just broke. He growled deeply at it.

Izuku laughed and the Hybrid looked back to him, features softening. "Were you trying to sneak up on me..?"

Its nostrils flared.

The greenette set his tablet aside and turned more to the beast. "You don't have to bring me presents. I don't have anything for you."

His ears and tail twitched, then he crawled closer. Izuku stayed put, maintaining eye contact. The beast entered his circle of sensors.

He carefully set the bird down and sat back.

Izuku hummed. "Well, thank you." The beast tilted his head. "I appreciate it. Want me to cook it for the both of us? Well, you probably don't like it cooked, do you?"

The beast made a sort of rumbling noise deep in his throat. Not quite and purr or a growl.

He's so close. He can feel the heat radiating off the creature. Izuku wondered if he could breathe fire. A few were able back at the rehabilitation centers.

He wondered, then, if the Hybrid liked to be pet. Kiri did, and so did a yellow and black Hybrid, but others bit and burned any curious hands.

This beast was wild. He may shred Izuku's arm to pieces, but his own curiousity got the better of him. He raised his hand.

Shrinking to slits, the beast's eyes went straight to the movement. Izuku paused and waited. Slowly, so slowly, he lifted his hand and moved closer.

The Dragonoid flared his nostrils and leaned closer to sniff his fingers. Izuku smiled and let him investigate. When their eyes met again, Izuku finally touched him. The very tips of his fingers glided over the scales on his cheek bones. The creature flinched away and growled softly.

Izuku kept his hand still. Almost carefully, cautiously, the beast leaned into his hand. The greenette hummed and ran his fingers through those surprising soft blond locks.

Immediately, the Dragonoid melted into the gentle attention. His eyes closed and he lowered himself enough that his chin rested on Izuku's lap.

The greenette chuckled, petting his hair back. After a few strokes, he paused. His hand held back the hair previously draped over the Hybrid's forehead and eyes. He revealed a little birthmark on the Hybrid's forehead, right beneath the hairline.

He could be identified using that birthmark.

However, that wasn't what was on Izuku's mind. That mark was so familiar. He couldn't place it off the top of his head, but he could swear he's seen it before.

The Dragonoid growled, curling his lip. Izuku shook his head and returned to petting him. He sighed and relaxed again, a purr starting up.

Izuku smiled. "You're like a cat..." The creature groused. He hummed and looked back to his tablet. "It's Thursday... I have a few days before we have to leave..."

Their eyes met again.

"I have to bring you to Head Quarters by the weekend..."

The Dragonoid growled, but didn't move away from the pets.

Izuku tilted his head. "Can you understand me..?"

Huffing, the Hybrid rolled his eyes.

The greenette chuckled and shook his head. "Of course. I should have known. You're very smart, huh? Can you talk too?"

The Dragonoid grumbled, but there were no words.

"That's okay," he assured, scratching behind his ears. The Dragonoid purred louder, eyes rolling back. He leaned into the scratches. Izuku smiled wider. "I know of only two other Hybrids that can speak, and they have a hard time."

"Is it okay, though..? Bringing you back..? You'll have other Hybrids to interact with."

His growl was mangled, mixing with his purr. He loved the attention, but needed to make his displeasure known.

"I know... But you'll be safe there. You'll have everything you need and more. Friends, toys, we release all kinds of animals for you to hunt... There's even enough space for you to have your own den."

The Dragonoid still growled, purr quieting.

Izuku sighed. "I'll visit as often-" the Hybrid instantly perked up, growl vanishing and eyes big. Izuku laughed, ruffling his hair. "You like that? Want me to visit you?"

Trilling, the Dragonoid pressed forward, nuzzling his abdomen. Grinning, Izuku held onto him. He didn't even mind as the Dragonoid held his waist.

"You're so cute!"

The Hybrid growled in protest, but kept up his own affections.

Izuku hummed happily, carding his fingers through blond hair.

For being a wild beast, he was very affectionate. Even for a tame Monster, he's so affectionate.

Izuku knows he'll fit in right away, even with his aggressive attitude.

~

Izuku jolted awake as his phone buzzed. He blinked away his sleep and squinted, patting around for his phone. He picked it up, glaring at the screen to read it.

Large animal entering campsite.

The greenette sighed, looked to the side. A Dragonoid was shuffling around outside. He could see the outline of wings and spikey hair as well as the faint red glow of its eyes.

Does he ever sleep? Dragon-Hybrids are fairly lazy creatures.

He shifted and lay back down, relaxing. Izuku jolted again as he heard the beast tugging on the zipper.

The man smiled and shook his head. He sat back up and unzipped the tent. The Dragonoid startled, reeling back.

Izuku smirked and raised a brow. "It's a zipper. Never used a zipper before?"

The Hybrid then growled at the tease, surprise wiped off his face.

Chuckling, the greenette went back to his makeshift bed and lay down.

The Hybrid sniffed the folded door of the tent, then carefully entered. His wings tucked close to himself, mindful of the small space he was entering.

The tent wasn't overly small. It was a four person tent, so Izuku could be sure all of his equipment fit. It was big enough for Izuku to stand it. However, the Dragonoid was tall and his wingspan was probably longer than the diameter of Izuku's campsite.

Izuku shifted over as the Dragonoid lay close to him. A wing unfurled just enough to drape over him. The greenette smiled softly, letting the warmth lull him back to sleep.

~

The next night, the night before it was time to leave, the buzzing on Izuku's phone didn't wake him. He didn't even stir as his tent was unzipped and the Dragonoid crawled over him. He did, though, begin to wake as a curious nose explored up under his night shirt.

Izuku groaned and gently pushed the Dragonoid away. The creature wasn't offended. He just kept searching elsewhere.

"Need to sleep," Izuku sighed, rolling onto his stomach.

The Dragonoid chittered softly, returning to his exploratory nosing. He managed to hike the shirt all the way up to Izuku's shoulderblades, claws gently maping out the plane of smooth, soft skin he'd exposed.

His glowing eyes trailed down his back and to his bottom. The Hybrid crooned and tugged on Izuku's boxershorts.

"What are you doing..?" Izuku's voice was rough with sleep and slightly muffled due to his face being mushed against his pillow.

However, his question went unanswered(verbally, anyway).

He gasped and jolted as his boxershorts were pulled down, yelping as his rear was lifted.

"W-wait-!" He sputtered, scrabbling at his bedding.

Izuku stiffened, eyes widening as a warm, wet tongue dragged over his hole unashamedly.

"Wait- wait, don't-" Izuku squirmed and reached back, pulling on the Hybrid's hands. He inhaled sharply, arching as the tongue made its way inside him. "F-fuck- don't-"

He panted and struggled still, much to the displeasure of the Hybrid. He growled and gripped Izuku tighter, lifting him more.

Izuku bit his lip, tears in his eyes as the tongue wriggled deeper.

Firstly, he hasn't had sex in... Likely around two years, and in his last relationship, he topped a majority of the time. So, it's been a very long time since he bottomed. Secondly- this is a Dragon-Hybrid. So wrong on so many levels - it's borderline bestiality. Also, their penis' are massive and rigid, and it seemed like this Dragonoid wanted very much to put his own inside the greenette.

The smaller gasped, back bowing as the Hybrid's eager tongue worked him open. He couldn't believe he was getting hard from this!

Izuku bit into his thumb to suppress his sounds, eyes rolling back.

The Hybrid pulled back and licked his lips eyes gleaming. He looked over the trembling human, proud of himself. He nipped at the smooth, plump flesh of Izuku's ass, causing him to jolt and hiss.

Purring, the Dragonoid crawled over the human, cock throbbing between his thighs.

"Fuck, I can't-" Izuku went to crawl away, but the Hybrid pressed down on him. "I can't- it's too- I can't take it, I can't- I'm- I'll break-" he pleaded, breath and heartrate picking up pace in panic.

The Dragonoid could smell the fear oozing out of the greenette and crooned. He nuzzled his fluffy curls and hugged his slim waist.

Izuku grit his teeth, knuckles turning white from the grip on his bedding. He's going to fucking kill me-!

The underside of the hard and heavy cock rested between his cheeks, the Hybrid languidly rocking his hips. Izuku shuddered, flinching as a thick substance was smothered over his ass and dripped down his thighs. It coated the length rubbing against him in copius amounts.

The Hybrid shifted so the angry read tip caught on Izuku's rim with the next roll. Izuku made a strangled sound and tried to escape yet again.

Growling, the Dragonoid grabbed the back of Izuku's neck and pinned him down, jerking his hips forward.

Izuku choked and clawed at his bedding, scream cut short from the hold on him as he was stretched impossibly. Tears tracked down his face, teeth gnashing together painfully as the Hybrid thrust deeper.

The Hybrid groaned, releasing Izuku's neck to hold his waist. He rocked his hips slowly, each forward movement pressing deeper than the last.

He purred once he fit himself completely inside the human, leaning over to nuzzle his neck and chitter in praise.

Izuku panted, body trembling as it attempted adjusting to the massive length inside him. It hurts- it burns. He feels as if all the air has been knocked out of his lungs. He could swear his organs weren't quite in the right places anymore. Was he beeding? Has something torn?

At first, he didn't realize he was being praised by the Hybrid. What he first noticed was the Hybrid had stopped, then he noticed the praises. Izuku swallowed and reached up with a shaky hand. His hand found the Hybrid's hair easily.

The Dragonoid crooned as he leaned into the touch.

Izuku glanced back over his shoulder. Does he realize this is hurting me..? Is he waiting until it doesn't hurt me as much..?

Red eyes met his. Izuku sighed, making himself relax. The Dragonoid perked up as he noticed. He chittered again, purr soft.

Izuku gasped, tugging on hair and bedding, eyes pinching shut as the Hybrid began dragging his cock in and out at a slow, testing pace.

He's being so careful with the human, not wanting to break him. He liked this one, a lot. He was familiar and felt like home. He accepted his courting gifts and allowed him in his little den, but maybe he wasn't completely ready for mating just yet. He is small. Maybe he should have prepared him more.

The greenette gasped and whimpered, fingers tight enough in the Dragonoid's hair to pull out several strands.

Careful to not further hurt the human, the Hybrid picked up pace. Izuku choked and cried out, grip tightening impossibly. The Hybrid growled as the walls around him tightened more.

With a slight tilt of his hips and one particularly long, deep drag, a bolt of pleasure shot up Izuku's spine and down to his toes. "Fuck-!" He gasped, eyes rolling. When the Hybrid thrust into that spot again, Izuku scrabbled for purchase in the bedding and moaned loudly, jaw dropped at the shock of pleasure.

The Hybrid grinned wickedly, licking his fangs.

Izuku shrieked, back arched so much it ached as the Hybrid thrust hard and deep. Tears blinded him, breath punched out of his lungs as he was fucked like never before. Waves of pleasure crashed over him as the ridges on the Hybrid's cock abused his prostate, ramming into him like a target.

He choked on moans and gasps, cheeks tear-stained and drool undoubtedly dribbling from his chin. Not one single coherent thought crossed his mind and not one word out of his mouth was understandable.

The slick coating the cock inside him made each thrust easier as it lathered him up as well.

His core tightened, thighs shaking. Izuku sobbed, throwing his head. "Fuck- I'm- I- nngh! I'm cum- fuck- please-!"

The Hybrid growled into his neck, thrusts sharps and deliberate. Izuku screamed, white flashing behind his eyes as he came. The hybrid slowed to shallow, languid thrusts to ride out Izuku's intense orgasm, then pulled back and rolled him over.

Izuku panted heavily, eyes glazed over, face bright red.

The Dragonoid purred deeply, leaning over to lap up the cum on Izuku's abdomen. "Pretty," he growled, looking up to meet the human's eyes.

"Y-you... You talk...?" Izuku was practically breathless.

Grinning, the Dragonoid grabbed Izuku's thighs and pulled him closer. He watched the greenette's reactions as he allowed himself right back into the tight heat. Izuku threw his head back, jaw dropping and back arching.

He leaned over until his lips grazed Izuku's neck. "Mine," was his response.

Izuku had no time to react before he was practically folded in half and fucked. He screamed and threw his arms around the beast, blunt nails dragging up smooth scales.

The Hybrid looked between them, watching proudly as with each thrust, his cock raised the skin and muscle enough he made a bump in the human's freckled, toned abdomen.

Incoherent sounds were the only ones coming from the human, pretty eyes filled with tears of blinding pleasure, mouth open from strangled screams and moans.

Pride swelled in his chest at the absolute ecstasy he gave to the human beneath him.

"Oh my God-!" Izuku's eyes rolled back, teeth sinking into his lower lip as his entire body tremored heavily with a second orgasm, from his head all the way to his curled toes.

The Dragonoid snarled, pleased, but kept with his brutal pace.

"Fuck- Fuck-!" Izuku gasped and clung to the Hybrid. His moans heightened in pitch, shaky fingers digging into thick biceps.

God, how the Hybrid wanted to pleasure him more. Wanted to fuck him until the sun rose above the horizon, but he himself could only last so long. He gripped Izuku's lovely thick thighs tighter, accidentally drawing blood with his sharp claws, and chased his own release.

Erratic and sloppy, the human hadn't seemed to notice the change as he still looked so lost in his own ecstasy.

The Dragonoid snarled and bit down on the junction between Izuku's neck and shoulder, fangs sinking into the supple skin as he came hard and deep in the human.

"Nngh-!" Izuku's entire body clenched, eyes crossing as he was pumped full of cum, the fluid hot and sticky inside him. Pain bloomed in his shoulder and neck, though his throat was too sore for him to scream.

They both panted heavily, still tightly clinging to each other.

Izuku swallowed, blinking away his remaining tears.

The Hybrid unlatched his jaw and purred roughly as he tenderly cleaned up the wound he made.

Slowly, shakily, Izuku reached up and placed his hand in blond hair, gently stroking. The Hybrid chittered happily at the attention, nosing Izuku's cheek.

"Mate," he whispered, clawed hands running up and down Izuku's trembling thighs.

Izuku closed his eyes, feeling more physically exhausted than he has in a long time. If he didn't start thinking about how gross he felt, he might have passed right out. He gasped and jolted as the Hybrid slowly pulled out his softened dick, biting his lip at the gush of cum that followed.

The Hybrid seemed put off as well, sneering at the disgusting bedding beneath them. He grabbed one of the blankets and wiped down the human. Izuku smiled as he watched, though blushed and covered his face as down there was cleaned up as well.

Lifting Izuku carefully, the Hybrid took the dirty bedding and sauntered out of the tent.

Izuku tilted his head, peering out his tent to see what the Hybrid was doing. As the Hybrid was gone, he struggled with his boxer shorts, his entire lower-half throbbing. He blinked a few times as the Hybrid came back with an armful of pelts.

He squeaked as he was lifted again, looking back as the Dragonoid adjusted the pelts and patted them down, adjusting once again before carefully laying Izuku down.

The Hybrid shuffled and shifted to get comfortable in the cramped space, holding Izuku close to his broad chest. He draped one of his wings over them and buried his nose into Izuku's curls.

Sighing, Izuku relaxed(as much as he could) and closed his eyes.

"Goodnight," he murmured into the creature's chest, hand flat over the scarred skin to feel the vibrations of his purr. He was easily lulled into sleep.

~

Packing up camp the next day was so... Difficult.

His legs were jell-o, ass and hips so sore- and that damn Hybrid was so smug about it, too.

The hike to his truck took four hours when it should have just taken a litte over one.

The Hybrid just slithered behind him, grinning.

The biggest problem, though, was when a family walked on the same path towards them.

The Dragonoid switched like a light. He was smug, teasing and playful one moment, then snarling and snapping the next.

Izuku grabbed onto him, pulling his arm, the family ready to run screaming. "My name is Izuku Midoriya! I am a Monster Hunter! This monster is under control, but you should not be here! There were cautions and warning signs posted everywhere!"

The family shouted their apologies, running away. Before the Hybrid could give chase, Izuku tugged on him.

"Don't... They'll get you put down..."

Gritting his teeth and growling, the Hybrid lowered himself. He huffed, folding his wings.

Izuku sighed and pet his hair back. "Come on... Almost there..."

Then the next problem- the trailer. There was no way the Hybrid would fit in the truck, and the trailer was intended for him anyway. He growled and glared at the inside.

The trailer wasn't dark. The roof was reinforced glass and there were windows up at the front. However, it was still a small space he'd have to be in for an indeterminate amout of time. There were also shackles in there he didn't appreciate.

"I know it won't be pleasant," Izuku sighed, standing by the opening. "I won't chain you if you don't want me to, but I need to get you in here so we can safely get you to the rehabilitation center... It'll take a few hours, but I can stop a few times on the way to come back and check on you."

The Dragonoid grumbled inching closer to the trailer. He sniffed it. It smelled like other monsters. Monsters that had been locked in a lab with him. However, it didn't smell like the lab. It didn't smell like any lab.

He glanced up to Izuku, the greenette giving him a reassuring smile before he finally climbed in.

Izuku hummed and closed one of the doors, then paused. "Oh, before I forget!" He shuffled away, then came back with a small cage.

The Hybrid cocked a brow, then perked up.

"I think it's kinda gross, but- here's a snack for the road."

He set the cage down and opened it, smiling to the Hybrid before closing and latching the second door.

The blond sniffed and eyed the cage, grinning as a plump rabbit hopped out of the cage. He licked his lips and hunched.

~

The drive was bareable due to the lovely rabbit snack and Izuku's constant check-ins. He also liked that he could see the sky, and terrify other drivers by peeking through the windows. That was amusing.

Although, when they stopped finally at what looked to be the center Izuku had talked about, he wasn't let out immediately and Izuku had been stopped before he could open the window to talk to him.

The Hybrid growled, clawing at the window as he watched two people talking to the greenette.

"What!?" The blue-haired man shouted. "He's not- why isn't he chained!?"

"Iida, please calm down!"

"He's an extremely aggressive Dragon-Hybrid unlike any we've seen before and you didn't chain him!?"

"Iida, I have his trust! I don't want to break that and you shouldn't either! I can take him there on my own, he'll come with me!"

The man known as Iida pinched the bridge of his nose, right underneath his glasses. Oh, the Hybrid didn't like him.

"Alright, Midoriya," the heterocromatic male beside Izuku spoke up, placing his hand on Izuku's shoulder.

The Hybrid hissed, tail lashing. He could practically smell the desire on that man despite the glass between them.

Izuku looked back to him. "I'm coming, okay? Just a moment..."

Growling, the Hybrid crouched out of sight.

"Do you know how much he understands?"

"I think he understands everything. He's incredibly intelligent. He responds to everything I say. Now, he doesn't talk much. He's only said three words."

"Well, that's unsurprising. Kiri talks the most and he's only got twenty-four words. Though, the yellow one is up to word two now."

Izuku laughed. "Oh, Denki tries so hard. Let me get him, okay? Just... Stay back. Like you said, he's aggressive."

The Hybrid perked up as the latches came undone and Izuku opened the doors. He chittered and the greenette smiled at him.

"It's alright. You can come out, now. We need to bring you inside."

Huffing, the Hybrid crawled closer and out of the trailer. He looked over to the other two men across the paved clearing. He snarled at them. The bi-colored man stayed stoic as the taller stiffened. Not in fear, just... Stiffened.

The Hybrid curled his tail around Izuku, pressing himself into his side.

Izuku reached up and pet his hair. "It's okay. Just follow me."

With little resistance, he did. He stuck to Izuku like glue, beaming in pride as people scattered out of their path.

The two men from outside followed, though, souring the Hybrid's mood. Izuku swiped a card and the Hybrid instantly cowered back as the door slid open.

He hissed and scrambled back, pupils in slits and lip curled back. His wings spread, tail thrashing.

"No, no! Don't shoot- don't!" Izuku hurried to the Hybrid, holding one hand up to the men down the aisle they just came from, one coming up to hold the Hybrid's cheek. "Hey... Hey, look at me."

The Hybrid heaved as if out of breath, frantic eyes searching for Izuku's.

"It's okay... It's okay..." His other hand came to his face, thumbs brushing gently along the scales on his cheekbones. "Nothing in there is going to hurt you... They just need to take some pictures and draw a bit of your blood. We need to find out who you were and make sure you're healthy. I'll be with you the whole time if you want me to."

He chittered softly, unsure and... Admittedly, terrified. That room smelled just like the labs.

Slowly, he folded his wings and leaned into Izuku.

The greenette smiled softly, stroking his hair. "There... We'll go in, get you up on the very first bed so you're close to the door. The moment they are done, I'll bring you out."

The Dragonoid didn't respond. Just allowed himself to be lead inside. He twitched, eyes flicking about the room. It was brighter than the labs he's used to. Cleaner, too. He crawled onto the bed and sniffed the mattress.

At least there's mattresses too.

"Ahh, I'll never understand how you are so amazing with these creatures, Midoriya," a pink-haired woman giggled as she trodded over. The Hybrid growled, but she paid no mind. "You seem to be the only one they connect to!"

Izuku chuckled and rubbed his neck, unbothered by Katsuki's claws curling into his shirt and holding him close. "I don't know. I honestly have no idea how him and I bonded so quickly out in the forest. I really thought he was going to kill me that first day, but then he just... He got curious and followed me around."

"I bet it's 'cause you're cute," she mused and began taking pictures.

The Hybrid followed her with his eyes, becoming more intrigued with her. He began to relax, even allowing her to push back his hair when Izuku told her about a mark on his forehead.

"Great identifying mark," she chirped as she took the picture.

He hated the flash, but it was better than-

He hissed and scrabbled back, tail lashing out and knocking over a cart.

Izuku gasped as he was grabbed and yanked close, eyes shutting tight as the Hybrid furious flapped his wings.

"Hey! Hey, hey!" Izuku wriggled and twisted, grabbing his face. "It's okay! It is okay, I'm right here! I won't let her hurt you, okay?" The Hybrid growled, hyperfocused on,the needle the woman held, even as she backed away and lowered it.

The doors opened again, but the Hybrid was too focused on keeping away from the needle he didn't even notice the guns.

Izuku shushed and whispered, getting him to settle again. "It's okay... She just needs to draw a bit of blood... She's not going to give you anything. Would you feel better if you saw her draw some of my blood?"

The Hybrid still growled, but had released some of the pressure off Izuku. The greenette turned enough to hold his arm out and roll his sleeve up.

"She'll take my blood from here. She'll use a smaller needle on me because my skin isn't as thick as yours," he spoke softly as the woman tied a blue band around his bicep. Izuku turned and smiled up at the Hybrid, only wincing slightly as the needle pierced his skin.

He growled louder, but didn't move. He watched as the needle filled with red, then pulled away. The little nick was wiped off, a bandage placed on top, then the band removed.

Izuku lowered his arm. "There. See? And I'll be right here the whole time."

The Hybrid glanced between Izuku and the needle, then reluctantly held out his arm as Izuku had. He flinched and closed his eyes as the needle neared, focusing instead on Izuku's soft, encouraging voice.

It was over before he knew it.

When he opened his eyes, his blood was drawn and a bandage covered the tiny injury. He tilted his head and raised his arm to sniff the bandage.

Izuku chuckled. "There. All done. You did so good."

The greenette stood and motioned for the Hybrid to do the same. He crawled off the bed, then glared at the men in the doorway.

Quickly, they stepped out of the way.

Izuku lead the Hybrid down several more hallways, the blond scratching at the bandage every couple of steps.

As he caught the scent of other Hybrids, he halted.

He tilted his head and looked up at Izuku.

The greenette smiled and pet his hair again. "You ready to meet them..?"

His nostrils flared and he inched closer to the large door.

Izuku swiped his card again, and the Dragonoid took a step back. Eyes blown wide, he took in the enclosure. It was much bigger than we was expecting. The ceiling domed above them, high enough he'd have plenty of room to fly. The trees looked similar enough to the ones he'd lived in the passed several months and he rather liked the mock mountains with steep faces on the other side of the enclosure.

His hand spread out in the soft grass as he entered and he breathed deeply. He could smell several other Hybrids like him, as well as prey animals. He even saw some birds and squirrels. He could smell rabbits and... Deer.

He licked his lips and raised himself onto his legs, looking around. His tail swayed.

"Do you like it..?"

The Hybrid looked back to the greenette. He chittered in response, lowering himself and sauntering back to him.

Izuku laughed as he was nuzzled and held close. "Okay, okay! Go explore! I'll be right here!"

He pulled back, perking up as he heard a roar.

He crawled in farther, roaring back.

A different roar responded, followed by an even closer one. A yellow hybrid brust from the trees and a red one crawled out from the cliff-face. A black one chirped, tackling the yellow to the ground before darting to the new Hybrid.

A pink one - female - trilled in delight as she bounded over, the red Hybrid hot on her tail.

He doesn't think he's ever seen so many like him in one place.

The red Hybrid crashed violently into him, shrieking in delight. "Friend!" He cried, nuzzling and scenting the golden Hybrid.

He thrashed before hitting the ground, snarling at the overly-affectionate hybrid.

However, the threat went ignored and the other three piled on top, trilling in delight.

He hissed and wriggled away from the pile, sneering as the red one laughed - clearly the most human of all of them.

The red Hybrid flounced over happily, sniffing him curiously. He then pulled back and tilted his head. He sniffed again, ignoring yet another growl, then turned to look at the open doors where Izuku stood.

"Mido?" He questioned, sitting back slightly.

The golden Hybrid then grinned. The redhead could smell their mating on him.

"Oh, Hitoshi!"

He snapped his attention over to the greenette, startled to see a violet Hybrid sitting contentedly beside the greenette.

Izuku smiled and pet his hair just once before pulling his hand away. "I hope you were good," he mused, earning a low grouse in response.

The golden Hybrid growled, and leapt back to Izuku. He snatched the greenette and snapped his jaws at the violet Hybrid.

Izuku gasped, grabbing onto him, but the smaller Hybrid was unaffected. He looked bored, really.

"Mine," he growled, wrapping his wings around himself and Izuku to shield him.

"Hey, hey," Izuku patted his arm. "It's okay. Hitoshi is my friend."

"Oh, wow! He's very attached to you, Izuku!" A brunette woman walked up with the blue haired man from earlier.

Izuku laughed awkwardly as he was still held captive. "Yeah, it seems so..."

"Was that one of the three words, or a new one?" Iida asked with a mechanical gesture.

Izuku blinked then shifted. "Oh, it's one of the three. He said it before out in the forest."

The golden Hybrid growled and snapped as the others still sniffed him, still curious and eager to explore.

"What else did he say?"

Izuku swallowed, nervous and sort of embarassed. "Well... Pretty and... Mate."

"Mine, pretty, and mate..." The brunette muttered as she typed on her tablet.

Iida hummed and nodded as he watched her. "Do you think it's possible he has a larger vocabulary?"

Izuku nodded, able to wiggle away when the Hybrid swiped at the nosey pink hybrid. "Oh, absolutely. He understands a lot more than the other five and any other Dragon-Hybrid I've come across. He's so intelligent, I think he's hiding some of it from us."

The blue haired man nodded, watching as the yellow and black hybrids tackled each other once again. "Are we sure he'll fit in with this lot? They're playful and pack-oriented - except Shinsou of course - and he's fairly aggressive and territorial."

"Iida, look at them," the brunette woman giggled, gesturing to the hybrids flocking the newest addition.

No matter how he growled or hissed or swung is tail, these four were fearless and just more curious.

The red Hybrid squawked happily and pounced on him again tumbling in the grass. The bigger Hybrid snarled, but the redhead batted at him playfully, trilling happily.

"He's being aggressive, but he's not making any real moves to harm them and they know it. They really like him, and Shinsou will just keep to himself."

Izuku nodded, smiling.

Iida sighed and nodded, then looked to the greenette. "Midoriya, I did notice you're walking strangely." The smaller man flushed red and the cause of his predicament smirked. "Are you okay?"

"Fine!" He squeaked, waving his hands wildly. "I just fell last night, but I'll be okay!"

The blue-haired man didn't press. He just shrugged and turned. "Alright. Have security keep an eye on the cameras. If he injures one of the others, we'll have to pull him out immediately."

Izuku frowned but nodded and stepped back.

The Hybrid snapped his head back up and howled as the doors began to close. He bounded over on all fours and Izuku rushed through the closing doors, startled.

"Are you okay-oh!" He was swept up and embraced tightly, wings closing him in again. "Hey, it's okay. I won't go far." Izuku tilted his head as the Hybrid nuzzled into his neck. "I can't stay in here with you, but I'll be so close I can hear you call, okay..?"

He still growled, not wanting to release the greenette. He hissed, glaring at the doors as they opened back up.

Izuku sighed, rubbing his back. "It'll be okay... Go explore a bit. Play with your new packmates. I'll see you soon, I promise..."

Reluctantly, he released the human. He nosed at the mark he made on Izuku's neck the night before as he pulled away.

The greenette smiled and caressed his cheek. "Be good, okay? I won't be gone too long."

He huffed, sitting back.

Izuku leaned back in, placing a little kiss to his forehead.

"Mm..." He relaxed more, shoulders and wings drooping.

"There..." Izuku chuckled. "I'll be back soon..."

The Hybrid watched him leave, almost whimpering when he disappeared behind the door.

The redhead sat beside him, head tilted and eyes curious. "Friend?"

He huffed back, scowl returning.

"Play?"

The blond narrowed his eyes more.

"Mm..." The redhead kneaded his claws into the soft soil as he thought. He perked up and grinned, teeth all sharp and shark-like. "Hunt?" He then chirped.

The bigger Hybrid looked up at that.

"Hunt!" The redhead shouted and darted back to the others. He called the word out several more times, black, yellow and pink Hybrids squawking like birds as the bounced excitedly.

A buzzer sounded above and a door across the clearing opened. Two deer were ushered out and the blond's lips curled into a grin.

~

Every day, Izuku visited multiple times, and most times, the blond tried following him out.

However, he was begrudgingly growing fond of his new pack. He even kinda liked the one called Shinsou. He just sunbathed and napped.

He didn't like how affectionate his packmates were with his mate, though. He hissed and snarled, shooing them and pulling Izuku away.

His human laughed and held onto him as well.

The fourth day, Katsuki had gotten out with Izuku.

"Please, Iida?"

"He's dangerous."

"He'll just be with me the whole time!"

Iida groaned and did the pinching his nose thing again. The Hybrid sat beside Izuku, tail sweeping across the tiled floor.

"Anything breaks, it comes out of your paycheck and he never leaves the dome again."

Izuku laughed and nodded, hugging the Hybrid's head.

The only thing that came close to breaking was Izuku's bed.

He discovered that his human also lived in the facility, fairly close to his enclosure. His little 'apartment', as he called it, was quaint. Simple. His bedroom was in the back, which is where he went first.

The Hybrid explored the apartment as Izuku read on his bed, going through his tablet.

After several minutes, the Hybrid joined him in the fairly spacious bed. Izuku laughed as he watched the creature pressed down on the mattress and lightly bounce, chittering curiously.

Things turned from innocent to hot fast. The Hybrid nearly tore Izuku's clothes off. This time, after using his tongue, Izuku had stopped him to stretch himself more.

The Hybrid watched in wonder as his human worked himself open, purring at the faces he made. Once finally sheathed inside, he felt the difference the stretching had made - though it was slight.

Izuku muffled his screams and moans this time, biting into his pillow. The headboard slammed against the wall with each powerful thrust, Izuku bracing himself against it with one hand. The other hugged his pillow close to his face.

He growled deeply, admiring the greenette as he fucked him.

When they finished and recovered from their post-orgasmic bliss, Izuku had gotten in the shower.

He returned, and didn't smell as strongly of their mating as the blond would have liked.

Izuku laughed and squirmed as he was grabbed and nuzzled, being scented very heavily by the Hybrid.

"Hey, hey! I need to bring you back soon, I-"

They both halted when there was a knock on the door.

Izuku paled, instantly terrified that someone had heard them. The Hybrid tilted his head and sniffed the air for the scent of their visitor.

The greenette shuffled over and slowly pulled open the door. He relaxed and sighed. "Hatsume. Did you need something?"

"Actually- oh!" The pink-haired woman grinned as she spotted the Hybrid. "I didn't know you had him out!"

"Oh, yeah. He wanted to come with me... Took some convincing, but Iida let him."

Hatsume laughed and shook his head. She then cleared her throat and hummed. "Well... I've discovered who he is."

Izuku tilted his head and took the tablet offered to him. He froze up, breath hitching in his throat.

The Hybrid tilted his head and crawled closer. He chittered to Izuku, but his mate didn't respond. He automatically didn't like whatever the screen was showing him.

"He's incredibly healthy and strong. He's a perfect specimen- exactly what those scientists were aiming for when creating the Dragon-Hybrids."

Izuku shook, tears in his eyes and his hand covering his mouth.

He crooned to his mate, and nudged him gently.

He looked to the tablet and tilted his head. There was a picture of him that looks like it was taken back in the lab when he first arrived. There was a second picture of him. He was much younger in that picture and he lacked scales and horns. His ears also weren't pointy and his eyes were more human. He barely remembers that time.

"I've contacted his parents this morning. They're coming to see him soon... I think they're flying in tomorrow."

Parents?

He vaguely remembers his parents.

Izuku swallowed thickly, shaking. "This... It-it can't..."

"He's Katsuki Bakugou, Midoriya. The blood test confirmed it after we got a description match."

~

Katsuki was brought back to the enclosure after that. Izuku couldn't look at him the whole way. Fucing goggles lady. Showing Izuku something that made him so upset.

He waited by the door the rest of the day and over night, but his mate didn't come back.

The Hybrid didn't even budge when the others tried involving him in their play or invited him on a hunt. He stayed diligently by the door.

Late that night, a full day after Izuku brought him back, the brunette had opened the door and stepped aside for him.

Katsuki tilted his head, eyeing her curiously. She was nice enough and she made Izuku happy, so he didn't mind her. He crawled through the door, sniffing.

A muffled sob grabbed his attention.

Two people stood in the hall- a man and a woman. Both looked familiar, but not. They looked old and tired, the woman had tears running down her cheeks while the man's tears still shimmered only in his eyes.

"Katsuki," the woman sobbed, falling to her knees.

Yeah, that's his name. He remembers that bit pretty clearly. Why is it such a big deal, though?

He crawled closer, watching the man get down to one knee.

"Hey, Katsuki," he whispered with a weak smile. "Do you remember us..?"

Katsuki tilted his head and craned his neck. He sniffed the hand held up to him. He looked back to the man's sad, deep amber eyes. He squinted and chittered again, shaking his wings. He sat down in front of them.

The man looked passed him to Ochako. "Can he understand us?"

"We believe so," she answered, not getting too close. "He's very smart and responds very well. He just doesn't speak very much himself."

He nodded and breathed deeply. "Katsuki?" The blond perked up as the attention turned back to him. "Katsuki, I'm your dad... This is your mother. We've missed you a lot. We never gave up looking for you, kiddo..."

Katsuki looked back and forth between them. He got up and crawled closer. His tail swayed, eyes inspecting the two. He reached to the woman and she reached back. He palm lay flat over his and she sobbed again.

"Mm..." His brows furrowed, trying to remember how to speak the word. "Maa... Mam... Mohm..."

A wobbly smile formed on her face. She leaned forward, placing her hands on his cheeks. "My boy... My baby boy..."

He crooned, hair being stroked back out of his face. Katsuki leaned into her, purring as his father cupped the nape of his neck and kissed his head.

"Mom," he repeated, more clearly. She laughed and nodded. He looked to the man, tongue clicking before it made the sound he wanted. "Da... Dad..."

The man smiled and nodded. "Right... That's right, Katsuki. You're so smart. You always have been."

Katsuki preened at the praise, sitting on the floor with them.

His mother ran her fingers through his hair, father doing most of the talking.

When Iida turned into the hall, he stiffened and scowled. "Uraraka... Why does everyone keep letting him out into the hall without at least some precautionary measures?"

Ochako huffed. "These are his parents," she shot back.

Katsuki smirked, tail flicking. He liked pink cheeks more and more every day.

Still... He wanted Izuku.

~

The second day Izuku didn't come, Katsuki groused and clawed at the door.

"Mido?"

Katsuki growled at the redhead.

Kiri crawled closer, then sat back. "Mido busy," he offered, his short tail swishing in the grass.

The blond huffed and sat.

"Mido mate?" Kiri tilted his head, shifting closer.

Katsuki huffed in acknowledgment.

Kiri hummed and nodded.

They sat quietly a few minutes longer, Katsuki slumping more a more. He must have done something wrong. He must have hurt his mate. Why else would he be refusing to see him..?

~

Izuku ran, Hatsume hot on his heels. Katsuki is sick, were the only words he had to hear to bolt through the halls to get to the enclosure.

He panted, skidding to a halt and swipping his card.

Kiri was inside the door, lifting his head and perking up when he saw the greenette. "Mido!" He chirped and purred as he got a gentle pat.

Izuku dashed to the trees and it didn't take long to find the Hybrid.

He was curled up in a poorly made nest, wings draped over himself.

"Kacchan? Hey, hey, what's the matter?" Izuku knelt beside him, stroking his hair back out of his face.

Katsuki slowly opened his eyes. He peered up at Izuku. "Mate..?"

"I'm here, Kacchan," Izuku whispered, running his fingers down Katsuki's cheek.

The Hybrid crooned and wrapped his arms around the greenette. He purred and nuzzled him, tail waving slowly. "Sorry," he whispered, 's' dragging out around his tongue. "I'm sorry..."

Izuku held him, rubbing his back. "For what..? Why are you sorry..?"

"Hurt mate," he whined, carefully pulling the human into his chest.

Hatsume sighed behind him. "He's not sick... He was worried about you..."

The greenette teared up and gripped Katsuki tighter. "Oh, Kacchan... No, you didn't hurt me... It's okay... I'm okay, I was just sad... But I'm okay now..."

Katsuki purred, rubbing his cheek against the scarring mark he made.

~

His parents visited him often. He liked that. He liked seeing them, even though they didn't do much together. His mother cried less everytime and started bringing books. Katsuki liked to curl up beside her as she read and mimic words she tried to teach him. His father, Masaru, helped teach him new words.

Izuku visited him more often and most days, Katsuki was allowed to follow him around the facility. He liked how people steered clear of him and his mate whenever he was around. He felt powerful.

Katsuki liked most of all, curling up in Izuku's den and holding his mate close. Mating him over and over was great, too, but Katsuki enjoyed just holding him and inhaling his scent.

"I just think it's so cute."

Izuku blinked, pausing what he was doing as he looked up to Ochako. "What is?"

The brunette laughed, patting Katsuki's head. He grumbled, but didn't protest. "That he courted you back in the forest and thinks you're his mate."

"Knows," Katsuki hissed in correction and she just nodded.

She moved closer. "He left you squirrels and a rabbit and a bird and you said that he then brought pelts for you to sleep on." Izuku nodded slowly in confirmation, blush forming on his cheeks. "He was courting you!"

"Oh," Izuku stuttered and gulped. "I-I guess I didn't realize that was courting."

"Of course not. First of all, you're oblivious. Secondly, we've never seen a Dragon-Hybrid court before." She leaned back in her chair, grinning.

Katsuki peered up at Izuku from his perch on Izuku's lap.

The greenette blushed deeply, fingers pausing in the blond's hair. "I suppose..."

The Dragonoid whined and pressed into his abdomen. "Pet..."

"I know," Izuku smiled and returned to petting the Hybrid. Katsuki purred, hugging his waist.

"He's literally just a big kitten."

Katsuki growled at her, but Izuku laughed.

~

Katsuki curled around Izuku in bed, holding the sleeping human close. He sighed, content to have him in his arms.

A buzz brought Katsuki to alert and he peered out of the bedroom door. Izuku's tablet lit up on the counter. That usually meant he had a notification.

Instead of waking the human, Katsuki carefully unwound himself and crawled off the bed. The door creaked quietly as he pushed it open enough he could saunter through. He reached the tablet and sniffed. It had already turned back off.

Though, it did buzz and light back up again. Katsuki squinted as he tried to read. He touched the screen, jumping as it changed. He huffed and looked at the different blocks of texts. Most of these words he didn't know how to read, but he did try sounding them out.

Katsuki looked to the picture at the top of the screen and pressed on it. As soon as he did, he reeled back and snarled, thrashing tail shattering the vase on the coffee table.

"Kacchan!?" Izuku scrambled out of bed and ran over. "What happened- what's wrong!?"

The Hybrid crouched on the sofa, claws digging into the cushions. His wings shuddered, spread wide and threatening, eyes glowing deeply as he glared at Izuku's tablet.

Izuku shuffled to the tablet and looked at the picture on the screen. "Kacchan..? Do you recognize this man..?" As he lifted the tablet, tilting it towards the Hybrid, Katsuki raored and lashed his tail, shrinking farther back.

He gulped and moved the tablet away, grabbing his nearby phone and calling someone. He made his way carefully over to Katsuki, touching his hair. The Hybrid didn't lean into it, but didn't lash out.

"Hi, Iida... Sorry for calling so early, but... Katsuki recognized a scientist... He's one of ours."

~

Katsuki growled worriedly, pacing impatiently. He was allowed to stay in Izuku's apartment by himself, too distressed to leave. He needed to be surrounded by the greenette's scent.

He hissed and pivoted quickly as the door unlocked.

"It's okay, Kacchan," came Izuku's soft voice and he cracked the door open. "It's just me."

Katsuki slumped and whined, crawling over. "'Ku..."

Izuku smiled and opened his door fully. "Hi, Kacchan... Sorry it took me so long..." He hummed as he was wrapped up tenderly, closing his eyes. "We caught him... Brought him in and he revealed another name... I'm so proud of you, Kacchan..."

"Proud..?"

The greenette laughed softly and nodded. "Yes, I'm proud. So very proud of you. Because of you, we caught a man doing bad things while pretending to be good... And he named someone else who can lead us to some of the labs where others like you are being hurt..."

Katsuki purred, nuzzling Izuku's hair.

Izuku swayed slowly with him, stroking his hair.

"We'll stop it all, Kacchan... I promise... We'll make it so no one - human or otherwise - has to go through what you went through."

The Hybrid chittered in response, rubbing his cheek into Izuku's hair. The greenette laughed, holding onto him tighter.

"Come on, Kacchan. Let's go get some rest."

"Bed?"

"Yes, bed..."

-----

10420 words

Eyyy, 4/20, Kacchan's birthday!

Anyway, so clearly this wasn't straight up p0rn like originally planned...

Like, I was like, "okay, well, I want some kind of backstory, don't wanna get right into the banging," then, "well, it needs some lead up," then, "Holy shit I'm at 3000 words! I need them to start fucking!" then, "well, he still needs to be brought to the rehab facility and meet the other Hybrids," and, "Deku still needs to find out it's Bakugou!" and, "BAKUGOU'S PARENTS!!!" and so on and so forth...

I got lost in the plot... I legit at somewhere around 7000 or 8000 words was like, "I should just make this a book." I'm still undecided...

I have so many ideas to add onto this and shit, but I started writing this hoping it would be a 2000-3000 word smut-shot...
