Chapter Ten: Bucky's Match

We were in the portal room the next day for Bucky's match. The four portals appeared once more. Before Bucky could use the blue portal, I grabbed his arm. He looks at me oddly before I initiate the kiss.

I felt Bucky put his one hand on the small of my back. My own their way into his hair while he bit my lip. I gasped, and then Bucky took advantage of that. He put his tongue in my mouth. Tip never gasp when that happens because then the person's tongue gets in your mouth and it is weird. Granted it is a good weird.

"Umm we would appreciate it if two people *cough* Ike and Zelda *cough* would STOP making out in the portal room!" We turn to see Marth looking quite uncomfortable and Samus giving him a look. Ike and I blushed. "Okay, are you two going to start that again or can we leave?"

"We can leave." Bucky and I say in unison.

Bucky grabs my hand before I go. I look at him and he said: "When we get back, I have something to ask you, okay?"

I nodded and entered the orange portal.

(Ike/Bucky's PoV)

Surprisingly, the ring in my pocket traveled in here with me. God today was a hell of a day, would you like me to clarify? Of course you would. First try and go ask multiple Avengers for the ability to marry their daughter and/or niece. It is extremely intimidating and daunting. The scarier part is when they agree even with knowing my past. I'm grateful for their trust.

Now here I am with a ring picked out by two people who seem to know Rosie Doll very well. The ring they helped me pick out had a white gold band with a small radiant cut black diamond in the middle. Next to the left diamond was an ice blue sapphire of the same size and cut on the right was an emerald the same size and cut as the other two gems. It was small and simple yet quirky and different. Just like Artemis-Rose is. I walk through the blue portal with the ring in the armor's version of a pocket. At least it will be safe in there, I thought as the light from the stage blinds me.

I take my sword and use the sun's rays to communicate morse code with Rose. The morse code asks: "Where are we?" She writes back.

"Delfino Square. The stage moves, stay on the flying platforms at all times. Good luck." She said. I give her a smile and see her roll her eyes. Fox appears on stage.

"Ike, stop making eyes at your girlfriend please. It is extremely uncomfortable." Fox said shifting a bit. I nodded and waited for the countdown to get over with.

Once the match was started, it ended just as quickly. I blocked Fox's hits until the pilot got tired. With one quick swish my adversary flew off the flying platform and I was declared the winner. I think being an assassin gives me an unfair advantage...
