Wheeler was still in the lobby with Ahsoka's blaster held to the Changeling. "Has he moved?" she asked, and the Pantorian shook her head.

"He's out cold. How are you planning to get him...wherever you're taking him?"

In response, Ahsoka took her blaster back, holstered it, and used the Force to lift the Changeling up and towards the door. Wheeler's eyes went wide, since Ahsoka refrained from using the Force in front of her colleagues. She watched as Ahsoka left. "I'll be back eventually. Keep an eye out," she bade Wheeler, and she shut the front door.

Just like Ahsoka had suspected, a Jedi speeder was parked just outside the shop, resting on the shaft platform by the back door. Ahsoka settled the Changeling in the backseat, checked the fuel levels, and started the ignition. She set her bag aside and shifted the speeder into gear and made her way up the shaft.

After merging with upgoing traffic, Ahsoka activated the communication console on the dash. She contacted the Republic Center for Military Operations. She knew that clones were stationed there regularly, and if she was going to flush the Changelings out of the Temple she wasn't going to be able to do it alone. Well, she probably could, but now wasn't the time for unnecessary recklessness, not when the Jedi Order was at stake. Especially the Younglings.

Despite any misgivings about the Jedi, she knew that Coruscant depended on them for protection as well as most of the Republic. If the Order fell, all hell would break loose. Civilians would go into a system-wide panic, and the Separatists were sure to jump on the opportunity. For the sake of everyone on the planet, and probably in the Republic Alliance, the Jedi Order needed to endure. Ahsoka might not have trusted them, but she wasn't selfish enough to put her history in front of the entire population. All she had to do was alert the clones and they would be able to handle the situation. She would go too, at the very least, to make sure that Caleb and the Younglings were okay, and then she would go home. Hypothetically.

Ahsoka wasn't too worried about Anakin. Whatever mess he had gotten himself into, he was probably capable of getting himself out of. That's if he even was involved in the mess. For all she knew, Anakin could be off-world on a mission.

Her call went through, and a clone she didn't recognize appeared above her dash. The clone was about to go through the usual protocol greeting, but when he saw the Togruta, he froze. "Uhh...yes? Are, are you authorized to be piloting a government speeder?"

"No," she answered truthfully, "but I had no other way to contact you. I have proof that the Jedi Order has been infiltrated by Changelings. The fate of the lives in the Temple are at stake, and according to the Guidelines for Emergency Protocols handbook, this qualifies as a planet-wide emergency. I am flying the speeder I am in to your building at the moment, and when I arrive, I would like to speak with the commander on duty. My name is Ahsoka Tano."

The clone, clearly taken aback by her reply, got to work immediately. Normally, civilians who hijacked government communication lines were reported and tracked down, but this person knew too much information to be joking around. "How long before you land, Ahsoka Tano?" It was right then that the clone trooper realized who he was talking to. He stared at the caller, who certainly looked like the Jedi Gone Rogue, while she answered.

"About fifteen minutes away," she guessed. "You should also know that I will be arriving with weapons. If you need me to surrender them at the hangar, I am willing to do so."

The soldier nodded. "Noted. We will prepare for your arrival, ah, Miss Tano."

Ahsoka ended the call and continued flying up, thinking through what she wanted to say when she got there. She didn't know exactly how the clone troopers would respond to her appearance, especially after a year and three months after she had left, but she hoped that they could put their duty before their memory just like she was. As the speeder exited the shaft and raced off towards the Military building, Ahsoka mentally prepared herself for any reaction she might receive.

True to the clone's word, at least two squadrons were waiting for her in the landing area of the building. The hangar was swarming with clone troopers, more of them than Ahsoka had seen in a long time, and she was certain that at least some of them had come to see her. She killed the engine and grabbed her bag, but didn't put it on her back. She was probably going to have to submit it for a search soon, so there was no point in wearing it. Ahsoka lifted the Changeling, still clothed in Jedi robes, out of the passenger seat and onto the ground, and half of the troopers raised their blasters at the snoring imposter. The other half trained their focus on Ahsoka herself, underneath their helmets. They didn't aim at her, but Ahsoka knew that any sudden or violent movement would set them off, so she walked directly to the clone commander that was waiting for her, along with another squadron of troopers behind him. She certainly had earned a reputation in the Republic. There was no other reason why so much security was present.

The commander was one Ahsoka hadn't met before, and the shiny armor gave it away. He approached Ahsoka with his weapon holstered, which she appreciated. "Ahsoka Tano," he greeted her, before getting to business. "I'm going to have to ask you to declare all weapons and other belongings on your person."

Ahsoka knelt down and set her bag next to her before pulling out what she had with her. "I took this lightsaber and comlink from the Changeling clad in Jedi robes. This is my blaster, my credits, extra food, my intersystem passport, and my two lightsabers. I also have this comlink on my wrist and an identification tag in my boot. I have no other possessions on my person or in my bag."

Two clones came up and inspected the items she had laid down on the ground, and searched her bag for any other hidden items. Some people might have been offended by the lack of trust, but Ahsoka knew they were following protocol. She waited patiently on her knees while they confirmed her statements, and they nodded to the commander before stepping back.

"You may take back your possessions," the commander told her, "but I ask that you not use or brandish any of your weapons while you are on the premises."

Ahsoka nodded. "Yes, Commander," she answered, and she put the food, passport, credits, and lightsabers back in her bag, and the blaster back on her hip. She picked up Windu's lightsaber and comlink to hand to the trooper. "I believe you may want these."

The commander held them and inspected them, although for what, Ahsoka had no idea. He turned to the squadron behind them and dismissed them, before facing Ahsoka. "Let's go see about this Changeling," he told her, and Ahsoka walked behind him, clearly acknowledging that he had the authority between the two of them.

"You said the Changeling had these?" He confirmed, using the lightsaber to point at him.

Ahsoka nodded. "The Changeling came to the shop I work at in the form of Jedi Master Mace Windu. He said that the Jedi needed me, but I knew that he was an imposter so I disarmed him and knocked him unconscious. A few minutes later, a call came from the Temple from Padawan Caleb Dume. After making sure it was him, he told me that there were more Jedi that were either missing or not acting normal. He could sense in the Force that the Changelings were not Jedi."

The commander whistled. "Sounds like trouble."

Nodding again, Ahsoka asked, "What is your name, sir?" She hadn't caught it earlier.

The clone seemed surprised that she would ask, but he responded all the same, "I go by Commander Touser, although I heard you were a commander once, too. Once I got out of the Academy, a lot of people were talking about you."

"They had a good reason to be," Ahsoka admitted. "The Inquisitor stirred up the Clone War, and many people suspected she was me in disguise."

Commander Touser nodded, then crouched down by the Changeling, whom the two had approached. After a quick study of him, he chuckled. "Yeah, you knocked him out cold." He turned to the men next to him, asking, "Do we have a name yet?"

The men shook their heads. "He's not in the system yet, sir. It looks like he's unregistered."

"Take him over to the Detention Center," he ordered. "We'll let them figure out what to do with him. We have a bigger problem to worry about."

The soldiers saluted and complied with the order, lifting the Changeling off. Ahsoka doubted she would ever see him again.

Touser turned to face Ahsoka. "I think you had best hold onto these," he said, extending the lightsaber and the comlink back to her. Ahsoka smiled, grateful that she had earned some trust despite her track record. She took them and put them away in her bag, saving them for later. When she found Windu and anyone else that might be in trouble, she would return them.

Walking into the building, Touser began asking Ahsoka questions. "It's true that the Temple has kids in there, right? Do you know anything about what's happening with them?"

"Commander Dume is working on gathering them and hiding them in the blast rooms down in the basement," she explained. "He suspected that only Jedi Generals were compromised and that most of the Commanders and children were left alone, for now."

"At least they're out of the way," Touser mused. "It makes it easier to take the intruders down. Any idea how many?"

She shook her head. "No, sir."

He sighed. "So we have to figure out who's who."

"There's an instrument specifically designed for Changelings," Ahsoka reminded him. "If it comes into contact with the Changeling's skin, it will shock them into transforming back."

The commander was about to ask how she, a civilian, would know about such a tool, but he thought better of it and changed his mind. "And I suppose you can still use the Force?"

"Yes, sir."

Touser nodded, then stopped walking and asked, "If you were planning to seize the Temple, how would you do it?

Ahsoka was astonished that he would ask for her opinion, but she gave it all the same. "The least anticipated route would be through the roof. If a squadron with jet packs flew over the Temple in a gunship and dove down, they could get in through the roof doors. If you wanted more than one squad on the mission, two more could use the ground entrances: one through the hangar, and another up the front steps."

Immediately, the clone commander activated his comlink. "I want three squads in gunships in ten minutes, and one of them needs to grab jet packs." He turned to Ahsoka. "I don't suppose you would mind leading the rooftop squadron?"

After a second of stunned silence, Ahsoka replied. "Not at all, Commander."
