✘ Prologue ✘

Seriously I have no idea why the hell I'd stumble upon the same park at the same day every single year. I just found myself walking down the yellowish brick road up to one of the secluded gardens of the park. Some people didn't believe me when I said that I really had no idea and that this wasn't my intention in the first place. They would tell me how I was either lying, or fate kept bringing me here for some reason.

I kinda laughed at the fate thing, because my friends knew how I don't believe in those kind of stuff. What I do believe in though, is the fact that whatever happened in my life was due to my actions and nothing else. People have a say on what they want to happen in their lives, which is why we get to write our own versions of the story that we want to live in. Despite my belief, they'd tell me that not all things in life can be handled by man and would either be made by Him or something else entirely.

I wanted to argue with them but I decided to settle in on the fact that we all had our beliefs and we have no rights to change whatever other people believe in if they don't want to do so. I just hope they notice the same thing and leave me alone.

That still didn't give me an answer as I continued walking down the road and look at the beautiful plants that grew inside the caged up dome. The secluded garden of the park was nothing more than a real big cage, big enough to fit five to seven elephants inside, which was filled with a lot of plants and flowers of different kinds. A plant lover would most definitely want to spend their time here.

I actually have my birthday present for Moonbin in my hands. Yes, I had to hold the freaking teddy bear with both arms because he really wanted a big one. The size of the white teddy bear was almost more than a half of my height, and as I had said earlier it's really big. His birthday was a few months back, but he kept bugging me to give him a present just because I wasn't able to give him one on his exact birthday. I was about to reason out, but the pout on his lips made me think otherwise. Dang, that kid had an effect on me.

I held the bear in my hands, just walking around the garden before I decided to leave, until I saw a really familiar figure come in. Good thing there were walls in here, like a maze, that I could hide from the person who just entered. Holding the bear tightly against my chest, I peeped a little from my hiding spot to see who the person was, and my eyes widened at the realization that Yoon Sanha was standing by one of the vine walls, hands clasping a folded green paper.

Just a quick rundown on the boy, everyone knew him as the most secluded kid in the school. He didn't socialize and no one bothered to socialize with him, him being a cold and mean person to whoever bothered to talk to him. He may talk due to school works, but never let anyone get through his boundaries and would immediately change the subject if the topic became too personal. He never let anyone see his true side, and I would be lying if I said that I wasn't curious about it.

I carefully watched the young man approach the vine wall, and with a shaky breath he placed the green paper inside one of the tangles, sighing heavily as soon as he let go of the paper. His hands went up to his cheeks, and I pretty much stood in awe as the man that I always saw as a brave and emotionless guy, tried his very best to contain his emotions and wipe the tears that were threatening to fall down his cheeks.

"Why won't you answer me, hyung?" He said, voice low enough only for him to hear. I heard because I was a few meters near from him, and I also noted how his monotone voice shook as he said those words. At that moment, I was able to witness the distant Yoon Sanha show his true feelings, and I feel sort of sad because I had to hide in order to see his true side.

Immediately, he walked out of the garden in fast strides, as if he didn't want to see whatever he left in the vine wall. When I was sure that he left, I went out of my hiding place and approached the green paper on the wall. I know I'm being mean and that I had no rights to snoop through someone else's property, but my dead on curiosity about Yoon Sanha took over my actions and decisions that I proceeded to take the paper and read it.

Hyung,

Where are you?

You promised you'd come back today.

Do you not remember that?

Today's the day we first met.

The day I fell for you.

The day we made it official.

The day you told me you loved me.

The day you left and promised to return.

But I waited for far too long.

Where are you?

Please answer me.

I can't take it anymore...

- Sanha

I could just hold the piece of paper in my hands as the world crumbled down on me. What I believed about Sanha was wrong in so many levels, that no words known to man could express how disappointed I am of myself. Why on earth did he have to go through this? Why on earth did he not tell anyone about this? Why didn't anyone bother to ask him if he was okay or broken deep inside?

With that, millions of questions ran down my head as I tried to grasp on the fact that the strong lad that I thought of him was actually a kid hiding his pain from the world, for some unknown reason.

I want to help him so badly, but I couldn't bring myself to do so. Why? What if his hyung came back? What if he was really waiting and that today out of all days he'd finally decide to set thingd straight and come back to Sanha? I just couldn't put myself to sleep if I ever cause a wider drift between the two.

Heaving a sigh, I just got out of the garden after I returned the note there. Okay, this was the really stupid idea that I could think of, but maybe I was led there due to some other reason, a reason far beyond my control.

Just maybe, I was sent there because of fate.

But I needed to make sure.

I guess observation worked best on this case, so I should start observing.

If you guys get confused, this is a flashback of Eunwoo's memory when he first saw Sanha in the garden. This will be essential for the plot brewing so sorry if there were any misconceptions.

Anyways what do you guys say? Is this great or what? Let me know in the comments below!

I gotta go now Byeolties! (Tentative fandom name, sorry)
