Chapter 9
Izuku hummed happily as he packed. He had a small bag but it wasn't like he needed to take all of his things. He just needed the most important things.
His door opened and he froze at the familiar scent.
"Packing already? Did you find someone who will get rid of it?" Katsuki asked, crossing his arms.
The Omega set the bag down. "Kacchan, the procedure could kill me..."
Katsuki paused. "Well... There's... There's a chance it won't, right..?"
Izuku turned to look at him. "Are you really willing to risk it?" He watched as the slightest amount of fear flashed in the King's eyes.
Finally, the Alpha breathed deeply. "I cannot have the responsibility of a child on me as war hangs over our heads."
The greenette frowned and looked down. He sighed and turned back to his bag. "Fine... At least Shoto wants the baby," he muttered.
Katsuki's eyes widened and his shoulders tensed. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me."
"That damn half and half prince is courting you!?" Katsuki snarled, grabbing Izuku's arm and forcing him to turn around. Izuku flinched. "No! Absolutely not. You are not leaving with him!"
Tears built up in his eyes once more. "Why not!? He wants me! He cares what I think and how I feel! He wants to mark me as his and raise my baby!" He shouted back, pushing Katsuki off of him.
Katsuki looked at him with shocked disbelief.
"I'm done waiting for you..." Izuku muttered, grabbing his bag. "Goodbye, Katsuki." He stepped around the Alpha and walked out.

"Promise me you'll write me! At least once a week!"
Izuku chuckled, squeezing Uraraka's hands. "I swear it, Ochako. You're my best friend, I have to keep you updated." He pulled her in for an embrace and nuzzled her hair.
Shoto watched them fondly, holding their horses.
The greenette sighed. "Bye, Ochako. Maybe you could visit when the baby is born."
Uraraka smiled and nodded. "Hopefully."
Izuku turned to Shoto and smiled wider. The prince had such a warm expression that seemed to lift a weight off his shoulders.
The Alpha helped Izuku onto his horse before mounting his own.
Izuku looked back to the palace, pausing as he spotted Katsuki standing on his private balcony. His hands gripped the railing and his heated glare was not fixed on him, but on Shoto.
Swallowing thickly, Izuku looked down. Doubt slowly began to settle in the pit of his stomach.
~
Katsuki twitched, growling deeply as he watched Izuku ride away with the prince and his small caravan.
Eijirou stood behind him, arms folded. "If you had stayed out of his room like I told you to, this wouldn't have happened."
The King whipped around with a snarl. "Shut up, dragon breath! I don't need you to remind me!"
"Really?" The red head raised a brow, then gestured to the retreating greenette. "Because it seems like you do. You know, you're acting like this isn't all your fault," Eijirou muttered with a shake of his head.
"My fault!?" Katsuki grabbed Eijirou's shirt and yanked him so they were face to face. "Explain to me how any of this is my fault!" He demanded.
The dragon shifter huffed. "Okay. If you say so." He breathed deeply and carded his fingets through his hair. "You fucked him during a mini heat when you had warning and no protection, you never marked him, never was nice to him, you push him around, constantly demanding his body, you get him pregnant during the mini heat and when he comes to you telling you that you got him pregnant, you demand that he get rid of the child without even bothering to ask what he might want. Do I need to bring up more points?"
Katsuki's grip on Eijirou slackened and his shoulders drooped. He gulped and looked back. "It's my fault... I pushed him away. I should never... Never have..." He stepped back to the railing, gripping it tightly as tears stung his eyes. He watched as Izuku disappeared into the shadows of the nearby treeline. "I need to go after him. I need to get him back before Todoroki claims him!" He pivoted, stopping only as Kirishima spread his wings to block his path.
"Do you really think that's a good idea?"
"Yes! Now get out of my way!"
"Are you going to bring him back of his own will, or of yours!?"
Katsuki froze, looking Eijirou in the eyes. He swallowed hard. "I..." He looked away, then back. "I need him... I need him, Eijirou..."
The dragon shifter sighed, folding his wings. "I know..."
