Kate Underwoods's POV,

It's been weeks and Andrew Taylor haven't called. And I wouldn't be astounded to it because I know my task for him was hard to find. Even if I'm having a fresh start, that doesn't stop myself finding out where the hell my best friend who disappeared out of nowhere. Even if she had abandoned me when I needed her the most, I can't stop help but miss her and worry because I don't know what's happening to her. Is she okay? Is she still alive? I can't help it! Where is she? I was thinking about this the whole day. Well, nothing much changed even when I first arrived here all I was thinking was, is my best friend okay?

We were currently heading to our table in the cafeteria when my phone starts ringing and Andrew Taylor's name flashed on my screen. I quickly answered the phone while running out of our cafeteria and find a private place since I didn't know any places here yet because I was still new I chose to go to these random hall because I know by then everyone is inside the cafeteria.

"What? Tell me now? What did you get? Do you know where she is?" I asked him with desperation laced in my voice.

"CHILL KATE UNDERWOODS," he said.

"TELL ME!!!" I exclaim. I needed to know now in this very fine moment.

"It's really hard to track down a person who doesn't want to be tracked down especially when that person has also many resources and disappears with a low profile. So far, I only found out which country she's currently in, which is the country she ever wanted to go," he said. All I know is that the only country she said she wants to live in, aside from New York is New Zealand. But that's impossible.

"What do you mean, she's in the same country as me?" I asked.

"Yeah but that's the only piece of information I can give because the rest of the information of hers is yet unknown". If she's here, I bet she's also in this school. Because before we usually dream in going here but you can't just abandon your life their especially when everyone in your country practically praises over you.

"Wait, I think were in the same school," I said that more to myself than to Andrew. It's unbelievable that she's in my school and I haven't noticed her.

"Alright. I'll try checking NZIS school if there's any new student with the name Becca Skyler" he said and I could hear him typing out something with his computer.

" I really miss her," I said truthfully.

"Me too," he said before hanging up.

I went back to the cafeteria and starts making conversations.

I was walking towards our cheerleading gym when I heard the twins talking.Therefore, the person that I am, I eavesdropped on their conversation.

"Have you done your Biology homework?" Kiera Vipers asked her sister.

"Who does homework?" I can imagine Samantha rolling her eyes towards her nerdy sister.

"Everyone? That's the reason why we go to school. Doing our homework is a part of us studying something new. Besides, you might get a detention. Aren't you tired of getting detentions?" She asked her sister. It's obvious that she's very disdained towards her sister.

"Don't worry sis" she mumbled.

"DON'T WORRY? DON'T WORRY?? ARE YOU INSANE. YOU GAVE ME MORE THAN A BILLION REASONS WHY I SHOULD WORRY ABOUT YOU" Kiera shouted.

"Calm down. I made one of the nerds do my homework until the end of the month." Samantha said which Kiera was about to lecture her about her recent wrongdoings, but Samantha hindered her before she could say anything.

"Not every girl can be as goody two shoes as you are. And you can't make someone be like you. I get it were twins but were the exact opposite. And you can't make me be you so drop it, idiot." she harshly said. Wow, she really doesn't care if it's her own sister. She's a bitch and everyone knows it.

FLASHBACK TO FEW DAYS AGO

"Are you a magician?" I was putting on my things inside my new locker when someone lean in next to my locker and asked me a question. When I faced him, I didn't have to ask who is he because I know him. ANTHONY HUNTER. I met him before along with the other popular kids here in this school. How? Well, I once went to a school in New York and the school's name is UES which stands for Upper East School. This school was our rivalry before. They were the best among any other schools you ever been except our school (UES).

One of our victory parties held after our event that day, they ended up crashing our party even if they weren't invited. We didn't like them and it was obvious but no matter how much we want them to go their too stubborn to leave and that's how we met them except Scarlet we met her before that. This also leads to me and Anthony Hunter waking up in the morning together. Just encase you didn't know, Anthony and I are both players.

Anyhow, I let him finish his cheesy pickup line. In all sincerity, I haven't affected to his cheesy pickup lines because I do it as well.

"Because whenever I look at you everyone else disappears."I rolled my eyes but then I kissed him in the cheeks.

"You never know we might do it again" I winked at him before closing my locker. I know that he knows what I was talking about.

He leaned in but before he gets to kiss me, he was slammed to the locker beside me and was met with a slut giving him a hungry kiss which he gladly returns and I rolled my eyes.

"It's Samantha encase you forgot," she said after pulling away.

"I didn't"

"Good because I bet you also know that in this school. I'm the hottest and that all guys go after me so don't bother trying," she said looking me up and down with disgust all over her eyes.

"No worries even if I don't bother trying I still get all the guys. Besides their the one chasing me. As much as I want to say the exact same thing to you, I can't because that would be a lie. Let's take this as an instant. He approached me first, but you came up to him first." I smirked. She was about to slap me when a hand caught her wrist which was Scarlet Cadence.

"She's in the popular crowd and as much as I want to see you guys fight I still want to introduce myself properly" she emphasize the word 'properly'.

The first time she came up to us before the competition.

"Goodluck because you really need it if you're going against us," she bragged. We didn't know her name yet.

"Oh sorry, I forgot to introduce myself" she laughed at herself as if she made the funniest joke ever.

"I'm-" she was caught of shortly by my best friend, Becca Skyler.

"A bitch? A whore? A sore loser? A girl who wants attention?" Becca asked. She was going to reply when Becca piped in again.

"I'm guessing you're all of that. Oh, okay. Nice to meet you. Oops, sorry that was a lie." Becca smirked. She was about to reply when her principal came in and was dragging her back to their side. I chuckled towards Becca's behavior. Nobody can ever step on her or anyone in her side as long as she was there.

END OF FLASHBACK

If you're wondering why would I hang out with this terrible person is because I met someone in the popular crowd worthy to be nice too. Kiera was the only reason I like hanging out with them.

After Samantha harshly said those words headed to her twin she immediately left and the friend that I have I approached her.

"Hey," I sat down to one of the benches opposite of the bench she was seating on. She looked at me and I saw her giving me her weak smile.

"You heard?" she asked quietly and I nodded in return.

"I don't know what's gotten into her. She was always nice to everyone especially me she was never insensitive to the feelings of others but after meeting scarlet she changed." It was actually the first time she opened up something to me. Usually, she was the joyful one. By the way, I only met her here in this school because she wasn't with the other popular kids who decided to crash our party before. I even insulted her the first time we met and she laughed and told me she wasn't Samantha and she was her twin. I didn't believe her because they look exactly alike but then Samantha walked in the classroom with Scarlet.

Before we could talk further, we heard Scarlet shouting to all of the girls to come inside the gym because we're starting our cheerleading practice. I didn't have to audition and show them my skills because they've all watched me already before. If they find me amazing well Becca is incredulously incredible. But I wasn't surprised because she rocks all sports, music, academics and etc. She was unbelievably talented. She was like an older sister to me and I looked up to her until I realize how much of a coward she is. I'm hurt for what she did.

But I still love my best friend because she was the only one who truly cared about me.

If she did then why did she leave you as well?

Maybe she had a reason behind it. I said to myself who I'm talking to right now. Yes, I know I'm very weird.

Whatever that reason was I'm going to find out.

It's time to find BECCA SKYLER!
