Chapter 10-Revenge Could Never Get Better
"You think we're scared, don't you?" Hunter asks me.
"You should be," I say. He laughs, his cockiness showing.
"Show us what you have in mind," Hunter says.
"Oh, in due time," I tell him.
"Oooh, I'm so scared," I hear Raphael say.
I just shake my head. "Let's just get to sleep since the starts are out," I say as they look at the night sky.
"That's fine with me," Hunter says.
Hunter and Raphael go to the other side of our little clearing while I go to my side. I lay down, pulling my blanket on me as I lay my head on my favorite pillow. I face Hunter and Raphael. They both are so different. Hunter is more laid back and funny while Raphael is so mysterious. "Hunter! Come here!" I yell to him.
Hunter runs over to me and asks, "Are you OK?"
"Oh, I'm fine now that you are here," I say. "Come, follow me."
He smiles as I grab his hand and drag him toward the lake near the clearing. I can hardly keep my laughter in as I bat my eyelashes. I lay my hands on his chest and say, "I hope you are going to like what's going to happen to you."
He smiles even bigger. I shove him really hard and he falls into the lake. I burst out laughing while running to Raphael. "Why are you laughing?" he asks me. "And aren't you supposed to be sleeping?"
"Oh it's nothing. And why aren't you asleep?" I tell him. I look over his shoulder and see a muddy pile in the land. The perfect idea just popped into my head. I place my hands on Raphael's chest and push him backward. He walks backward slowly and says, "What are you doing?"
"Um, the moonlight over here makes your hair more pretty," I say quickly.
He looks shocked as he walks backwards more. I push harder on his chest and he falls right in the pile of mud. I walk over to him while laughing. Then I breathed deeply through my nose. That stench... I know that stench from somewhere. Oh no. "I'm so sorry, Raphael!" I say realizing that it's not a pile of mud.
"You. Just. Pushed. Me. In. A. Pile. Of. Poo," he hisses at me.
I giggle. "I didn't mean too," I tell him. "I thought it was a pile of mud. I didn't realize the pegasi had to poo so quickly."
He shakes his head as I see a soaking wet Hunter coming toward us. "I told you boys I could do this," I tell them with a smug smile.
"Yeah, we're never going to get on your bad side again," Raphael says grumpily.
Hunter nods and I laugh evilly as I walk back to my side of the clearing.
