Episode 9: Waves
"You're... So... Annoying!" Diane yelled.
Blake and Silver gave each other a corner eye. They both had worried faces. As usual, Diane and Roy were having a futile scuffle.
"Should we stop them?" Blake asked.
Silver nodded his head in disagreement.
Blake sighed. "If only they would just work out their issues in a more civilized fashion..."
'I know right...' Silver signed.
"Ugh! You never want to listen to what I have to say do you!" Roy yelled.
"What's the point? Nothing good is going to come from that metal brain of yours!"
Roy clenched his fists. "At least it's not fried like yours!"
They pushed their faces against each others', trying their best to push each other back with facial muscles.
"You're the idiot!" the sister yelled.
Roy spun around and flashed his spiky, long, red ponytail. "I don't have time for this." he said.
Silver and Blake looked at Roy with worry as he walked down the hall.
"And then you ask why we don't form Theia again..."
Diane stared at her brother and turned toward the opposite direction.
"What's Theia? Some kind of game?" Blake asked.
Diane sighed. Diane spun around rapidly, bumping into a blue haired girl before she could respond.
"Oww. Look where you're going!" Diane snapped. She rubbed her head. But remorse hit her when she noticed the girl laying next to her held a white cane.
Roy turned around, having heard the noise. He ran over and grabbed her hand. "Allow me to help," he said.
Diane rolled her eyes. This guy is only kind to girls who aren't his sister.
"Interesting," the girl said, grinning as she stood up. "Thanks, kind sir."
Roy flashed her a toothy grin. "No problem, mademoiselle. Always happy to help a person in need."
Silver rolled his eyes. It was Diane and Blake who helped him, not Roy.
Blake rolled his eyes too. Roy didn't even help them defeat Mr. Zombie!
Diane pushed her brother away. "Weren't you leaving? And before you do, wipe that drool off of your face!"
Roy touched his mouth. "I'm not drooling!" he whispered. He turned around. "It was nice meeting you... uh..."
"Name's Bella Alma," she said with a closed smile on her face. "What's yours, kind sir?"
"Roy, Leave!" Diane said, burning his behind.
"Roy huh..." Bella said in a soft, quiet voice. "French for king..."

The five of them began their steady walk to school.
"It's a pretty long distance. Why are we walking?" Blake asked.
"Mom has a business trip and she needed to take the car. Plus she doesn't trust Roy after what he did last time." Diane explains, darting her eyes at Roy.
Roy strolled in front with a frustrated face.
"What happened?" Melony asked.
Blake got chills from the gentle voice. His face turned cherry red in front of the four of them.
Roy chuckled. "Look, he's freezing up! This is hilarious!"
Diane elbowed his side. "Shut up...!" she whispered.
Silver also hit him, sending him daggers. Blake was so nervous. He turned his head first and the rest of his body turned just seconds after.
Blake stared into her daring eyes. 'W-what's going on... I've never felt like this before... What's this sound in my head...?' he thought. 'My heartbeat's getting louder...?'
Melony looked from left to right with a watermelon pink blushed face. "What's wrong, Blake?"
"Melony?" Bella said, stepping towards the source of the voice.
"Bella!" Melony yelled, running over to her. She gave her a big hug. "Ready for practice?"
"Practice?" Roy asked, suddenly interested.
"We're both in the tennis team."
"Really? Do they accept boys?"
"No silly!" Melony said. "It's an all girls team. We do have a boys team too though! Hey, Blake! You should join too!"
"Wha... Me?" Blake stammered, pointing at himself.
"He's so cute when he's nervous." Diane said, giggling.
Silver couldn't help but feel strange by that statement. His eyes twitched, but nevertheless keeping his composure.
"I... I'm not..." Blake tried to get out but his tongue wouldn't stop twisting up.
Melony played with her hair. Looking away from him, awaiting a response.
Roy grabbed onto Blake's shirt.
"Alright. Time to head to class!" Roy yelled, dragging him away.
Melony followed after them while drool ran down Blake's face. It was a good thing that they had math together first thing in the morning.
The first half of the day rapidly passed. Though Blake groaned as the bell ran. His lunch was over and that meant P.E. time. He dragged his feet toward class so Diane pulled him.
"Come on Blake!" she yelled. "We're going to be late."
Silver watched them. That strange feeling in his chest reappeared. He shook his head. As soon as he could, he would get a check up.
The tetra entered the locker rooms and quickly got changed. Once they were done, Silver and Blake met back up with Melony and Diane at the gym-- A big room with an orange floor and basketball hoops on opposite sides.
"Hey you three!" Roy yelled. He was already seated with the rest of the class. Next to him was Bella.
"Chatting her up, eh?" Diane said, leering at her brother.
Roy just whistled.
"Hello class. Today we'll be splitting you up into groups," their P.E. teacher, Mrs. Alma said as she glanced at her clipboard. "The group leaders this time will be Blake Spencer and Chenge Xiao. You'll all be allowed to pick who you'll like on your group. First up is Mr. Xiao."
A confident looking senior stood up and glanced at the class. It was Blake's first time seeing him. Had he skipped? After all, seniors tended to skip out a lot more on their last year.
He smiled at Melony whose eyes were focused on Blake. "I'll like you to join my group. Watermelon eyes."
Melony glanced up at him. "M... me?"
He nodded. "You're Melony, aren't you? One of the best athletes in the school. I've heard a great deal of things from you."
"Oh..." She stood up and lined up behind him.
Blake frowned, but he quickly returned to the task. He pointed at Silver. "I'll take him on my team."
"The mute?" someone in the group asked.
"Well, he is strong," another said.
Silver smiled at Blake as he lined up behind him.
Chenge grinned at Blake. "Nice choice." His eyes shifted back to the group. I pick Bella."
Roy stared at Bella. Wait, how could she be good at sports if she was blind?
Bella smiled as she lined up behind Chenge. "Thanks for picking me."
"I want Roy on my team," Blake said.
"I pick the blond!" Chenge said, pointing at Diane.
"This guy trying to create a harem?" Roy asked, staring at the three girls he had picked thus far.
Chenge shrugged and grinned. "Maybe..."
Blake glanced back at the crowd, eyeing it for the most physically fit members. His eyes landed on the young man with golden hair who resembled Silver. "I... want you to join us."
Silver's eyes darted toward their new member. His mouth opened wide. If he could speak he would be stammering.
The young man tapped Silver on the shoulder. "Long time no see, brother," he whispered into his ear.
