i think my personal favorites from the bunch are the final product (the b&w&red all over) and the one with just carlisle (the oc), the broken glass between us and him, and the iconic question mark on his tie (shown below). the latter shows that even the most innocent people can't always be protected, and it starts with carlisle being dragged back to gotham and making him a target, thus the question mark and bat signal on his tie.

the former (bwred all over) shows carlisle's suit surrounded by both memories of him and bruce at a younger age (before they went their separate ways) and small snapshots of them in the present, letting us know that the two aren't inherently mutually exclusive and that their past plays into their present. the question mark emphasizes that by being the sole color on the palette, in a very what the fuck happened? kind of way.

part of me kind of wants to put the scrawled font (beautiful horror btw !) as the final lettering for the cover but there's something about a clean font like arial black melting and being cut up by glass, drawing back to the whole "not everyone can be protected" motif and whatnot
