Chapter Fourteen: A Way Home

It has been two days since Rosemary's message. This morning I wake up with a necklace around my neck. I felt its weight and looked in the mirror. It was the locket Aunt Pepper and Uncle Tony got me for my birthday.

I immediately ran to the kitchen. Luckily Hermione, Bucky, and Draco were all there. They nodded. We all held hands and I said: "Think of Avengers Tower." They nodded. I apparated them all home.

We were back in our normal bodies. My entire family gave me and Bucky a huge group hug.

We were home. I then saw Draco kiss Hermione square on the lips. "YES! HA! HARRY, YOU OWE ME TWENTY GALLEONS! HAHA!" I got up and pulled Bucky up with me. He spun me around and I stopped with inch between our faces. "We're home." Bucky said. I grinned.

"We're home." I repeated.

"Now," Bucky said going down to one knee. I gasp. "I can do this." He took out a black velvet box. Everyone's breath was held, and everyone silenced themselves. "This morning--er well five days ago, I went to your entire family to ask permission to do this. I even got help from the Doctor and Rosemary unknowingly in picking out the ring." At this admission, his cheeks had a tint of pink in them. "Now, I know you, so I know you would want to wait and get through some college or travel a bit more first. And I am fine with that. However, I stand here with my heart in my hand and all the good intent in the world. Come what may, hell or high water, alien invasion, HYDRA attack, whatever it maybe, I will be there for you. I love you and want you to know that you're it for me. So Artemis-Rose Scout Parker, will you marry me?" I gave Bucky a hug. I cried. I did all that cliché stuff I told myself that I wouldn't do. And finally I gave him an answer.

"You understand that we are never telling our children that my middle name is Scout. You understand that, James Buchanan Barnes?"

"Loud and clear Ma'am."

"Then I will marry you."

I gave him a big smile as he slipped the ring on my finger. Tony wolf-whistled, somehow Aunt Maria got here and started crying. Aunt Pepper and Natasha and my mother were crying. The teens had no idea what fully happened, since Harry and Alqamar were still wondering about Hermione and Draco. The boys were popping champagne. Thor boomed, "Finally they hath decided to exchange thy vows of love!" Needless to say, life would change around here forever...

A/N: And that is the end of Artemis-Rose Parker. Don't worry I may or may not write a sequel for the wedding. If I write the sequel, Ginny will appear AS A CHARACTER.
