Seth: *looks at her* .... When was the last time you updated anything?

*ominous orchestral note as Ruby slowly looks up from her phone with wide eyes*

Ruby: Uuuuuuum.... *checks Wattpad*

Seth: Ruby. Again?

Ruby: I'm sorry! I've been busy!

Seth: *quirks an eyebrow* Busy what? Playing that cat game and eating tacos?

Ruby: You don't understand. The meow meows need me.

Seth: Do the tacos need you, too?

Ruby: *serious face* You underestimate the power of taco. They're possessing my body. The great taco overlord needs a host to prepare for the end times.

Seth: O.e

Ruby: The Atacolypse is coming.

Seth: ....... Alex did you slip something in her food again.

Alex: *from the dinette* If I did she'd be dead already.

Seth: True.... *shakes his head* You really should stop doing this to your readers, Ruby.

Ruby: I knoooooooow. *cries*

Alex: Oh not this again.

Ruby: *sobs uncontrollably*

Hey, guys.... I did it again.

I'm really sorry for the unannounced hiatus. I've had a lot going on this year, including losing 2 grandparents within a few months of each other, and honestly just haven't had the motivation to work on any updates.

I'm going to try and get back on the (shoddy) schedule I had going as soon as I can. I can't promise this won't happen again, but I can promise to try.

I really appreciate all of the support and patience you've all so generously given me over the last few years. It means a lot to me, and I wish I could stop with the long periods of going AWOL. But hey, life happens, and there's not much I can do to stop that. And I apologize for that.

I will try to get the next proper chapter up as soon as I can.
