Latvia
You woke up to your normal surroundings, yet something was off. You could just tell.
You rolled over to check your phone. And let out a grunt. It was April 1stalready!?
You could already tell that today was going to go downhill.
You remember last year when Spain made a huge show of everything single thing, every nation did.
What a weird prank.
You got up from bed, and took yourself downstairs for some breakfast.
Unfortunately you never got that far, because there on your kitchen table sat a brown paper package.
"Looks like today's pranks start now." You sighed to yourself.
You open the package to find a pink lacy Lolita dress.
You set the dress back in the box. And closed your eyes and took a deep breath. This wasn't real was it? Please don't let this be real.
No matter why the dress was here, it couldn't be a good reason. Not on any day, let alone April fools day.
You unfortunately reopened your eyes to find the dress in the box still in front of you.
You sighed. You better figure what why this was here, before anyone shows up at your house.
You saw an envelope sitting inside the box too. You opened it, and saw a shocking photo of you... In your undergarments fast asleep.
You looked at the letter, and right off the bat your recognized the handwriting. You rolled your eyes, you weren't surprised.
"Dear _____, if you read this letter it means you've been invited to a crazy day down at the plaza! Wear your enclosed outfit, and hope to see you there! An as an incentive we put one of the two photos of you in this envelope if you wish to get the remaining copy, you'll have to come down to the plaza and find us."
You sighed. It really could be a worse prank. You feel like the whole 'incentive' was a bit much, but then again, you'd probably steer clear of this whole thing otherwise.
You put on the Lolita dress, and headed down to the plaza. You hoped today could actually be a little fun, trying to look on the bright side of things.
On arriving you didn't actually see anyone, besides the occasional butterfly.
That was a bit surprising since it seemed that others were seemingly 'invited' as yourself. You walks down the pathway to see if you could spot anyone eventually.
Actually soon enough, you stumbled upon Taiwan in a maid's dress.
"Xiao Mei! They got you too?!" You said grabbing her attention.
She spun around looking at you in your Lolita address. "Yeah every year. Seems like we can't catch a break." She sighed. You gave a strained giggle feeling the same way.
"See anyone else yet?" You asked walking up next to her.
"I saw Prussia and Germany sitting over on the hill by pond. But they don't seem to be moving or bothering anyone."
You nodded, "ok, well I know who wrote the letters, well, at least wrote mine. So why don't we go look for them? If that's alright."
"Sure." Mei smiled.
~(Somewhere else)~
"A-Are you sure this is the only way we can get our pictures back?" Latvia stuttered.
"I'm positive Raivis, Toris showed up in is normal clothes and they took them, Felix already told us." Estonia said shifting in his waiter apron.
"But Eduard," he said adjusting his own apron. "What if it didn't matter what Toris was wearing!?"
"Then we're doomed." Estonia said hanging his head.
"Hey you guys!!!" The two baltic nations turned to see the hyper Romanian nation running down the path, dragging the Bulgarian nation behind him, both in similar garb.
"Isn't there usually three of you?" The Romanian nation asked once they caught up. Bulgaria elbowed Vlad once he noticed the baltics immediately darkened at the question.
"We are here to get our pictures back. Do either one of you know who we're supposed to be looking for?" Raivis asked to the two Ottoman men.
Damian crossed his arms over his chest and sighed. "We thought that France would be one of the few people with the time and resources, not to mention he'd also be one of the nations who wouldn't spare anyone."
"That would make sense." Estonia said laying his fingers on his forehead, a bit worried. He knew what Francis was fully capable of.
"How about we-" Estonia started.
"Excuse moi!" Screamed Francis as he ran pasted the two Baltics.
"Hey, stop him!" England shouted from back down the path, he was obviously trying to catch up to France.
Bulgaria and Romania both grab one of the French nation's arms, making him almost fall, then stop.
"No wait! I'm telling you the truth I didn't do it!"
"Yeah right!" Arthur said smugly knowing Francis was finally caught. "You're only trying to prolong this. We know you are the one who sent those letters!"
"But I didn't! I really didn't!" France said squirming his arms trying to free himself.
"Hey! What's going on here!?" You shout, walking up an adjacent path with Mei.
All the boys turns towards the two of you.
"Uh, um..." Britain stuttered.
"Are you boys deaf?" Mei said putting her hands on her hips. "What in the world is going on!?"
"We uh, caught France. He's the one who took those pictures and blackmailed us into coming here!" England defended.
You and Mei laugh.
"What? What's so funny?" Raivis asked.
You looked over at the adorable nation. "Well, he's not the one who did it." You said wiping a tear from your eye.
"What? But it has to be-" Arthur started.
"I told you! See I even have my letter!" Francis said pulling his arms free from Bulgaria's grasp, then plunged it into his hair. He then revealed his letter.
"Let me see that!" England said marching over to him and grabbing it from him, starting to read it over.
While he was you take to opportunity to talk to Latvia. "So you look pretty good in that waiter apron." You half teased, half flirted.
He blushed, yet determined. "Y-You, you look good in that dress too!" He managed to tell you, considering how flustered he was.
You smiled. "Hey maybe after this-?"
"Dammit! Looks like he was telling the truth!" Arthur finally concluded. "But then who could have done it!?" He shouted.
You and Mei chuckled to yourselves.
"You haven't figured it out yet?" Mei laughed.
"No!?" Arthur said. While the other nations just looked confused, in agreement with him.
"¡Holá!" Antonio said walking towards your group.
You and Mei chuckled again.
"What seems to be going on here?" Spain says looking at Britain, France, Bulgaria and Romania.
"I thought I had figured out who had pulled this prank... I guess, I was wrong." Arthur said looking a bit defeated.
"Well it looks like _____, and Taiwan figured it out." Spain said pointing at the two of you.
"Huh!?" Arthur said standing up taller.
"Who is it!?" Romania shouted.
"Oh, I think I figured it out too." Estonia sighed, while fixing his glasses.
"Who?" Arthur asked again.
"_____, care to tell everyone?" Spain asks.
Everyone turns towards you. "It's Toni." You chuckle. "Don't any of you remember last year? And by the way could I get my picture back!?"
"no problamo!" Spain said magically making your photo appear and handing you yours then handing Mei's to her.
Arthur scrambled for words.
"How about, mine?" Estonia asked.
"Hmmm, ok." Spain said flipping his over in hand before giving it to him.
"And what about the rest of us!?" Arthur shouted.
"Well... No. The first three I gave away, but the rest are going to cost you." He said whilst laughing.
"WHAT!?" The nation's who didn't get their pictures back exclaimed.
"All's you have to do, is meet me down to the parks square for a little photoshoot." He laughed before disappearing into the greenery.
"You have to be kidding me!?" Arthur screamed at the sky.
Bulgaria, Romania, and France all start down the path that leads to the center of the park.
"Where are you guys going?"
"To get our pictures back." Vladimir responded.
"But-!"
"Arthur, you know it's the only way Spain is going give back our pictures is by cooperating." Vlad stated again.
Arthur huffed, knowing that they were right. Then following them grumbling to himself.
"B-but, I need my picture back too." Latvia said a bit upset.
"It's ok, we'll come with you." You tell him consolingly. "Right?" You say looking at Mei and Eduard.
The both of them nodded.
The four of you headed down the path the other nations had previously taken, going towards the middle of the plaza. Upon arriving, you found other nations also in, weird, outfits. As well as a few of those weird standing face cutouts you'd see on the boardwalk.
"Uh... This is a little, more then I bargained for." You strained looking at the scene before you.
That's when Alfred came running up to you in his own mini apron, bear ears, and, red, white, & blue cheerleading pompoms. "Hey! You guys here for the photo shoot!?" He laughed obnoxiously.
"Uh, yeah... How did you know about it?" Estonia responded.
"Oh, Spain told some of us," he said gesturing at the crowd behind him. "and Picardy who was forced to help him, told the others." He smiled setting his hands on his hips.
You look back at the half naked nations running around in chaos. "What about that photoshoot?" You ask still scanning the crowd for Spain and his associate, but you couldn't find them.
"Oh I guess they'll be back soon for that. Spain apparently forgot to write down that we were supposed to meet here in the center."
You looked at Latvia. "Don't worry about this. It's no so much as a prank Spain try to pull, and more like a fun activity, that everyone read the wrong way because he doesn't know how to word things." You chuckled lightheartedly.
That's when Spain jumped out of the bushes holding a digital camera, with Vincent standing close behind him with another identical camera.
"Alright everyone, get together and pose for a few pictures!" Toni shouted.
It seemed like some nations were more eager then others to pose, and you could clearly tell who was there just to get their pictures back.
You grabbed the adorable Baltic nation's hand and headed over for the group photos. The short nation gave a surprised squeak, as you dragged him along. Mei and Eduard also followed close behind.
Toni and Vincent, both set up the cameras and started taking pictures of the large group.
While you were posing and making funny faces to say to Raivis giggling, "see this isn't so bad, it's actually kinda fun!"
"Just a few more pictures!" Spain says happily.
You give Latvia a little kiss on the cheek, making him blush a deep red.
"_-_____, were you trying to ask me out earlier!? Because if so... I would love that!" He half stated, half asked.
You smiled widely. "Great, as soon as we get back your picture, let's get going." You said as tons of polaroids fluttered from the sky like confetti.
