"Wake up, sweetie," I hear mom say to me.

I opened my eyes slightly and see that it is still dark outside. "You have to get ready."

I nod. I get up slowly, so I won't fall, and head to the bathroom to get a quick shower before I leave. I think about last night. I going to miss my family. I slip into the shower and turn it on hot. I had a nightmare last night. I shiver slightly because it was SCARY! In it, Hunter and Raphael were possessed. They started coming at me with their weapons and killed me.

I don't know why I had that nightmare. All I know is that now I am scared to go on that quest.

After I get out, I head to the dining pavilion where everyone else is. I go sit in between Raphael and Hunter.

"Are you ready for the quest?" Hunter asks me after seeing my look of nervousness.

"I don't know," I say.

"Raphael, Hunter, and Carmen. Come here please," Chiron says.

We all get up and head over to him.

"You three will need to head-" Chiron was cut off. He was cut off because Raphael, Hunter, and I disappeared. I looked around and see thrones around me. And giant people. I realize where we are. We are in the presence of the gods on Mount Olympus.

"Hello Carmen, Hunter, Raphael," Zeus said in a booming voice.

I shiver a little and Hunter grabs my hand. With my other hand, I grab Raphael's hand. "Why are we here?" I asked the gods and goddess' angrily.

"It's not like we want you guys here. Ares has something to say though," Zeus says while glaring at Ares.

"Uh, yeah. I do. So you know that I have a staff that Hephaestus made. It got stolen or I left it in Maine," Ares explains, giving me a glare. I want to hit somebody, so I do. I punch both Raphael and Hunter.

"What was that for?" Hunter asks.

"Ares is making me mad!" I yell and give a sharp glare to Hunter.

"So sorry," he said backing away from me. Raphael turns me towards him and slaps me. "What was that for?" I yell to Raphael.

"You need to calm down," Raphael says sternly.

Oh no he didn't. "Did you just tell me to calm down? Nobody tells me to calm down!" I yell.

"Carmen Jackson! Stop this right now!" Zeus thunders at me.

I stop and stare at him.

"Tell Ares to stop making me like this!" I yell back at Zeus.

"Ares! Stop this nonsense right now!" Zeus, a.k.a the drama king, yelled at Ares dramatically. Ares eyes flashed.

"I will stop only if Carmen, Raphael, and Hunter agree to go on this quest," Ares said placing his fiery eyes on the three of us.

"We have to, right?" Hunter asks.

"I made it up! And then made Apollo send it to that red head chick!" Ares said, his laugh rumbling.

"Are you kidding ME?!" I yelled.

"You have to do it, Carmen Sally Jackson," Ares said using my full name. I backed up next to the guys. "Or I will kill your family."

I saw Poseidon and Athena stare at Ares in horror.

"You wouldn't dare," Athena said calmly, but you could hear clearly the venom dripping from her voice.

"I would dare," Ares said, his eyes flaming.

"Then we will go," I said trying not to make my voice shake. I dint want to let him see me terrified.

"That's great! Just head to Maine and you will find it there," Ares said. Something feels off, but I don't want to speak again. Then, we got sent back to Camp Half-Blood.

"So that's all that happened?" Dad asks me. I nod, even though I left out the part where Ares said he would kill my family.

"I'm glad you three are alright," Chiron said. I simply nod. "You have to get going, then. You need all the time you can get." We head to the car where Argus will drive us some of the way. I got an idea.

"Can't we ride pegasi?" I ask.

"Or shadow-travel," Raphael said.

"I guess you can shadow-travel," Chiron said, after a hesitation.

"Will it be too hard on you, Raphael?" Reyna asks.

"It was hard on me when I had shadow-traveled with your mom and Coach Hedge," Nico said.

"Then we can use the pegasi," Raphael said moodily.

"It don't matter to me," Hunter and I said at the same time. I look up at him and we start laughing.

"Focus!" Chiron yells. Hunter and I immediately stop laughing. "Just take some pegasi! Only two!"

"Only two?" I ask.

"That's the only amount I will give you," Chiron says calmly.

"We'll take it," Hunter said quickly.

"Then take Blackjack and Sugar Cube," Chiron said as he lead us to the pegasi stables. I spot Blackjack right away. Chiron goes to one that's coat is light brown. I guess that's Sugar Cube.

"Can't Hunter fly?" I ask.

"Yeah, but it tires me out," he replied. I nod. I just realize that I have to ride with one of the guys.

"Um, we have a problem," I say and face them.

"What is it, Carmen?" Raphael asks.

"I have to ride with one of you," I say slowly. Realization dawned on their faces.

"I could ride with Raphael, but that would seem gay," Hunter says.

"I'm not riding with Hunter!" Raphael says with disgust written on his face.

"What's wrong with me?" Hunter pouts.

"You're a guy and I'm a guy," Raphael said.

"Guys, stop it! I'll just ride with the both of you. I will switch every time!" I yell. They put their hands up in surrender. I smirk at them and get on Blackjack. I feel somebody climb on behind me. I look to see who it is. It's Hunter. He slides his hands around my waist and I feel some butterflies in my stomach. My face heats up in a blush. The same thing happens when Raphael talks or touches me. Oh my gods. I'm falling for Hunter and Raphael!

"Goodbye!" I say as we start to take off.

Where to, little boss?, Blackjack

Maine, I reply and tell the other Pegasus. We fly up and away into the morning sky.
