The next morning I was walking to school when suddenly I heard footsteps next to me. It was Blake.

"Are you following me?" I asked.

"Nope, I'm just walking to school."

"Hm... can I ask you something?" I asked nervously.

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Well I know we pretty much just met yesterday... but will you be my pretend boyfriend?"

"Well this is sudden." He said and laughed.

"Shut up! It's just.. there's this one guy in my class.. and I'm trying to make him jealous."

"Ok, what's in it for me?"

"What do you want?"

"I dont really need anything right now, but I'll let you know when I do."

"Deal." We shook hands then went to school.

August's Point of View

I sat down at my desk. Then the teacher came in and said.

"Good morning class, I have an announcement. Summer will no longer be attending this school."

Wow that's a shame. I wonder why. Summer was pretty cool. Although she is no Amber. I miss being with Amber honestly. I wonder if I should ask her out.

It was lunch time now and I wanted to go sit next to her. But this one guy with pitch black hair came and sat next to her. Did he just put his arm around her?! Does she have another boyfriend already?! Pft, it's not like I'm jealous or anything.

All day he was at Amber's side. That made me really upset. After school I'm going to ask her if that's her boyfriend.

Once school was finally over I saw that guy hugging Amber before he left. I went over to talk to her.

"Who is that?" I asked.

"Oh Blake? He's a really good friend." She said.

"You guys sure seemed like you were more than just friends."

"And would that be a problem?"

"Uh, no that's fine I guess." I clenched my fist when I said that. I couldn't stand the thought of her being with someone else.

"You know... I wasn't happy when you went on your little date with Summer." She said nervously.

"I can't take it anymore." Before she could even respond I pulled her close and kissed her.

She immediately started crying. Luckily they were tears of joy.

"I missed you so much August!" She grabbed onto my shirt and started crying even more.

"I missed you too."

"I didn't think you liked me anymore."

"Are you kidding? I lost a hand for you. And who was that other guy by the way?"

"I asked him to be my pretend boyfriend so I could make you jealous." She said and wiped her tears.

"Of course you did." I said and laughed. "So Amber can I ask you something?"

"Yeah anything."

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes, I will!" She said and tackled me with a big hug. "Now let me ask you something."

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Can we go get food? I'm really hungry." She said

"Yeah let's go." I laughed and held her hand.

Amber's Point of View

After August and I went out to eat I went home.

"Hey sweetie, did you want me to see if there is anything wrong with you now?" Bella asked.

"Yeah let's do it."
