I Ramble About Robotics Because I Love Robotics
K.C.: *eyes widen as another notification appears on her Fly Pad* Guys! There's another question! *stays where she is*
Pip: *looks up from reading on his Fly Pad after a lot of squeals and giggles* Who is it for?
K.C.: It's for Mr. Woodbird *opens her Fly Pad again and enters her email* Imma tell him
Freddy: *looks up from playing with blocks with the babies and spelling 'black lives matter'* Who is it from?
K.C.: *raises her eyebrows as she looks at the Fly Pad again to see* It's from @Amanda737055
Mr. Woodbird: *walks into the nursery with a happy smile, waving* Hey there! You said there's a question for me?
K.C.: Yup! *stands up with a smile and walks over to the engineer, handing over her Fly Pad*
Mr. Woodbird: *takes the Fly Pad curiously* Ooh! It's been short while since my last question, but I have been missing them! *smiles*
Pip: *looks up from reading on his Fly Pad and calls out casually* Apparently our readers favour you over Captain Beakman, J.P., Bodhi or Ava
Freddy: *frowns sympethtically, realising they didn't get as much fun as they did in the book* Yeah, it's been a while since any of them had to do a question or a proper dare
K.C.: *smiles hopefully* I'm sure they'll have their time eventually!
Mr. Woodbird: Well — *wants to proceed with things* Let's get to the question! *starts reading from the Fly Pad* What is your favourite thing to build in your workshop?
Mr. Woodbird: I honestly enjoy creating anything — and while it is very stressful and can lead to mental breakdowns at times... *smiles nervously and clears his throat* At the end of the day, it's still fun!
Mr. Woodbird: If I had to choose a favourite thing to make though... *trails off as he scratches his head and begins thinking* Uh... Geez... There are many things I enjoy making... I think I enjoy making simple things that require minimal programming and building because the rest have more stress, but I don't think I would say they're my favourite things to make...
Mr. Woodbird: I really like making things that spin which also require a specific speed *smiles lovingly as he talks about his robots* That's honestly the case for a lot of my machines, considering the fans and generators they would need
Mr. Woodbird: Also things that I need to make fit together because there's someghing so satisfying as finally seeing to parts fit together neatly and smoothly *shakes his head with a laugh* I really love making robots that function smoothly because they're the most effective, except they're also quite hard to get sometimes
Mr. Woodbird: *smiles like a child talking about their favourite toy* My absolute favourite to make has to be robots and machines that can detect colours because that would require a program that would actually be fun to make and not that repetitive other than enforcing a few loops here and there. The build of the machine would usually be more creative, too
Mr. Woodbird: *beams* I hope that answers your question!
