Katsuki kicked the dead soldier off of him and scrambled to his feet. Without a thought to his forgotten sword, he bolted across the clearing and up the small hill.

Chest heaving, Katsuki fell to his knees beside the Omega, heart clenching. "Oh, Gods... Please be okay..." With shaking hands, Katsuki carefully pulled Izuku into his chest. He unclipped his cloak and draped it over the greenette. "Izuku..?"

Relief flooded over Katsuki as Izuku sighed and his eyes fluttered. "Katsuki..?"

The King smiled and nodded, caressing Izuku's cheek. "I'm here... I'm right here, Izuku."

A tired smile curled Izuku's lips. "I knew... You'd come..."

Katsuki chuckled and rested his forehead against Izuku's. "Nerd..."

Katsuki sighed as he walked through the infirmary of his palace. Soldiers lay in bed, finally comfortable after a few days of healing and rest. He paused as he looked to the end of the infirmary, where Izuku sat beside Shoto, speaking softly to him.

The King bit his lip and stopped close by them. He folded his arms. "Hey. You good to go?"

Both Shoto and Izuku looked up at him.

"Recovery Girl just cleared Sho to ride." Izuku answered.

"And you?"

The Omega's eyes shifted and his fingers toyed with the hem of his shirt. "I'm fine. Uhm... So is... So is the baby..."

Katsuki closed his eyes, a weight he hadn't realized was there lifting off his chest. He breathed deeply and nodded. The two hadn't spoken since they returned to the palace days previous, so neither had a chance to tell the other what was on their minds.

"Do you have all your things ready to go?" Katsuki asked after a short silence.

Izuku looked up to Shoto, who smiled softly and nodded, squeezing his hand. "I... Actually need to talk to you..."

That surprised Katsuki. The King only nodded and let himself be lead out by the Omega. They walked until they were alone.

"What is it," the Alpha inquired softly.

Izuku wrung his hands, turning to face Katsuki. "I... I realized..." He sucked in a sharp breath, hands on his abdomen. "Before they attacked us... I realized... I couldn't leave here... Leave you... Not without..." He swallowed hard, tears already beginning to build in his eyes. "Katsuki, I want this baby... I know they were an accident and they were never supposed to happen, but I want them... And I... I want to raise them with you..." He finally met the King's eyes. "I always... Held out hope that maybe... Maybe one day, you would mark me... Claim me as your Omega... I don't care about being Queen, I just wanted to be by your side. I love you... I always have..."

Katsuki stared at the Omega with wide eyes, speechless. He gulped searching for his lost words.

Izuku's hopefullness seemed to die down in his eyes as he looked away. "But... If you don't want the baby... Or don't want me, then... Then I'll go with Shoto..."

He started to back away and as soon as Katsuki's mind wrapped around what was just revealed to him, he grabbed Izuku's wrist and pulled the Omega into his chest.

The greenette gasped, eyes wide. Katsuki nuzzled into his hair, holding him tightly.

"I love you, too," he muttered, closing his eyes tightly. "I'm sorry... Sorry for how horribly I treated you... And for the awful things I said when you told me that you're pregnant..." He grit his teeth, shoulders shaking. "I don't ever... Ever want to lose you, Izuku... I need you with me..."

Izuku whimpered and held onto the Alpha. He nuzzled into Katsuki.

"I thought that... As a King, I couldn't show weakness... And I got it into my head that accepting my feelings for you would be weakness... And when you said that I got you pregnant... That's more for our enemys to go after... Just like Shigaraki did in the mountains..."

The Omega gripped Katsuki tighter. "Shigaraki won't be after us for a long time..."

Katsuki nodded, swaying with Izuku. "I know... So... You'll stay..?"

Izuku smiled. "Yes... I'll stay..."

The Alpha sighed and relaxed, rubbing Izuku's back. "Good. I don't think I could watch you ride off with half and half again."

Izuku giggled softly, shaking his head.
