Back to square one. Heard of that phrase before? Well in case you haven't, it means going back to the beginning, after a dead-end or failure.

The past few years have been a tortuous year for me, but I was lucky enough to survive. But on the other side, I did learn a lot of things from my experiences.

This year is a new year which means new me and new life. I may not be able to hide from my past forever but in the time being I need too because I'm still not ready. And, the 'new me' will be careful in everything she's doing because one single move can lead to a big mess. Because you never know that, that small thing can be a drop in the bucket.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm calling the police"

"Are you insane? Becca, think of what will happen to us"

"I don't have any other option"

"Becca! Becca! Look-"

"-You're going to be late. Breakfast is downstairs" Ugh, what time is it? I looked at my alarm clock and it was 7;00 am. Big Whoop. My new school starts at 7;15 am and I'm going to have- OMyCappachino I only have 15 minutes.

I quickly jumped out of my bed and start rushing out to my new routine. When I mentioned earlier, this year will be the 'new me'. Well, I mean it literally. I bought a wig which is long wavy blonde and a pair of nerdy glasses.

In summary, I'm in disguise. I needed to abscond from the mess I made. I can't handle everything, I'm still young.

Well, you could've thought of that before making decisions that would put you on risk in the future.

And you could shut up before I shut you up all by myself.

How are you going to do that if I'm you?

Agh! Why am I even talking to myself?

I took the box from my hiding spot. A box that held's a lot of secrets and pieces of evidence. Especially the phone that I'm hiding in this box. I checked my phone and I got a message from an unknown number. The same unknown number that has been texting me since that night.

One night, one raped one suicide, one killed and one betrayal. Guess which one are you?

"Becca! You're late" my mom shouted from downstairs. I quickly put the phone back inside the box and hid it. I took my new phone from my table and before going downstairs, I doubled check myself. I have my blonde wavy wig, a pair of nerdy glasses and hideous clothes I've ever worn. I smiled with satisfaction because no one will ever suspect who I am.

"Honey, what are you wearing?" My mom asked.

"New me" was all I said. It's the first day of school in a new school; I don't want to have this type of conversations.

"The old you used to be happy. What happened? "

"Mom" I warned her.

"Before, you go to parties before the first day of sch-"

"Things changed so drop it." I lost my appetite to eat the food infront of me so I took an apple from the counter and headed to school. My mom didn't know what happened. But that night when I told her to book a flight for us to New Zealand and I wanted to change school, that made her suspicious that something happened.

New Zealand International School with an initial of 'NZIS'. A dream school of every high school kids. A school where most kids -when they are asked to make a composition of how amazing this school is- will say 'Our school is not only categorized as an academic school but also as a music school, drama school, information technology school, eco-school and sports school. Like every other school, it's an academic school. You could say our school is humongous and took three-fourth of New Zealand. Okay, I was exaggerating. But it is big and it will take months for you to finally know where to go.'

To be honest, I don't know which one I should focus because I have five options. Well, actually six options but is academics really an option. Obviously, my mom will want me to focus on to that but I can also choose another if I want to.

Here in my booklet – the school gives new students a booklet, which gives a few information about NZIS. In the first few pages, it describes the different categories of the school. Since, everyone knows what academic is. I'll skip that one out.

MUSIC

An educational specialized in the study, training and research of music. Instruction includes training in the performance of, singing, conducting, as well as academic and research fields. There will be a concert held once a year by our school and different singers and musicians are to go to our school to have a one-week music session with them. We also have a camp which is only for music so that the students are able to know what they are capable of doing. In short, the camp helps them discover their talents and realize the beauty of music. We also join competitions which are international. The top 3 in every senior class in music are given a free scholarship.

DRAMA

It specializes in the pre-professional training in and arts, such as acting and related subjects. This school is where most actors come from. This school helps actors to find their talents in acting. Actors such as Cara Delevinge, Nat Wolff, and even Blake Lively would visit these school once or twice a year and help to encourage the young generation to be future actors. Top 15 actors of the senior year in our school will have an opportunity to go to Hollywood and be actors in movies.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The advancement of computers and communication technology continues to have a profound impact on our lives, and the workplace needs technically competent people to provide appropriate computing solutions for users. This category of our school focuses on providing a broad-based foundation in (IT) and on helping students develop skills and knowledge in technical areas with practical value in the school. In addition to technical knowledge, many IT students need to be able to communicate, handle multiple tasks at once and assess user needs when developing computer-based solutions. We also teach problem solving, critical thinking, and communication and teamwork skills. Most programs taught in residence offer practical applications of classroom theory in a lab environment, where students are encouraged to apply their classroom instruction. Once a year, a company such as the AITI will go to our school and find new entrepreneurs.

ECO

Aims to empower students to be the change our sustainable world needs by engaging them in a fun, action-orientated learning. Our school follows a seven-step change process and empowers our young generation to lead processes and actions wherever they can. Over time and through a commitment to our school seven step process, improvements will be seen in the learning outcomes, attitude and behavior of students and the local community and ultimately the local environment. Evidence of success in these areas will eventually lead to a school being awarded 'The Green Flag'. Which our school is awarded 'The Green Flag' every year?

SPORTS

This is where best athletics is often found due to our school participating varies of competitions all over the country. We have one area of the school that contains different courts of sports. We have space for swimmers to train. They usually have classes in the afternoons. We have a big basketball court which is next to the baseball court. The tennis court is placed near the badminton court. We also have a court where we train students to be very fast racers which are trained by Usain Bolt himself who is the fastest man in the world. We have a hall for the cheerleaders but are also used every gymnastic lesson. There's a court outside also for the cheerleaders for them to do their stunt routines.

WOW, I'm amazed of how cool this school is. It's actually a well-known school. No wonder our school fees every month is around millions and that doesn't include school trip fees.

Back to my point, which one should I take? I mean I'm good at sports and I was a representative of our school when it comes to playing the piano or singing. I once competed with Courtney Nora (who is the representative of NZIS) not to brag but I won of course. I was a girl who's best in everything well that's what I thought before. NZIS was our rivalry before UES (Upper East school is located in New York. All the students there are the typical rich kids and most of them live in the upper east side of New York.) The school I used to go is no longer well known for some reasons I don't know because as I aforementioned I no longer study there. UES joins various competitions just like NZIS although they pay to win unlike my school, we play by fair.

Good thing the school gave me a week to decide. De facto, the school had let me join each and every category in that one week so I could make the right choice.

If some of you guys are wondering, if I know some people here well I actually do. I know the popular crowd in this School. Scarlet Cadence the typical Queen B. Spoiled kid and the prettiest girl in NZIS, not to mention is currently dating William Thomas.

William Thomas is the meat in every girl's eyes. The quarterback in football which is our school more focused on. His family is the wealthiest family in the whole world. His dad owns more than 65 companies and his family earns billions less than a second. Who is also the ex- best friend of Anthony Hunter.

Anthony Hunter is the player of NZIS well actually the player of New Zealand and his last name completely screams 'danger' which describe him fully since he stole every girls heart and turns it into pieces that can never be fixed. Who are best friends with Alexander Carter?

Alexander Carter is the badass who vandalizes a lot of places and gets into fights every single day. Rumors have it that Alex and Anthony are only best friends just because there both players although Alex got the title 'BADBOY' because he's the last person on your list you ever want to mess with. Rumors also said he's been to jail for millions of times, but his records are clean. More like paying the police. Who calls Samantha Vipers for a booty call.

Samantha Vipers is the hottest girl in New Zealand and is also a Victoria secret model. She gets what she wants when she wants. Although you also don't want to mess with her just like her last name she's a woman who bites and could possibly leave poisonous to your life. Who are surprisingly twins with Keira Vipers?

Kiera Vipers is the opposite of her last name. She's the jolly and happy one. Who only thinks of the positive sides and happy moments. The one that your mom would always force you to date. The kind of girl who believes in happy ever after.

How I know there crowd? Well, I wish I could say I'm Becca Skyler, but I'm Lauren Candice a girl who is an outcast and never get anyone's attention. I'm no longer Becca Skyler because that girl is dead since that night.
