Battleborn's Perspective: Chapter 16: Skipping Ahead
((Author's Note: I stumbled into an author's block, so I decided to skip the Corrupted James parts of the story. Sorry guys. If you want another book just about that, comment below! Thanks! ~ Battl3))
Three months after the war with Battleborn...
Battleborn, now known by his mortal name James, sat with his now fiance Christa Gear. It had been several months since he had asked the demigoddess of Hades to be his bride. Now their wedding was coming any day now. He knew she would become immortal once the two tied the knot. The only question remained: what about her camp duties? James thought it over many times before. He shrugged it off. Did it matter anymore? He's about to marry the woman of his dreams! He wasn't going to miss this chance. The two would go down in history as the cutest immortal couple. "James?" A small voice interrupted his thoughts. He looked at her, "Yes, my love?" he smiled. She returned his smile with one of her own. "I just wanted to know what you were thinking about. You had your thinking face on again," she smirked, giggling. His face turned red. He loved when she played with his emotions. Simply because she knew how to get him in the right moods every time. He never wanted this to end, "Nothing, my dear. I was simply thinking of our lives after Camp Half~Blood," he said honestly. Christa's face turned bright red as she snuggled close to the undefeatable war god, "I love you so much, James," she murmured. He smirked, holding her close, "I love you too, my darling,"
The next morning later...
James awoke to Christa laying close to him. Disobeying Camp rules and being out of her cabin. I guess they don't care? James thought. He knew he didn't care. He loved waking to the smell of the daughter of death. It filled him with pleasure and warmth. James cuddled close to her, taking advantage of the moment. He blushed to see her body under the blanket. He couldn't help but to rub her body a bit, accidentally waking her up. Damnit. He cussed. She yawned, "Good morning to you to, baby," Christa giggled. "Good mrning, s-sorry. I didn't mean to~" he stammered. Christa placed a finger on his lips, shushing him, "I didn't say I didn't like it. You're fine. In more ways than one," she winks. He blushes, nodding. "Just wait until we're married, love," she smirks, cuddling close.
