THE HEWLIS-AN OPEN SPECIES

The Hewlis! The Hewli are a species drawn off from humans in the world as a random evolutionary mutation causing the ears to turn more wolf-like and giving humans tails. This species did thrive in the human population, and are now about 10% of all homo-sapiens on earth. They're scientifically still categorized as a sub-species of the Homo-sapiens, though they still(sadly) experience discrimination and hate from normal humans due to being different. What do you expect, bro.

The numbers of hewlis still are growing, since the evolution has seemed to prosper through natural selection. They do live their life normally along with humans, and through modern times are becoming more accepted. In Multiverse M currently, the known god of death is a Hewlis as well as the god of the air. They look completely humanoid other than their ears and tails, but they also have ranging eye colors, with yellow, red, and purple as well as normal human colors. The skin color range is still the same as humans. The Hewlis have a heightened sense of hearing and sight apart from normal humans, and usually have more flexibility and more mobility. They usually can mix and make offspring with normal humans, though the child will either be a human or a Hewlis. No mixes of the species is possible, and we wonder why. 

The Hewli are beyond blood types and all basically have one(idk how man) and they also are less susceptible to bleeding out because their skin can trap in blood easier due to faster regeneration of skin and all that. Why? Because. Some have begun developing wing-like figures, usually controlled almost like limbs and the same color as their hair/ears. The wings are covered with fur and not feathers, and don't have really any practical purpose since they cannot carry any weight.  Though through research, most of the genes in Hewli that create the ears and tail are similar to wolves though not the same.

Anyways, uh.. that's Hewli! Just me having a little excuse to make wolf-people haha- 

It's not a very creative concept but I don't care maybe someone will make one-(and yes they can be cyborgs because of the blood thing)
