*Demi's POV*

It's been a day since I gave Niall my number, I actually expected him to text me after school but it looks like I put my hopes too high.

I sighed and walked over to my room. I pulled out the exam papers I needed to check for the other classes, and started checking them.

It felt like I've been correcting these for hours but it's only been 30 minutes, I'm gonna cry. They don't finish.

I decided to take a short break, which ended up being 2 hours.

As I was gonna return to correcting the exams my phone beeped. It was an unknown number. Weird.

Unknown: heyy its Niall......er

Or not I'm just stupid I forgot I gave him my number without knowing his.

.......oh my god he texted me. I think I'm gonna pass out.

Don't say anything stupid Demi. Act like you're older and actually a teacher.

Demi: helllooooo Nialler how are you kid?

No no no that's stupid. I erased the kid from the text. But it makes me older. Just shut up Demi and send.

Demi: helllooooo Nialler how are you?

I pressed send and threw my phone on my bed. Geez, was I too desperate to reply right away? I'm just gonna ignore and correct the exams. I was not stupid to say that. I will ignore my stupidity.

*meanwhile Niall's POV*

"ADAM WHAT THE FUCK WHY DID YOU ADD ER IN THE END"

"It's cuter that way" he smiled cheekily.

"God, why am I friends with you?"

"Bc you like me and I'm a great person"

I shook my head and ignored him. "SEEEEE, you're not even denying it"

I continued to ignore him without realizing that my phone beeped.

"Do you think she'll take long to reply?"

"Nahh just give her two minutes"

"Okay I'll check the tim- HOLY SHIT SHE REPLIED"

Badass Teacher: helllooooo Nialler how are you?

"What do I say what do I say?"

"Niall", Adam put his hands on my shoulders "calm the fuck down", and slapped me.

"No need to get physical, Adam" I rubbed my cheek.

"Just reply casually"

"If you say so"

Niall: I'm good I'm good wbu?

"I wrote in shortcut do you think she'll understand?"

"She's not that old Niall"

"How old is she?"

"Dunno, ask her"

I gave him a straight face, "how the fuck am I supposed to ask that"

"Find a way buddy, I'm out" Adam patted my shoulder and walked out the restaurant. I shook my head not believing that he just left me in here like this.

Badass teacher: I'm gr8 thx for asking

Niall: np wyd?

Badass teacher: nothing really, u?

Niall: same :/

Badass teacher: Niall don't ever let anyone tell you that being a teacher is a good job

Niall: whyy what's up with it?

Badass teacher: you'll cry and die correcting exams

Badass teacher: I wonder how English teachers feel correcting assays

Niall: I thought you weren't doing anything :p

Badass teacher:..........

Badass teacher: well I'm correcting exams

Niall: haha was that hard to say

Badass teacher: but I gotta sound badass

Niall: dw ur name says that already

Badass teacher: 😎

Badass teacher: wait

Badass teacher: my name? What's my name in ur phone? 👀

Niall: 😶

Niall: haha okei I think I gotta go now

Shit.

Badass teacher: wait where you going?
